The view of Lake Erie was stunning. The house is very comfortable and clean. It is conveniently located to Dunkirk, Westfield and even Lake Chautauqua. It was great for a mellow girlfriends getaway. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others.

4th of July Family trip

Well the kids ran through the house as soon as we opened the door and declared the place awesome, and my son's girlfriend's first impression was that it had great vibes! We had everything we needed, plenty of space and many amenities! The sunsets were awesome!! When we opened the fridge, there was a welcome note and a huge bag of goodies!! We've received welcome gifts before, but certainly nothing of this magnitude! This home is close to family that lives in the area, and we would love to stay again:) Thank you so much to the owners!

Lake tranquility

A relaxing, enjoyable rest.

We spent two weeks in mid-September and could not have had better weather. Sitting on the deck for morning coffee or evening sunsets was just what we wanted, and got. There is a wide variety of things to do if you need activities. Buffalo is only an hour away for urban entertainment. Chatauqua is a whole different ambiance. The Seneca Nation is just a few miles away. The comedy museum in Jamestown is an interesting experience. The house was great and very well stocked. We recommend this location whole-heartedly.

Excellent Spot

Came down for a casual family/friend guys wknd BBQ and this was the perfect location. Gorgeous views from the lawn overlooking the lake, amazing sunsets. Home owner was great to deal with. I’d recommend this spot to anyone and may even re-visit in the future.

Great place to stay!!!

You cannot beat this view - simply amazing being off the lake. I can only imagine all four seasons being just awesome. I stayed here as my family and I were coming in for a funeral and as you can imagine the amount of stress during this time can be real high. Larry was great!! The house was really clean and the house actually has great amenities for everyone to stay entertained as well. Thank you Larry again for everything and hope to rent again in the future.

Incredible Lakefront Property With Resort-like Amenities

Our family had the amazing opportunity to stay at Larry and Connie’s Lake House. The home is even more beautiful than the photographs depict! The house is truly lakefront (less than 50 yards), with an incredible view of Lake Erie. You can walk around the backyard and enjoy the peaceful view or hangout on the deck, or even the balcony that’s connected to the master bedroom. There is air conditioning provided in every bedroom and the Great Room, as well as some well-placed ceiling fans. There is also heat and extra heaters provided for your comfort as well. Every amenity awaits you, from a welcome gift bag filled with multiple treats to a welcome letter and binder, with user-friendly and explicit instructions to make your stay stress-free. Be prepared to sleep like a baby, as the beds are super comfortable. Are you a java aficionado? Or is tea your drink of choice? Well, no worries, as there are two coffee makers (one is a Kuerig), with an assortment of coffee and tea to choose from. If you love to cook, there is a full kitchen with a stove/oven, two microwave ovens, a full-size refrigerator and a mini-fridge to house grown-up beverages. There is also a large grill available for use. The cabinets are filled with utensils, plates, glasses, and various cooking essentials. If you prefer takeout or a sit-down meal, the binder will provide you with information regarding some local eateries. There is a laundry room/full bathroom on the main floor, which is very convenient. The Great Room is the place to be with comfortable seating, a large smart tv with Xbox 360, Netflix, Amazon video, and YouTube. We were pleasantly surprised with the terrific WiFi service as well. Upstairs there is a little nook for you to sit and relax, as well as three bedrooms. There is a full bathroom that connects to the master with a double shower head and tub. The house is decorated in such a way that you shed away the stress and really go into chillax mode. If you sit on the balcony or deck, you can literally fall asleep by listening to the water from the lake. Larry and Connie’s Lake House is a gem that we found and hope that you get the opportunity to experience. We look forward to coming back when we’re up that way again!

Beautiful property - home was very clean and comfortable, well-supplied with just about every amenity you could want. And the little welcome gift bag was an unexpected, extra nice touch! Though it rained quite a lot during our stay, we still enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing time - even completed the challenging 3D aquatic jigsaw puzzle! Were able to enjoy 2 spectacular sunsets from the lawn. Did lots of beachcombing, thoroughly enjoyed the McClurg Museum in Westfield and dined out at several favorite area restaurants - highly recommend the Park View Cafe for lunch! One note - "direct water access" from the property as listed is a bit misleading. The path was far too steep for us to even consider the climb down to the water.

Fantastic view of Lake Erie and very welcoming home

We had a mini family reunion over the weekend and the accommodations were perfect. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything imaginable and the home had so much character. We enjoyed playing the xbox when it was raining and the back deck when it was sunny. The beach wasn't as accessible as we had hoped but there was plenty of room for yard games instead. We would love to go back :)

Convenient to Fredonia, Dunkirk, and Westfield. Lots of space, well kept. Very comfortable. We had one small issue during our stay which Larry couldn’t have predicted and corrected promptly. We had 7 adults, 3 kids and were comfortable. Thank you!!
