La aguja del pino de cabina está disponible para alquiler en el pintoresco lago de Beg Baugeg en Sanford, Maine. Un poco más de una hora al norte de Boston; 40 minutos al sur de Portland, ME; y unos 20 minutos de la Vía Marginal en Ogunquit, los muelles de langosta o la playa en Kennebunkport, o las Montañas Blancas de New Hampshire. Hay un campo de golf de 18 hoyos a 5 minutos de las cabañas, con un campo de golf par-3 y miniatura otros 5 minutos por la carretera. Hay un muelle para nadar, tomar el sol y la pesca en el lago. Hay un bote de remos, canoas y kayaks para su uso. También hay una rampa para botes en el lago si desea traer una lancha o velero. Absolutely loved our time at Pine Needle Cabin. We had everything we needed, it's was clean and the beds were comfortable. Close to beach and the lake was pristine. My husband thought it was the best birthday gift ever! Wr will be back!

This was our 6th year staying here for a week. It's always a high point of our summer. We all spend hours in the lake which helps keep our two teenage boys off their screens! It's a very rustic cabin but is comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. And just an easy drive to ocean beaches if you want something different. But I'm just as happy spending all day sitting on the screened in porch! It has come to feel like our home away from home.

We had a great time at Pine Needle Cabin. The lake is so peaceful and beautiful. The loons greeted us, the sunsets were spectacular and we swam and kayaked almost every day. You do however need the right mindset to stay at this old, rustic cabin. It’s very small and very dark. We pretended we were camping, like we were roughing it, and then we totally enjoyed the experience. For the money, it can’t be beat.Also, plenty of great places to eat in Sanford. Third Alarm Diner for breakfast and Flat Top Burgers and Shain’s of Maine.

This was our 6th time staying at Pine Needle cabin and it is still as wonderful as ever. We love the peacefulness of the lake and the charm of the cabin. Everything we need to relax and enjoy the rejuvenating beauty of Maine is there. We love that it is quiet and calm at the cabin, but a short drive to many lovely towns and places to hike. Kayaking on the lake we saw loons and blooming water lilies. The screened in porch is a lovely place for a lobster feast or reading or watching the amazing sunsets. We appreciate that the owners have thoughtfully made improvements over the years, while still maintaining the authentic, "old Maine" feeling of the place. It is truly a magical space.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this rustic Maine camp. It has an amazing screened-in porch that I will truly miss. We enjoyed fishing off the dock. The kids caught tons of sunfish which made it so fun for them. We went swimming and kayaking and took day trips to the ocean and lighthouses. It really was a great family vacation. The cottage is very well stocked. Be aware that the beds are full size, so if you are used to sleeping in a king or queen, like we are, it can feel a bit tight. You will need to bring your own linens. But the beds were very comfortable and we all slept well! A tip for rainy days with kids, the local library in North Berwick has a great set up for kids and they even let non-residents get a card so you can check out books and dvds to take back to the cottage. They were so friendly and helpful there. Overall this was a place our family will always remember. We loved our time there and hope to come back!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay. The swimming is everything I wanted. I brought my daughter and granddaughter (21mo). I want them to have the experience of being in a Maine camp on the lake. We swam, walked, went to our favorite places for seafood, watched the sunset and looms from the porch and slept so good. Thanks!

Authentic Old Maine Charm on a Beautiful Lake

Pine Needle cabin is full of rustic charm and hearkens back to simpler times. The lake is lovely for swimming, kayaking, and loon watching. Although the cabin is perfect for peace and quiet, it’s also near many activities and attractions in the coastal towns of Kittery, York, Ogunquit, Wells, Kennebunkport, and Biddeford. We found lots of great hiking trails nearby. We can’t wait to return!

Amazing week at the Cabin

We had an amazing week. The Cabin is the perfect size for 3-5 people. The screened in porch was so relaxing to sit and enjoy the lake views and summer breeze. We loved all the rustic character of the place. We also enjoyed days in Kittery, York (Nubble Lighthouse), Ongunquit, Wells and Kennebunk as well as Berwick, Sanford and nearby Dover, NH. We hope to visit again soon.

Quaint cabin in nice location

Nice spot on the lake, close to the shore as well. Camp is located well in from the roads so no concerns with traffic while staying there with our dog. Great screened porch. Although we didn’t get an opportunity to use them as the weather was cool it was nice to have kayaks and PFDs available if you were so inclined. Easy drive to explore the coast from the cabin. Lovely walks/small hikes nearby. Also close to shopping and Shain’s which was great!

Enjoyed it very much. Genuine New England!

Yes, enjoyed it VERY much. Why? Because it was totally as described. A cabin on a nice big lake, with the sound of loons nights and mornings, with that nice big porch and three bedrooms. Children & teens would love it. Couldn't ask for more. We have a history of vacations on lakes in VT, NH and ME so we're biased. Too bad it's so far from NC. We'd be back often and have already recommended it to friends in New England.

Quiet property, great fishing

Overall a very relaxing stay at this small rustic cabin on the lake - property as described in posting. Many pros: quiet setting, awesome screened in porch, two docks with access to 4 kayaks and a rowboat, great fishing, within 5 minutes of yummy ice cream and lobster rolls, and excellent communication with property owner. One con: hard to keep the rugs/floors clean with the kids coming in from the lake and from the pine pitch.

Thanks Amy. Sounds like you & your family enjoyed everything about our Cabin on the lake in Maine that we love, including the ice cream & lobster rolls! Sorry about the tracking in of sandy dirt & pine pitch -- have put out multiple walk-off mats along the path to every entrance, but taking shoes off before going in is the best solution.

Memories made

Cute little cabin. A bit cluttered with unnecessary furniture and dishes. No place to put our food. Little ants on counter and in cupboard. Bit of a hill to the fire pit. Caution if you aren't steady on your feet. View was incredible, swimming was amazing. Neighbors were nice. Overall we had a great vacation with lots of laughs and made great memories.

Slice of heaven

This was absolutely amazing. Everyone was wonderful around us. The lake is beautiful with a great breeze. The cabin is enchanting and we truly wanted to stay forever. It’s rustic charm enraptured us from the start and there was no shortage of fun. Our kids least favorite day was the one we ventured away from the cabin to go to York. They much preferred to be at the cabin, fishing, boating, fires, s’mores, games. We can’t wait to go back and Jan is so responsive. Everything was impeccable. If you’re a luxury hotel with room service type of person it may not be for you but for us it was heaven.
