Sylvia, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that parts of your stay did not meet your expectations. Regarding the entry code, the issue occurred because the code you initially attempted to use was a previously issued code. Since this was a last-minute booking, a new code was generated and provided once the reservation verification process was completed and this was communicated to you while in office. We also want to clarify the layout of the property. In the very first paragraph of the listing description, we note that “this property is located on the lower level of a triplex, stairs are required.” We try to be as transparent as possible about the building configuration so guests understand that there are multiple units stacked within the property and that some level of noise transfer may occur, as is typical in multi-unit buildings. In regard to the jacuzzi area and surrounding visibility, this property is located in a very popular and densely visited coastal neighborhood. Because of the proximity of nearby units and homes, it is not a secluded or private setting, and guests in surrounding units may have visibility of shared outdoor areas. We also want to clarify that the water you saw on the patio was not sewer water. A nearby spa was being drained for maintenance at the time, and the water you observed was runoff from that process. While we understand the odor and temporary inconvenience may have been unpleasant, it was not related to any sewer issue. Finally, we sincerely apologize for the housekeeping concern you mentioned. Cleanliness is very important to us, and we will be following up with our housekeeping team to ensure our standards are consistently met. We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention and wish you the best in your future travels.

Thank you for your review! You were wonderful guests and took great care of the house. We value your feedback and wanted to let you know that online this property is advertised as a Triplex with a semi-private beach area (shared with 2 other units in building). You received an information letter that was generated before you arrived that goes over your check in status and well as codes to get into the property. In this letter it clearly states that that parking for units 3 and 6: Car is lowered on a subterranian car lift for storage and it provides a parking plan diagram that shows where each car parks and is color coded. As a suggestion, the next time you book with us, please let reservations know if you have any questions about a property or parking status. We have so many great properties to choose from including single family units that have more privacy and different parking accommodations.
