Delta Oaks ideal para relajarse o aventuras acuáticas

'Delta Oaks' es un lugar perfecto para una estancia relajante o una aventura en el agua llena de diversión en Bayou Lacombe. Está ubicado a una cuadra del galardonado St. Tammany Trace; una bicicleta, senderos para caminar y caballos que unen Lacombe con Fountainbleau State Park y el resto de St. Parroquia de Tammany Además, cerca de kayak, paddle y pesca en Bayou Lacombe.

'Delta Oaks' es una cabaña pintoresca que está limpia y recién decorada. Está ubicado entre muchos árboles de roble en un lote de esquina en una zona segura y buscada de Bayou Lacombe. Tiene aproximadamente 1600 pies cuadrados con porches frontales y traseros. El dormitorio principal y el baño se encuentran en el primer piso. Dos habitaciones están arriba con un baño compartido.

Lacombe es el hogar de varios restaurantes deliciosos, Sal y Judy's es uno de los favoritos para muchos lugareños. Está a solo unos minutos en coche de la casa. Nuestro restaurante local mexicano, Navarro's, está a una vuelta en bicicleta. Janie Browns, también es un gran lugar que está muy cerca en coche.

Si lo tuyo es el ciclismo, el galardonado St. Tammany Trace está a una cuadra de distancia. Hay un negocio local, Bayou Adventure, que alquila bicicletas. La casa tiene una vista de Bayou Lacombe. Bayou Lacombe es una vía fluvial hermosa, tranquila y profunda que conecta con el lago Pontchartrain. Bayou Adventure también alquila tablas de paddle y kayaks para su conveniencia.

'Delta Oaks' tiene una ubicación central. Está a solo 45 minutos del French Quarter en Nueva Orleans. A unos minutos en coche de Abita Springs Opry House. Pontchartrain Vineyards, que alberga "Jazz in the Vines" está a un agradable paseo de distancia. La costa del golfo de Mississippi es de 40 minutos en la dirección opuesta.

Awesome R&R girls weekend getaway. Beautiful home situated on luscious landscapes with beautiful aged, moss-laden oaks right off Bayou Lacombe. St. Tammany Trace is conveniently located only one block away. Kayaking availabilities, both on Bayou Lacombe and nearby Cane Bayou. An awesome weekend at an awesome B&B located in a beautiful quiet area. Fine Italian Dining at Sal & Judy’s - an extra total bonus. Owners were a delight to visit with.

From the interiors to the grounds all details are covered here - everything is top shelf. Quiet as a mouse but 15 minutes away from some great restaurants in Covington and of course New Orleans. Come oversee the beautiful grounds and watch the bayou roll by at the end of the day with a glass of wine . It’s great. Do it!

Absolutely beautiful

From the moment we drove into the property we were in love. I could easily sell all I have and move to this home. We stsyed for my daughters wedding and relaxed with her on her day. The porches just pull you into their peaceful retreat. The beds are wonderful and everything was decorated comfortable and class. Fall decor made it so homey. I did not want to leave. Definitely a place to spend time relaxing outside. Every window had beautifil Views of oaks and moss. Will be back!

Exceptional visit

Awesome, refined, beautiful, tranquil are descriptive adjectives I would use to describe both the inside and outside of this property. The huge trees with Spanish moss are magnificent. When I first walked into the house, all I could think of was "wow." The high ceilings, elegant furnishings were sophisticated but very southern. We were a group of four sisters getting together from various parts of the country. The downstairs space was perfect for visiting; the kitchen was well stocked with a multitude of pots and pans. The master bedroom was downstairs with a huge master bath. Upstairs there were two large bedrooms and a bath. Very importantly, all the beds were comfortable with good mattresses; we slept well. Both the front and back porches were so inviting that even in the drizzling rain, we sat outside for coffee and visiting. The hosts left us homemade brownies and brought us fresh eggs laid by their hens. I have tried hard to think of a con and the only thing I could come up with is that it is fairly isolated. To us that was a huge pro; we loved the privacy, peacefulness and tranquility. To some, it might be a con. We made short drives to Mandeville and Covington for shopping and exploring. The old part of Covington has numerous boutique shops and antique stores. We were always glad to come back to Delta Oaks to relax and reminisce. Over the years I have stayed in many vacation rentals. This rental makes my top two; the other being a villa in Italy. The online pictures are nice but don't do it justice. When making plans, Kim (hostess) was very responsive and flexible. On a scale of 1-10, all four sisters give it a 10+. We definitely plan to go back. Thanks Kim and Jimmy for a wonderful stay.

Delta Oaks was the Perfect Getaway

This property is absolutely beautiful and the house is lovely, well-appointed, clean and comfortable. The porches may be the best part! The owners were very communicative, friendly and helpful. I would definitely love to visit again. We wanted a three-day weekend escape and this turned out to be the perfect property for us.

