Amazing view, ample parking for up to six cars, plenty of room for a boat trailer, completely flat property with front yard for games, short walk to Branchport, shallow water for young kids and dogs, plenty of outdoor seating with maximum sun dusk to dawn.

We are located on a very quiet road with plenty of parking. It's ideal for quiet walks.

Additionally the property is located in the heart of the finger lakes region. Plenty of wineries, water sports, restaurants.. the works.

Family time at our favorite lake!

The house had all we were looking for a great view of the lake. Great outdoor space for a young family and their loved dog.

Lovely Time in a Beatiful Setting

We had a great time at Thayer Cottage this summer. The property definitely shows its age but this makes it even more quaint in a lot of ways. The owners were great about keeping in touch with us about the property and what was expected of us while we were there, which really wasn't much. I only gave it 4 as opposed to 5 stars because the fans in the living rooms were a little hard to control and some of the bedroom doors would not close without lifting them in the frames and slamming them a bit. This might be difficult for kids or older people.

Serene and relaxing

We had an absolutely wonderful time! The cottage is charming, clean, and has everything you can ask for. The views are just gorgeous and I plan on renting it again soon! The owners are very accommodating and helpful when needed.

Wonderful. .

My family had a great week at the lake.The Nielsen's were so welcoming and had anything on site that you could have wanted or forgotten.The patio, the view, ample parking, comfortable beds, spacious rooms,both tables were big enough for our family games , reasonable rent and so much more.. It was clean and homey and the air conditioning was a lifesaver for the hot weather.Thank you Jodi and Brian..

Great cottage all on one level!

Great cottage all on one level. Plenty of parking. Walk into the water and no zebra mussels. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great view of the lake!

Hi. Brian and I have two children that are in college. We spend a great deal of quality time together on the lake with a memories that I hope remind them what family is about. The cottage is a family gathering place for us and we look forward to summer. We are renting to help offset costs. The cottage has some years on it and repairs are plentiful. We keep the place for family mid July- mid-August which usually has us booked very early in the year.

What makes this property unique

Very flat. Ample Parking. A lot of room inside. Located on a very quiet off road that makes walks enjoyable. Water is shallow which tends to be perfect for young kids and adults that want to play water sports while staying cool.
