The house is even bigger and lovelier than it appears online. It was sparkling clean right down to the corners both inside and out. Right away we felt relaxed and at home, and it was perfect for our group of six adults and two children. We loved hanging out in the main room and around the long dining table. We spent hours on the huge, comfortable porch overlooking the lake enjoying our morning coffee, watching the birds on the water and in the trees, taking afternoon naps, sipping wine, and later marveling at the peacefulness of lake after dark. We also had a magical evening around the fire pit toasting marshmallows for s'mores. I even spent a quiet hour by myself just relaxing and reading down on the dock. It was fun to play with the children in the large yard.
The kitchen had everything we needed with more than enough plates, glasses, and silverware. The beds were comfortable and the main bedroom had both an en suite and a door that opened on to that fabulous porch. Both the serene setting and the location were perfect for us. Our only regret is that we didn't book a longer stay.