Gorgeous home nestled in Louisiana’s bayou. We were walking distance from the Tammey bike trail and minutes away from good restaurants. Quiet and perfect in every way. I can’t wait to go back!

A slice of heaven

Need to getaway? This is a perfect rental. When you arrive you are greeted by beautiful oak trees draped with moss, the birds singing and the charm factor on the house is on point. Kim and Jimmy put a personal touch on this place that will call you back to visit again and again. We lit a fire in the firepit and gazed at the stars surrounded by trees on an acre of property. The rental was super clean and the bed was comfortable. We could live here. We will be back.

Wonderful!

Our stay at Delta Oaks was perfect. - quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. We arrived to homemade brownies made with an award winning family recipe. My husband and son-in-law thought they had died and gone to heaven with each bite! The home is tastefully decorated - warm and inviting. The kitchen and laundry room are fully stocked with all your needs. My daughter and I enjoyed our morning coffee each day on the front porch listening to the sounds of nature. We took a 6 mile walk on the trace right outside the door. Kim and Jimmy were so welcoming - inviting us to their family home on the property. We look forward to our next visit!

A Gem, Delta Oaks Lacombe La.

My group of 6 loved the home, property and location. Delta Oaks in Lacombe La. The owners were friendly and most accommodating. We planned activities that filled 4 days. We pulled in dozens of crabs on Lake Road using a scoop net and chicken legs on strings. Rode our bikes on the Trace. Drove about 40 minutes to Waveland, Ms and rode our bikes to Bay St Louis on the beach, Drove to Red Bluffs to hike. An Awesome time. Just what the family needed. We will go again.

Delta Oaks is what the doctor ordered :) we throughly enjoyed our stay! The property was just beautiful. The owner had fresh farm eggs in the frig. chocolate chip cookies waiting for us when we arrived on the property! Highly recommend.

Lovely stay in the country

Needing to get away from Nola for a bit, we booked a long weekend in LACOMBE. ItS a special place where you have tons of privacy but can also easily explore the beautiful area. Super close to the Tammany Trace, it’s great for families. Kim has the place stocked with kid extras like baby utensils and board games. The porches are perfect for readings and thunderstorms. We’re already planning to go back.

Quaint Getaway Close to Attractions

We live in New Orleans and it was a perfect quiet getaway with great amenities for a country house. Internet was effective and the house was super clean. My kids enjoyed running around and riding their bikes on the trail that was only a block and half away. We also took a short drive to Fountain Bleu State Park where there is a ton of activities for the kids. The cottage is very convenient to grocery/gas/delicious eateries. The owners were amazing and helpful with recommendations. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful

This is a beautiful rental situated on a beautiful property. There are 3 nice size bedrooms and 2 and 1/2 updated baths. It was perfect for our family of four. The owners had thoroughly cleaned the property and had a dozen brown eggs, homemade brownies, and candy waiting for us. You'll find everything you need at this property, whether it is a sunny porch to read, a fully stocked kitchen to cook, or a claw foot tub to soak. There is also a beautiful trail walking distance away, along with a book with restaurant and touring suggestions. Thanks for a very comfortable weekend. We plan to stay again and have already recommended your property to friends and family.

Beautiful home

We loved Delta Oaks and will be returning! The house and grounds are gorgeous! Kim & Jim are very nice and wonderful hosts! I took pictures of the most beautiful sunset! The old trees covered with Spanish moss so picturesque! They even brought us fresh eggs! The entire stay was just marvelous!

Delta Oaks Visit

We had a great time at Delta Oaks! The cottage was beautiful and the size of the yard was great for my 3 boys who wanted to play baseball! Very relaxing stay and really enjoyed the homemade brownies! Kim and Jimmy were very welcoming. We enjoyed going to some museums and getting beignets in New Orleans and watching a minor league baseball game near there, all of which were not a far drive. For a family of five who loves to stay in cabins on vacations instead of hotels, this was a great place to stay ... would come back in a heartbeat! Thanks Kim and Jimmy for everything. Relaxation in Paradise

Our family which included my wife, daughter, her family (husband & 2 boys ages 5 and 3) and myself had a fantastic experience at Delta Oaks. My wife enjoyed the complete serenity of the paradise tucked away with enough privacy and space to accommodate margin from the city noise. Yet it was close enough to attend functions like a family reunion and other dynamics in the Big Easy. The front porch would embrace the soul to linger in the freshness of the morning sun or the awesome afternoon sunsets. The personality of the home was built upon the character of family love and it spilled over into every aspect of decour and furnishment of the home. It was a fabulous stay for us!
