So we arrived on 11/17/16 shortly after 2 pm. At first glance it appeared just like the photos. The inside of the apartment was amazing and cozy. If this was based on the apartment alone, I would definitely have given 5 stars. Once we got settled and our bags unloaded we realized that there was some very loud noise coming from right behind this complex. Bulldozers, jackhammers, workers talking. Sucks when you go away for peace an quiet an you are stuck listening to loud construction noises. With the construction comes dust. There was a car sitting on the side of the complex for a few days that was COVERED in dust. So much dust that it even came in the apartment from under the door. Again, I loved the apartment just not a fan of loud construction going on from 7 am till late in the afternoon or large amounts of dust. All the dust really bothered my allergies. If you aren't going to be in the apartment alot then I would recommend this place, but if you plan on hanging out in the apartment alot while you stay then you should definitely explore other options.. 5 stars for the apartment. 0 stars for all the construction an dust.
The apartment was very easy to find and close to everything. It was great for us because we had a car. The pool was nice and the apartment looks recently renovated. It's a quiet area (when the construction workers aren't around) and parking is ample.
Why only 4 stars?
There is a lot of loud construction right now in the area although it's pretty quiet on the weekends. The apartment doesn't have a microwave- just a toaster oven. The futon is pretty uncomfortable to sleep on- the bed was great though! The bathroom light was really dirty as was the rug. There wasn't anything around for us to wash dishes with (we used a clean wash cloth). The lock was hard to get "locked" once we were leaving the place. There is a mail slot that anyone can peek through and see into the apartment very easily (all the doors are like this- kinda creepy) The only other minor annoyance was that the smoke detector keep beeping. All of these things were pretty minor and I'm sure will be any easy fix!
Overall this was a great stay!
We loved the location and is one of the cleanest places we have rented on VRBO. Communication was great with email updates of when we could check in or out early or late. It was perfect! My husband even mentioned that next time we should rent a few of the rooms in this location for our friends and family to enjoy Nashville together! We look forward to booking with them again!
This rental was perfect for 3 people, and was in a great location. Walking distance to 12 South restaurants, bars and shops and $6-7 Uber to Broadway. Pictures are accurate of rental. Check in was a pain with Turnkey, as the unit number had changed and was not updated in the directions. It's Unit 209 and it is in the second building on the second story that is behind the pool. They have since updated their directions to check in. I did not factor this in to my rating, as I think it's more accurate to rate the quality of the property, not the property management group. Would definitely stay again.
This was the most reasonably priced accommodation I was able to find for our weekend in Nashville. The location ended up being perfect. It's right off a main road and on the edge of a quaint neighborhood. The 12 South shopping area is with walking (2 mi) distance, but because of the heat we drove everywhere. Certainly will need transportation to get downtown or to any other neighborhoods or attractions.
The apartment was clean and cozy. The pool was a nice bonus! It was nice to have parking, but the lot did get full. We found a spot on the street about a block away when that happened.
I believe Turnkey is addressing the 2 small issues we had. 1. The apartment was renumbered and is now #209 (in second building), which made it a little tricky to find on arrival. 2. Hulu was not added on the Roku.
The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was very clean.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Overall good experience. Easy access to downtown but neighborhood leaves a bit to be desired.
