This Old Town property was an excellent base for walking exploration of Lincoln Park (Saturday Farmer's Market was fantastic!) and Old Town itself (lively, with very good food, residential neighborhoods, shops, and entertainment), and had easy access to CTA trains to the Loop, Riverwalk, Millennium Park, and much more, had we had time. 7 adults (seniors) spent four nights, and found the four bedrooms, four bathrooms, large fully-equipped kitchen, and living/dining room/patio provided plenty of space, though one bedroom is a bit cramped and the dining table was better suited to 6 than to 10 people. We did not even take advantage of the third floor laundry/kitchenette/sitting area. We did feel that linens and bedding and perhaps even some of the bedroom furniture could have been updated, and cleaning more thorough, to earn the "Elegant" title and the price. We also wish we'd asked, as the manager recommended, for more detailed info about A/C - it worked well, but we didn't realize it would revert to a programmed setting periodically. But overall, our stay was great: Location trumped all else; space, security, and communication were fine; and it was a great (re-)introduction to Chicago!
