This property is as advertised. It was neat and clean. It worked well for us. It is small with very little setting room. Stacey got back quickly with any questions that I had. Would recommend to family or friend.

We really enjoyed our stay, the cottage was perfect for our family of 5. The beaches were closed for swimming so having the pool option was great. Great communication, we would definitely stay again!

Great Rental

If you’re looking for a quality, low-key rental, this is for you. Just a mile from Wells Beach and across the street from Congdon’s Dougnuts, this cottage was a great, quick stay for the family during a holiday weekend. The host was really responsive, and the place was in good, clean shape.

Convenient, Pet Friendly Cabin in great location

The cottage was as pictured and described and pretty clean. It is located right off the main road with a gas station, Walgreens and a donut shop right across the street! We got breakfast sandwiches and donuts in the morning, it was great! The cottage itself is just that - a cottage, maybe bit older but they have done updates and it was great for our visit up to Maine with our dog. As noted in other reviews the cottage is close to the main road but was fine for us & there is some privacy. The front bedroom is a little noisier with street traffic/cars if you are sensitive to sound but it didn't bother me (I am a light sleeper & slept just fine). The back bedroom is quieter. There was pool access right outside the back porch which was great and dog tie offs at most cabins. AC worked well to help cool off the cabin when needed. The cabin was well equipped with necessary items, towels, paper towels, TP and hand & dish soaps. The kitchen had needed items to cook along with basic spices although we did not cook during our time there. Tv in living room & wifi worked well. Check-in & out was very easy. My only suggestion would be to provide more details around cabin location and parking. Overall, we had a good stay, and it was very reasonably priced for what the cabin provided, location, and being pet friendly. Thank you! We would recommend if you are looking for a pet friendly place.

As advertised and wonderful for people with dogs

It's hard to find reasonably priced dog-friendly properties near dog-friendly beaches! So I would def come back. This is a no-frills cottage which was perfect for me and my dog. The screened porch was an extra bonus, as were the tie-outs for the dog at almost all of the cabins. Donuts and food trucks across the street, which my dog dragged me to!!!; a longer walk to the beach but still doable if you don't have a lazy dog, a very short walk to the supermarket, and all basic necessities provided. My only caution is that if you plan to do work there, the wifi was spotty at times. Not sure if that's an ongoing problem or just that week I was there. It didn't disrupt my stay, I'm just mentioning it for others.

Very convenient and pet friendly

A very quaint motel that is on the main road, with easy access to the beach, shopping and travel to Ogonquit and Kennebunk. I stayed here with my small dog for 2 nights. The online description is accurate. It is an older motel with new updates. The owners were very nice and accommodating. It is near all shopping and restaurants. The beach is about a mile away. I enjoyed going places in Wells as well as visiting places and beaches in Ogonquit and in Kennebunk.

Cozy Beach Cottage

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay in this cottage. The space was the perfect size and offered everything we needed for a week in Wells. Cute, quiet, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Lovely stay in Wells!

We had a great stay. Hosts are nice, easy to reach and responsive. Cottage is just as described and we appreciate that it’s pet friendly as this was not as easy to find as we had hoped. Our only issue was that the WiFi is not strong. There is cable but we were not able to stream from apps which can be a little frustrating with a child these days. Thanks for everything!

Great stay, Great people

We had the pleasure of spending the Memorial Day weekend and meeting Chip (he and Stacey own the property), and getting to know their amazing dog Lily who is just fantastic, the cottage we had was perfect, very cute, and sized just right for our 2 kids. 2 small dogs and my wife and I, with 2 Bedrooms. Stacey was very timely on communications and always there - we loved the proximity to the Congdens After Dark Food Trucks and the beach at Wells, Maine as well as the Hannaford and local IGA especially when it was busy traffic wise, so the location is great. Very highly recommended and we will definitely look forward to many return visits!

In the middle of everything

The cottage was as described. We had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, great water pressure (a rarity in rentals), and space to walk our dog. It is very close to the beaches, restaurants, etc. It is right next to the main road and was noisy for us. We’ve stayed other places on 1 but not as close to traffic. I’m sure most people don’t mind that. The only problem we had was the internet signal. It was weak and dropped constantly. Not a huge problem but if you might need to work it would be challenging. All in all a great few days in a lovely location.

Little Gem in Wells, Maine!

Our cottage #9 was beautiful. comfortable & had everything we needed for a great vacation. Our host responded promptly to questions, gave great suggestions and even went the extra mile by decorating our cottage for Christmas. We highly recommend this establishment and will be repeat customers.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay, we stayed off season but it was perfect. Check in was quick and easy and the communication with the owners was great. Beds were comfortable. It’s right in the middle of everything. Easy access to everywhere we needed to go.

Wonderful!

My dog and I had a wonderful stay in Wells, ME! The cabin was a wonderful choice! With a choice of 2 bedrooms as well as a livingroom, dinning room, kitchen, back porch and large bath, we were all set! It even had a view of the water! A great place to stay!

Nice stay in Wells

Very quaint cottage. Close to places to eat. Across the street from a very good doughnut shop that also has breakfast sandwiches. Nice restaurant within walking distance jusr down the street. Convenient to where we'r wanted to visit.

Cute Cottage

Our cottage was cute. Everything listed in the description was as stated. We liked the fact that we could bring our pups with us. The owners were very nice and responsive. Our cottage was too close to the busy highway. We would stay again but request a cottage further back from the main road.
