Saratoga/1881 John Sexton House

Located in the historic West Side of Saratoga Springs, we have brought back to life a home built in 1881 by a railroad employee and functioned as a boarding house for the employees of the great hotels. Our home is close to family-friendly activities, historic downtown, concert venue (SPAC), nightlife, Saratoga race course, and public transport. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. Our home is 1 block away from the art district filled with great restaurants. Very close to the race track and SPAC (1.9 miles for each site). The home now features, wide plank flooring, a wide open kitchen with plenty of seating for the whole family, 4 bedrooms, sun room and 3 custom modern bathrooms. The back yard is a ½ city block deep and there is ample parking. Beautiful back patio, vegetable and perennial gardens. Easy walk to all the art district has to offer just a few blocks away.

Great stay for our group!

This property allowed a great stay for our group! Xavier is incredibly helpful and quick to respond. There were great instructions for everything inside the house. There was enough space for our group of 9 adults. The outdoor area in back is fantastic and the yard is huge. Located very convenient to grocery stores, downtown restaurants, and the horse track. I would highly recommend this location for any group traveling to Saratoga!

Great house in a great location in Saratoga. 5 minute drive to track and main part of a town. House was clean and had a huge backyard. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful stay for a bachelorette party weekend.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. First and foremost, Xavier was an amazing host! He was very responsive and thorough with the check in process. The house was absolutely gorgeous and the backyard/patio area was a great place to hang out. We had 9 girls at the house and we all fit comfortably with room to spare. The location of the house was in walking distance to downtown which was nice. Definitely will stay here again!

Awesome place

Overall great experience from start to finish. Xavier was quick to respond and made booking easy. The location was amazing, walking distance to anything you need. Also - the house itself was spotless and there was information on controls, or Wifi etc. in every room. Also, the backyard was HUGE and set up very well to hang with friends. Couldn't recommend this place more.

Amazing place!

Xavier’s house in downtown Saratoga was fantastic. Clean, as advertised, beautiful and spacious. We had 10 people and all slept comfortably. The backyard was beautiful, and it was close to the race track and downtown. Xavier was also incredible kind and responsive. Would highly recommend and will be back!

Beautiful home close to town

Highly recommend this property for anyone or party looking to stay close to center of saratoga. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The home was very clean and beautifuly put together. The large back yard and gazebo was perfect for chilling out after the race and a long night out on the town. Awesome place looking forward to going back We also had a party of 11 guys and we all were very comfortable.
