About this property

To A Ludington Cottages.. Parkview #6.

This 'Cozy Cottage' is decorated in a lodge theme! The walls and ceilings are the original knotty pine, complete with a working fieldstone fireplace. Located 1/2 block from the Ludington Public Beach! New tile in the LARGER lighted shower and heated floors. Parking is on the East side of this cottage...easy unload, no steps! Security cameras on site. This cottage is well maintained and clean! Has a new mattress.smoke detector..fire extinguisher, and air conditioner. I have asked all guests to read the information/guidelines that I have inside our cottages. This is Cottage 6 we also own Cottage 3. (7073426). ALL cottages are privately owned..
We are accepting longer stays..if you are thinking about traveling north we can accommodate you. Let me know early…..January…February…or March.
Please ask about our discount for long stays.
NO BOATS ..trailers ..motor homes or motorcycles per Parkview Cottages Co-op Bi laws.

As of May 2025 no EV batteries will be allowed in the cottage. You will be charged $500.00 and asked to leave by the Co-Op no refunds will be given.

VR will not let me share my phone number. I will text it to you once you book.

We also have a web site and business cards in the cottage.

No refunds for Holidays

If you miss reading our House Rules… No cooking fish in this cottage, No fish in our refrigerator or freezer.. No Coolers with fish inside the cottage. We do have two grills on the deck you may use.

There will be an addition cleaning fee of $200.00 or if we have to cancel a guest because of fish odor..that will added to your credit card.

Co-op Bi Laws..No tents, travel trailers, boats, boat trailers, motorcycles. No candles. Do not rearrange or remove any items. Good Neighbor Policy.

Family and 40th Celebration

Several family members including us found VRBOs for the weekend and had fun together at a privately owned home in the same neighborhood. Our rustic cabin was dubbed “pine cone” house because of the pine cone decor everywhere! It was well furnished and comfortable. Thanks!

Usually I can only go by my cleaners recommendation..unfortunately we were at Parkview. You were an hour late checking out..when my cleaner... inquired you were disrespectful. The smell of soiled diapers was disgusting..you left a untied trash bag full in the container. I don’t need my cleaner recommendation...you are not welcome back to my cottages. Linda Simpson Owner

A cozy stay

This was an ideal location to have close access to so many things in the Ludington area! We took advantage of the proximity to the lake; we even walked to the nearby Oriole Field to take in some high school football! I’m not sure we’d want to stay here with two other adults, but it was perfect for the two of us!!

Lovely Quaint Cottage

The cottage was clean, comfy, and the space was well utilized. The cottage provided everything needed for our stay and we appreciated the thought out details. The location was perfect for walking to the beach and down town restaurants and shops. Wonderful vacation destination!

Our stay was very enjoyable. The cottage was clean and meticulously decorated which added to the fun

We were so close to everything: the beach, downtown Ludington, Hamlin Reservoir, and the state park. We rode our bikes to dinner and walked to the beach. You couldn’t ask for a better location.

Perfect Location

Cozy, clean and welcoming cottage. Communication with owner was easy. Kitchen was perfectly equipped for simple meals. Plenty of bedding and towels. Location is perfect- easy walk to lakeshore, town is walkable distance for most.

Wonderful family stay in Cottage 6

From check in to check out the process was smooth and communication was fantastic. The cottage was super clean, and just enough space for our family. You cannot beat the location. We enjoyed walking to and from the beach many times. We also walked to town, local free concerts (major bonus), and mini putt putt. I highly recommend staying here! Lots of memories were made with our family.

Great cottage with an outstanding location.

Every inch of the cottage is masterfully laid out and utilized. The Cottage is a open concept but we never felt cramped or in each other’s way. My favorite aspect was the decorations, It reminded me of a Thomas Kinkade painting of cottage life. The amazing beach is a block away and the State Park is less than 5 minutes away. When we return to Ludington we will definitely be back.

Nice little cottage just a short walk from the beautiful beach.

We stayed 3 nights in late August for a little vacation getaway before school started back up. We enjoyed beautiful weather and no crowds whatsoever. Downtown Ludington seemed like it was ready to close up early for the season. But the ice cream shops were open! And the sunsets on the water were gorgeous.

Everything we needed

A very restful and peaceful place to stay for a few days. Cozy, but well thought through in terms of everything one could need or want, with an economical but very creative use of every nook and cranny. The central patio and grills were a nice accommodation to have. Ludington is a very lovely town, at least the parts we saw, and a walk to the lake for beachcombing and sunsets was very accessible. We also enjoyed the Maritime Museum. Thanks to Linda for a very nice getaway!

Ludington Vacay

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage! It was immaculate and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the cottage had anything one could need. Linda was wonderful about getting back to us with a couple of questions that we had. The location was prime, with the lake a block away, and often we would ride our bikes or walk into town which was not too far. The area was super quiet at night, which was a plus! We loved the area and look forward to coming back again!

I had to check your reservation to make sure I was correct. You reserved for two adults. After checking in.. you texted me that your son was joining you. You stated the cottage sleeps four..and you did not think it would be a problem. You asked me where he could park. I informed you I do not accept three adult requests. My cleaner informed me you all the beds had been used. that she had to rewash the dishes, the cottage was dirty. The pillows were a recommendation from VRBO The junk was purchased from Cabela’s. The cottage might not be the right place for everyone …I am ok with that! Linda
