Sal por la puerta principal y disfruta de un café y una cena informal en la orilla, bajo la sombra de hermosos árboles centenarios. Cabaña recientemente renovada con aire acondicionado, una cama queen, electrodomésticos nuevos que incluyen microondas. Esto está en el hermoso vecindario de Peach Orchard en una ciudad mantenida, camino pavimentado. A diferencia de la mayoría de las cabañas de los lagos que tienen sistemas de agua de lagos o de pozos de playa, esta cabaña cuenta con el servicio municipal de agua de la ciudad.

La ubicación ofrece lo mejor de ambos mundos: la tranquilidad de vivir en el lago y la emoción de las actividades turísticas locales. My second stay here. Great location on the lake, so close to a lot of great restaurants, wineries & breweries. Also love the availability of kayaks and a paddle boat. And open the front door and the lake is right there! Love everything about this place!!

Private peaceful retreat

Cozy little home right on the lake where can unwind in nature. Great location for local the wineries and Watkins Glen Park.

The cottage was exactly as advertised. We had a really fun weekend at the lake. The owner, Bob, showed up our first day to introduce himself and say hi and make sure that we had everything we needed. The place is small and quaint, but it’s exactly like the pictures show. We had access to a paddle boat, a Row boat, and kayaks. There’s an outdoor grill that has both charcoal and propane. And a fire pit on the beach. Some things to note, the bathroom is very tight. If you were a bigger person, it’s a very tight squeeze for the john. Also, there are about 40 steps from the parking spot to the cottage, so if you bring a lot of supplies, you’ll be up and down the stairs, a bunch of times and get a great workout. Not to say this is a bad thing, because we knew that from the pictures. Lastly, if you’re going into the water, make sure to bring water shoes. Being a lake, it is very rocky on the walk out.Overall, it was a really nice clean place, and great for a two person vacation.

My favorite place to stay in the area. We've been regulars for years now and it's great everytime. Quiet, Clean, beautiful views, and a great host.

30 year anniversary

It is perfect for a couple get away. We kayaked for two days. Hung outside by the lake having a drink of wine. Coffee in the morning outside.

wonderful waterfront

We had a lovely time. The location is perfect - right on the water with kayaks, a row boat and a paddle boat to use. It's also close of tons of fun things to do in the fingerlakes. The host is very nice and check-in was easy.

Exactly as described

My husband and I enjoyed staying at this charming little retreat after a 1.5-week trip, and the experience was exactly what we needed. While the house is ideal for couples, we spent 90% of our time sitting outside, captivated by the lake views. What a delightful hidden gem! It's perfect when you need to escape with a special person or simply spend time alone in tranquil surroundings.

Relaxing Week

We definitely enjoyed our stay on Seneca Lake. It was quiet and cozy, just what we needed for a relaxing get-away. The cottage was neat and exactly as shown in the photos; and the owner was very helpful and attentive. The local fireworks were a plus for celebrating the 4th!

We Will Be Back in 2026!

This was our third consecutive year staying at Bob's property. We are completely satisfied. This year was even better with the addition of a nice Roku television! We love the privacy and the quiet!

Adorable With a View

We absolutely loved our stay here! The cottage was perfect for two, very clean and comfortable. Check in was great and Bob was a wonderful host. We were looking for a quiet place to disconnect from the world and this was a great place to do just that. We hope to have the opportunity to stay again soon.

Relaxing Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this lake cottage. The lake views are a step outside of the door and visible from inside. It was lovely to hear the waves as we slept at night. We stayed for the 4th of July and there were a lot of close fireworks displays provided by the neighbors throughout the weekend. The property was nice and clean and we had everything we needed. The owner was very polite and helpful with checking in.

A little slice of Heaven

My daughter and i were hoping for a very peaceful and quiet stay. This cottage more than delivered. The sound of the lake coming onto shore was so relaxing. The views were fabulous. We both got rested and rejuvenated. Would definitely stay there again. (For a 3rd time)

Trip to the lake

The cottage is a sweet little place, perfectly situated so anything you may want to do around the lake is only a short drive away. It was clean, had all the essentials, and Bob was only a text message away if we needed anything.

Very nice view

I did enjoy my stay. A few hiccups with parking and could have used more towels for 5 nights. But overall very clean and enjoyed the boats that were available.

great location and view!

This place is in such a great location- tons of great wineries and breweries minutes away! And the views are absolutely amazing. The cabin itself was very no frills, bathroom is tiny and not sure more than 2 people would have been comfortable. But we had excellent weather so spent most of the time outside, and there's a grill which was a nice bonus.

Thanks for leaving a review. I'm very glad that you enjoyed your stay. Thanks for recognizing the value of this location in an area with so many things to do. As you likely have discovered, there are not many lakeside rentals like this in this area with 100 feet of Lake Frontage, town maintained, paved road and a municipal water supply. Yes, the bathroom is small but is well maintained and the shower and flooring were upgraded last season. I strive to keep the cottage very clean and well maintained. I hope that you will visit again.

Great Location

We really enjoyed our Finger Lakes stay at this property. There are many great places to visit nearby and we were also able to get into Watkins Glen, Geneva, and over to Keuka Lake without much trouble. The waterfront aspect was the real winning element. We felt very private, we used the kayaks, and we built fires in the fire pit two of the nights. We did have a maintenance issue during our stay, but Bob came over immediately and made things right.

Best lake side retreat

This is a very nice place to stay. Owners are great. Didn't have any issues with anything at the property. Very cozy, quiet, wildlife, wifi is available, easy access, close to lots of vineyards, shade tree with lawn furniture and everything you need in the retreat. Was nice there wasn't a tv. You have a perfect view of the lake from the cozy couch. Lots of mirrors so getting ready was a breeze and quick. Definitely would love to stay again.

Lovely spot on the lakeshore

My wife and I spent a long weekend at this place and enjoyed every minute of it. We especially liked sitting by the fire along the shoreline. The host had a variety of watercraft available to take out. The views from the shore were very pretty. It should be noted that there is no TV. It wasn't missed, but we were surprised at it's absence.

Another amazing experience (despite a power outage)

This was our third consecutive year staying here. It is so peaceful. There was a huge storm the first evening that knocked out the power for a day. We still had an amazing time. Bob compensated us one day which was super kind. We will be back in 2025.

Everything went good and as expected. It did feel a little less private than intended with the opener living at the top of the hill over your shoulder.

I’m glad that your stay went well. I am surprised about the comment on privacy, previous guests have never expressed this concern. I do live next door to the property but always try to be very respectful of my guests’ privacy during their stay. This property has 100 feet of lake frontage that provides much more privacy than most Seneca Lake rentals.

A hidden gem, quaint, cozy with lake waterfront views

We love Seneca lake and never really get to this side of lake and usually do aB&B. This weekend we wanted something different, something of our own, relaxing-at our pace and we definitely got that! We were greeted by Bob w a bottle of 🍷as a thank you and very impressed w the cottage, spacious enough for 2 with all up to date amenities/furnishings. From the breathtaking view, coziness, soft towels, dual coffeemaker for pot or kcups, very clean, heat/ac, roomy shower, outdoor seating to have a morning coffee or 🍷sunset... and no TV was awesome to unplug close to many winieries,breweries,places to eat. This was an awesome time and will definitely be back -hopefully annually 🍁🍷🏠🛶 to use more of what’s offered Thank you !!!
