Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Clean BBQ or leave $25 for housekeeping to clean it for you. If not cleaned and no payment left, $25 will be billed in follow-up to departure.
Put refuse containers curbside on Sunday. Waste Pro pick-up is Monday morning. Once empty, return bins to house. Thank you!
All dishes must be washed and put away. A load of towels must be started washing.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The Blue Pelican is a great vacation home and we could feel it the moment we arrived. Everything was clean and ready for us to enjoy. The house and pool deck are spacious and laid out nicely. The neighborhood around the lake is quiet with great views of sunset. Both the pool and the hot tub were very clean and set at just right temps. At the end of the day, it was nice to have a large, comfortable bed. Ingrid was exceptional to communicate with and strives to make sure your time there is top notch. My wife and I would recommend this place for a relaxing stay.

11/10 RECOMMEND!!! This property is absolutely stunning! We saw so much wildlife in the lake while enjoying the pool every day! Every morning we had breakfast in the lanai and watched the anhingas fish, the turtles popping thier little heads out, and the beautiful hawks flying in the sky. The sunsets here are so beautiful and Deep Lagoon is a restaurant that is 15 minutes away with the absolute best fresh seafood!! We totally recommend the Blue Pelican and we will most definitely be staying there again!! We miss it already!! Ingrid is a very wonderful host and she makes sure your stay is perfect! Thanks again for everything!!!

Honeymoon

The house itself was so spacious and laid out nicely. The neighborhood was delightfully quiet and had great things to do. We loved being able to use the pool to cool off and the hot tub was also a great addition. Ingrid was so great to communicate with and she made sure to check in if we had questions. I would recommend this place for a quiet and relaxing stay! It checked off all the boxes you want for an amazing stay.

Great little getaway!

My husband and I stayed here as a little getaway. We did a whole lot of nothing and it was heaven! The pool was perfect, the view was spectacular, and the bed was absolutely divine. Very quiet neighborhood and great communication with Ingrid! Can’t wait to go back.

We absolutely had the best vacation at this beautiful home. The hosts Jerry and Ingrid were 10/10 amazing. The pool -the hot tub-the views..all stunning. The bed was super comfy..and the house was so clean. We will definitely return lovely area and neighborhood also. Super private and just an overall outstanding time. Would recommend this 100% to any and everyone!

Perfect Break

Beautiful house perfectly positioned for relaxing while watching the sun set. Equipped with everything you could need and spotlessly clean. Large outdoor area with lovely pool and hot tub. Loved watching the wildlife come and go throughout the day. Very quiet neighbourhood but within reach of all amenities. Ingrid was the perfect host. Highly recommended.

This is a LONG review, information worth reading about. Stunning. Once you walk thru the front door, captures the beautiful view. Until sunset..... not thinking it could get any better.........., BAM add breathtaking to this description. Check in was very simple, unlock LockBox, take out key, open door. Every amenities we needed were in the Kitchen, Bathroom, thruout the entire house, garage,pool, hotub area.. We especialy like that owners took the time to take pictures and post them inside the cabinet doors as to the contents. We had an Amazon package deliveried. delivery company messed up one package, owners were VERY helpfull to assist in locating one of the two packages. We not only have found a place to stay for future, also feel we have found a new freidship.

Sunny Paradise

Excellent property. Perfect pool. Relaxing hot tub. New tempurpedic mattress in the master. Amazing panoramic views of the lake from anywhere on the lanai. Tvs in both bedrooms plus a large screen in the living room. Numerous channels to pick from. Nice large sectional for 5, with recliners for 4. Very cozy and homelike place to stay for a quiet little getaway.

Blue Pelican- a little piece of paradise

Our stay at the Blue Pelican was wonderful! The home was immaculate and well maintained. The privacy and view that the outside pool area provided us was exceptional! The kitchen was well equipped with everything we could have needed. Our host, Ingrid, was very welcoming and helpful. Super Stay

We stayed for three nights. Wonderful location, super clean and had everything you needed. The spa was really nice and the pool looked nice but we didn’t have a chance to use it. The lights around the property make for an enchanted evening. Great place to stay.

Property just as described; very responsive owners.

My husband and I spent one month at the Blue Pelican. Everything was as described on the listing. Very well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, all appliances worked well. The lanai, right on the lake, with pool and hot tub was our favorite spot. Very relaxing and quiet.When I realized I had left some medication after checking out, Ingrid was very responsive, as was the housekeeper, Sue, who contacted me and arranged to have my meds sent to my home. I would recommend the Blue Pelican to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation and a super responsive host.

A great place to stay

The Blue Pelican is a wonderful home from home with everything that you could wish for. Outstanding location close to all facilities and easy access to the Gulf, Fort Myers, Pine Island and Sanibel. Jerry is a honored veteran of the Vietnam War, a sharp-shooter, and in later years investigated for the Inspector General’s office of the Army. He retired from Lucent Technologies (now Nokia).

We take great care of guests who have booked the Blue Pelican resort style holiday home for their vacations, honeymoons, and workations. We believe that when you book our home, your stay will be enjoyable, relaxing, and memorable. We look forward to welcoming you to paradise.


Why they chose this property

We were familiar with the area and always desired to be at the lake in a large home. It had all the features we were looking for: Great location, sunset view, secure and quiet area. It met all of the quality requirements, roomy and spacious, had great layout, high ceilings, view of the lake from all rooms, and a garage hidden from street. Much work would be required, but well worth the effort. The transformation was completed when we added the pool and deck area to make it our private resort, now available also as a vacation home on Vrbo, also.

We have transformed the Blue Pelican into a One-of-a-Kind tropical resort like home with wide open spaces inside and out, selected beautiful decor, painted in soft island colors, added popular entertainment features, and an over-sized waterfront pool deck with a custom Pool Screen Enclosure that has huge picture windows for unobstructed magnificent views of lake and sunsets.
