About Robyn Vandenberg
I grew up in Grand Haven and love all the wonderful outdoors activities that we have in this town. The beach and the pier are my favorites.
Robyn Vandenberg purchased this House in 2007
Why Robyn Vandenberg chose Grand Haven
I choose this property for it's beauty and character. I love historic homes and this one has so much of its original charm. The location is just perfect for experiencing all that Grand Haven has to offer.
What makes this House unique
This location is so fun. It is with in walking distance on so many attractions. The downtown shops and restaurants, boardwalk, marinas, farmers market, mini golf, charter fishing boats, and much more are a stroll away.

Exactly what we were looking for.
Walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants, music fountain, etc.
Great location with walking distance to everything downtown!
We enjoyed our experience at this downtown apartment. Great deck for morning coffee or an evening beverage. Kitchen is well equipped and a fantastic ice maker to keep your cooler stocked for lake time. Owner/manager was very accommodating and quick to respond. Would recommend a window covering over the patio doors and a mirror in each bedroom since there is only the 1 bathroom. There are no bunk beds as listed in description, as it must have been replaced with a second bed. So plenty of space for sleeping for 8 , or 9, if you used the couch. Would definitely stay again!
This property is ideally located just a block off of Washington Avenue and two blocks from the water. It's within easy walking distance of many wonderful shops, restaurants, and bars. It's a spacious upper unit of a house with three good-sized bedrooms, a living area, and a kitchen with an eating area. There's also a small deck off the kitchen. There are a few drawbacks: there is only one bathroom with a narrow shower; the "sliding" door to the deck doesn't slide well and the glass is clouded; the wifi didn't work; there are very few cooking utensils and no basics such as salt and pepper, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, coffee filters, etc., though there are plenty of dishes and silverware. All-in-all it served our purpose as we mostly ate out and enjoyed being in the heart of Grand Haven.
Full of character
This place is very old and has not been renovated but it has a lot of character. It is Pretty big. It has three bedrooms which is a plus. It is in an excellent location. Just two blocks from the main downtown street. Very quiet. Plenty of parking. If I have one request of the owner, I would ask that they replace the sliding glass doors in the kitchen to the deck as 1/2 of the glass is clouded. It would have been nice to have a screen door so we could leave the sliding glass door open.
Great location, just one block from downtown. AC had trouble keeping up at times and other guests in the house were noisy at night (three units in the house and walls are thin). Other than that, the house was clean, the deck was terrific, Robyn was very responsive to all of my questions and again, you can't beat the location.
Perfect location. Unit could use some updates but for a long weekend, it suited our needs.
Great location. Walking distance to every thing.
You are in the heart of the city. Many attractions with in walking distance! The musical fountain is 2 blocks away, the farmer's market , mini golf, splash pad, marinas, boardwalk to the pier, shopping and restaurants are all a short walk from this building.
