Michael's house was exactly what we needed for our family vacation! So close to the beach for swimming, as well as to everything the area has to offer! The house was incredibly clean and well maintained, and had everything we could have needed for relaxing and cooking after a day out in the sun!

Great house and great location

Great house that offers everything we needed. VERY clean. Very close to North Conway. Under 10 minutes walking distance to a nice lakeside beach. We have stayed in Edleweiss before at another house and would not hesitate to rent this house again. Super comfortable.

The property was outstanding.

Fully supplied kitchen, clean and new. Beds for everyone and lots of space for dinning and family game nights. Easy access to a quiet beach. This is our number one pick for return next summer.

We have been renting at the same lakes every summer for the last 5 years and Michaels property exceeded all our expectations. Location, house, communication left us extremely satisfied and relaxed. What else can you ask on family vacation. Lake life forever..

LOVED IT!

This property was perfect! Exactly what we were looking for, exactly as described, if not better! 3 bedroom, 2 full baths, a "game room" downstairs that the kids loved, a kitchen full of everything you could possibly need to cook. Walking distance to the lake and a semi private beach, 20 min drive to Story Land, 15 min from Conway. We loved the place so much we discussed making it an annual get away!

Perfect location

This was a lovely, comfortable, and clean home. It was the perfect getaway retreat for our family. It was steps from the beach, helping us to maximize our summer vacation. We loved coffee on the deck, floating in the lake, and playing board games. Additionally, the home was nicely equipped with very nice kitchenware and a good television system. We love the proximity to Conway and North Conway for shopping, Mini golf, and excellent food. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Beautiful relaxing stay at Eidelweiss! Michael was easy to work with from beginning to end. The house was clean and perfectly suited for our needs. He has thought of everything from towels to reading glasses to bandaids to ibuprofen!I will offer this in an effort to help other potential renters—although the lake is super close and completely easy to stroll to, my 83 year old mother still needed a ride down, due to her own physical limitations. One of the reasons why we chose this VRBO is because of how accommodating it was for her to have her bedroom on the main floor with a bathroom, so that she wouldn’t have to go up and down stairs—that worked out perfectly!!The lake is absolutely wonderful for fishing and the cabin is situated perfectly surrounded by nature, complete with a little running stream in the back. The sounds were so peaceful. And the sunset over the lake was stunning. For whatever reason, I didn’t swim in the lake…maybe it was because of Frank the snapping turtle or maybe it’s because I’m a lake snob, but whatever the reason—we did visit White lake and Echo lake while we were there and that was a treat—both places, so beautiful! My son said that this was the best lake he’s ever fished in, and at 26, he’s fished A LOT of lakes! We would definitely return. :)

Super Cute House

The owner was awesome and communicated quickly with us. The house is super cute when you pull up and inside. The only down sides to the house were the hill you have to climb to get in and the linens. The beds were not made when we got there, and the expectation was for us to wash the linens. The owner was great to work with us, so it worked out fine. He was really nice about it. That would just be the one thing that I would say could be better. Other than that, it was perfect for our fall foliage trip.

Great house by the lake

We had two couples and 3 kids age 3-10 (7 people total). House was good sized for us, in good condition, and kitchen well supplied with pots/pans/utensils, which was really key as we made all of our meals at the house. We even baked a cake! The location is great, super easy walk to the beach. It was very hot the week we were there and the house kept cool pretty well. No AC, but between the overhead fans and keeping windows closed for the heat if the day, it was quite comfortable. Only complaint is regarding some minor terms of the stay: need to bring your own linens and haul away own trash/recycling. If these services were provided it would just feel so much more welcoming. All in all, it was a great week and we would return
