Amazing location

We were very happy with our stay and with our host! Beautiful location and perfect size to fit our needs. We were unable to use the outdoor amenities due to the weather but Scott was ready and willing to help us in whatever would make our stay more enjoyable!

Home away from home

We have stayed at the property a few times now, it is starting to feel like our home away from home. We keep going back because it is amazing! The unit is always clean, the furniture is comfortable, the parking is easy, the balcony and its view are awesome. The location is great, a nice quiet area with plenty of food and shops around. It is just a short drive to the beach. The host is super communicative, kind and just an awesome person.

Location was great!

We had a great time fishing off the property catching a large variety of small fish. The location was very convenient to access beaches, restaurants, charters, and anything we needed was within 20 minutes. The view is spectacular off the balcony with a view of the golf course and lovely rainbows occasionally.

A Fantastic and Memorable Stay!

Our family, including two young kids (5 and 7), had a truly fantastic and memorable stay. The highlight for me was spending hours on the balcony, sipping coffee while soaking in the breathtaking views—truly a million-dollar view! We also enjoyed kayaking and paddleboarding, which made our trip even more special.Scott, the owner/house manager, was exceptional—he responded quickly to all my questions both before and during our stay. While the interior of the house is a bit dated, it is very clean, functional, and well-maintained. In fact, it adds a bit of charm to the place, and the photos accurately reflect the unit. The cleanliness and comfort made our stay incredibly enjoyable.I would love to return one day and highly recommend this place to others!

Simply Awesome!

This property was just perfect. It had everything we needed and more. I loved the classic feel, spacious rooms and the view of the canal was amazing. Scott was also extremely responsive to any of my questions and did a great job of explaining how to use the water sports equipment. It was great!

Home away from home

Very large apartment with an old Florida feeling. Quiet neighbourhood. The beds and linen were very comfortable. The entire flat was clean. The balcony was spacious. Easy access to water (kayak, SUP). Owner is friendly and easily accessible. Overall great place for our family with the beach 15 minutes walk away.

Absolutely loved the location and space. The porch, kayaks, paddle boards and inter coastal access were amazing. It is not easy to find all of these features in this area- most similar listings are high-rise type buildings. Great communication and follow-up. We will be planning a return.

Terrible the property was disgusting and dirty we didn’t stay!

The owner (Scott) advertised the property as if it was a place where a family would feel like they’re home but instead the place was so old and unkept it looked like a place where drug addicts hang out.

This is Completely FALSE! Unfortunately the rest of Tangie's family couldn't make the trip so she came prepared to try to find Anything she could wrong with the property that she could even if that meant making everything up! She thought that if she could discredit the property and it's condition then she could receive her money back on the day of arrival. Unfortunately for her, she was unable to provide proof of any of her claims and VRBO didn't refund one penny of her reservation fees. It's unfortunate that people like this don't realize that if they just communicate issues in advance, that there are reasonable owner/ operators out that will work with them and re-rent the property in order to provide them a refund but she didn't do that. We encourage all of our prospective guest to please read ALL of our reviews and make your Own decision.

If you are looking for a special experience, Scott's home provides. The access to the waterfront, the view, and Scott's hospitality add up to a unique combination that is hard to beat. The property is spacious and suitable for working from home. If you enjoy walking, the beach is in easy reach. If we ever had an issue or need, Scott was there to help. A perfect combination.

Just what we were looking for!

My friends and I were looking for a convenient, quiet place to stay near a beach for a small reunion trip and had a comfortable and relaxing time at Scott’s place. The paddleboards and kayaks were a lot of fun and it was great not having to worry about parking! We also enjoyed walking/running to the nearby Surfside Beach and the trail alongside. The only minor downside to our stay were the many tiny ants that would occasionally appear in the kitchen area. This didn’t really affect us since we didn’t cook at all and ate most of our meals outside but just something to be aware of. All in all, we had an excellent stay and I would definitely rent again if coming to Miami in the future!

UNBEATABLE LOCATION

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful spot, look no further! Scott's location is a car ride away to all the action Miami has to offer but you can leave it behind and return to your private oasis at the end of your adventure. My husband, myself and three 20 year old girls were on the trip. It was an extremely safe area and we had no hesitation about having the girls walk around the area at night. We enjoyed time at the beach, (a short 20 min walk) paddle boarding and swimming right in front of Scott's place, in fact, we preferred that over the beach. There were ample water toys for all to enjoy. The place was very clean and comfortable. The pictures do not capture the size, it was larger then expected. Scott was an extremely gracious host and will do whatever it takes to make sure your stay is an enjoyable one.

