Vacation home on the Albemarle Sound

Do you want to watch beautiful sunrises in the morning over the water? This home is for you. Enjoy your morning coffee in the sunroom or sitting on the pier. Take a swim in the sound or fish from the dock. Have your own boat, the boat ramp is around the corner. There is a large shelter that is wonderful for family cookouts. You are about 30 minutes from either Elizabeth City or Edenton.
Bring your own paddle boats or kayaks to enjoy the sound. Water is only about 3 ft deep at the dock. There is a fire pit on site.
Blink security cameras in use that cover the driveway and front and back entrances.

***Just a reminder, our slice of Heaven is waterfront property and as such, you will be in nature. There are insects, pests and wildlife that share this beautiful area with us. We do our best to keep them out of the house with yearly/monthly pest control. However, there is still a chance you may find a spider or other insects inside the home. There is also a chance in the warmer months that there will be Fuzzy Bills/Midges or May Flies outside.***

REMINDER - This property is on the water and you will be in nature. Although pest control is done monthly/yearly, you may still find insects inside.

Starter amount of paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags are provided. Should additional of these items be needed, renter must purchase.

Christmas Visit

We enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space to kick back and relax. The view of the Albemarle Sound from the sunroom was excellent. We will look for this place again when we return in the near future.

A wonderful stay at a challenging time

Beyond relaxing

My family and I have been here several times. Phyllis is very accommodating to your needs. She has done some remodeling, but it was already beautiful. We did lots of fishing, enjoyed the grandkids and had a birthday celebration. It couldn't have been any better. We can't wait to return.

Quiet and peaceful!!!

Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood, just right for relaxing and visiting with family. The house was clean and beautifully furnished. We spent a lot of time in the sunroom visiting and looking at the amazing view of the sound. Would like to stay here again in the future.

Quick trip

Stayed night to see son pitch for Steamers. Had a good stay with great family time. Only there 1 night. Very nice on inside. Great communication with Host!

One of Our Best Family Vacations

Wonderful Place

We had a relaxing weekend away from home here! The house was perfect for my family. We all enjoyed sitting by the water reading and relaxing during the day and then sitting by the fire pit at night. It was so peaceful and just what we needed! I look forward to staying here again!

Our family had a great stay. This house is right on the water. Lovely views. Not too far from the grocery store. We would definitely like to come back in the summertime.

Relaxing Time with a Gorgeous View

The house, Amazing Grace, was homey, comfortable and provided everything we needed. The view of the sound was simply gorgeous. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The only noise that we heard was the beautiful, honking Canada geese that were plentiful in the area.

Peace and Quiet

We had such an amazing time! Sitting on the dock, fire pit, playing corn hole, and cooking in the kitchen were just some of the things we enjoyed. The sound

I absolutely loved everything about this rental! The house was nice and clean and the sunroom was beautiful! The water was amazing to watch in the daytime or at night. The Wi-Fi was the only downside but, I would definitely come back to stay!

Great view of the Albemarle Sound

The view of the Sound was amazing! Had a very comfortable setup for hanging out back. grandkids really enjoyed the swimming and tried a little fishing (although we didn’t catch anything). Looking forward to our next trip down. Oh! by the way the house was great and very comfortable.

Property was everything we expected and more!

Phyllis was absolutely wonderful and her property was everything my friend and I could have expected! We had a very relaxing weekend and loved waking up to watch the sun rise over the Sound. The views were beautiful! Downtown Edenton was our main spot to go to. Little boutiques and a wonderful coffee house. Definitely recommend this property and I plan to be coming back soon!

Great Time!

We had a wonderful time here. We fished right off the prier in the back yard and caught 5 catfish and had a fish fry for the family. We caught some blue crab as well but threw those back. The view was amazing. The house was clean and plenty of room for the 6 of us. We will be coming back.

Amazing Grace is Amazing

We only had the pleasure of staying one night. Loved the wide open layout of the house. We were in town for a wedding and it was nice to have the open space so we could all gather and talk without being bunched up in one room. We also enjoyed the backyard. Was very nice to sit and have the sound for a view. We all plan to return and make a weekend trip so that we can enjoy this little gem for more then one night!!