Great views and customer service!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. This is a well kept vintage property among newer 3-4 story condo building, and near some very exclusive neighborhoods. This is a great central location especially if you want a relaxed safe area central to either Miami or Hollywood/Ft. Lauderdale. The view was lovely as it overlooked the golf course of a country club as well as a waterway. The unit faces south and there are great sunset /sunrise views from the balcony which had a nice seating area. While you can walk to the beach and shopping, we found it better to drive the 5 minutes to these locations. The place was clean with real hardwood floors (rare in FL), older style cool windows from the 40's that really let the breeze blow through the condo when you want. We had 4 teens and two adults were very comfortable. Plenty of room around the dining table and sleeping accommodations. The couch is very comfortable too and one of the teen boys took a few naps there. The kitchen had all accommodations needed with extra pantry room for our food items to keep everything clean and neat. The teens loved jumping in the water off the floating dock and took out the paddle board and kayak a few times. They had a ball and enjoyed the waterway. We rarely saw a boat over a week's time aside from a security boat for the country club across the way so seems to be relatively private and safe for water activities. Scott, the property manager/owner, was a great communicator provided absolutely awesome customer service while we were there. He gave us a grand tour to start things off, but also was johnny on the spot when we needed anything, Our airline missed one piece of our luggage and they delivered when we were out. Scott helped and grabbed the luggage to keep it safe. He helped with the water toys, even as the boys tipped over the kayak. He was there to let us borrow scissors and a few rolls of toilet paper when we were running low. Our flight out of MIA was cancelled, so we unexpectedly had to rent a car causing a delay in our checkout time. Scott was very gracious although he had some guests checking in later and even looked over the teens for a bit while I was picking up the car at the airport. I'd give Scott 6 stars if possible! If you are staying there, I highly recommend Carpaccios for awesome Italian with a great view of fancy cars, fashion and people. Josh's is tiny but has has a really great breakfast / brunch!

Absolutely lovely property!

We absolutely loved staying at this property and we will be staying there every time we vacation in Miami. The unit was clean, the furniture was comfortable, the balcony was spacious and comfortable with an amazing sunset view over the bay. Very close to many great restaurants and shops, close to the beach. Great neighborhood, it was very quiet and peaceful. The property owner was super nice and helpful. Really a fantastic place to stay!

Relax and sunsets

Gran propiedad para disfrutar de el relax y la tranquilidad a pasos de restaurantes y compras. La casa de Scott permite disfrutar de los más hermosos atardeceres de Miami desde tu terraza o desde el canal en los kayaks o paddle board que son de uso libre. Su propietario siempre atento a las necesidades de sus huéspedes. Excelente lugar para volver y volver

Peace and Tranquility

There was so much goodness in this experience I don't know where to start. The occasion was my sisters bday and family being together despite the chaos going on in the world. The host with the most award goes to Scott. From the reservation process to actually getting into the transport vehicle to leave Scott made everything perfect and to the satisfaction of my entire family. His communication, warm spirit and his ability to accommodate every need is unbelievable. The space was clean, quaint and comfortable. There was enough space to sit, sleep and even do yoga. The patio was a tranquil oasis, the water gave us life and much gratitude to the sunset. Being from the mid west the weather was perfect. The beach is a nice pleasant stroll of about 25-30min. So we got plenty of exercise. The neighborhood is friendly and have some interesting restaurants and shops. A highlight for me was "Mikes Cigar shop". Using instacart and "Publix" grocery store not being too far away made cooking a joy not to mention Scott gifted the bday girl a bottle of wine that complimented the evening of the bday dinner. This was a much need vacation to sit in peace and relax. I could go on and on but I wont the experience for me and my family was epic. We are making plans to return to kumbaya, do yoga, take long walks on the beach, drinks lots of wine and visit with Scott.

Great place.

Really enjoyed staying in the unit. Amazing view of the intracoastal, particularly at sunset. Great location, I ran on the beach in the mornings. Unit is spacious which is nice. Scott, the owner, is super helpful. He even took me mountain biking. I would definitely go back.

The view

Couldn’t wait to get back from work at a clients each day to have a cocktail and enjoy the best view ! Scott was a great host. Can’t wait to return.

Other than the incredible views and the immediate access to the water? The property is extremely convenient location, you can walk to so many surrounding amenities. The property itself is extremely charming and this particular unit is much more like a small house than an apartment. You don't have to deal with a large building, lack of privacy valets, or hallway entries. The unit is extremely spacious and beautifully furnished. The owner lives very close and is available to help with any needs during your occupancy.

Other than extreme cleaning and sanitizing, as a part of our confirmation process, we require our Application containing COVID-19 screening questions about possible exposure, diagnosis and or treatment of potential guests.
