About Heather Tuttle
Kyle and Heather Tuttle have been married 11 years and have 3 sweet little girls ages 8, 6 and 3. They bought Eagle Nest together with Kyle's parents to have a home to relax in and create family memories.
Heather Tuttle purchased this House in 2013
Why Heather Tuttle chose Hernando Beach
Eagle Nest is 40 minutes from where the owners live. It is the perfect distance for a quick weekend get-a-way. The views, fishing and pool make this spot hard to leave!
What makes this House unique
They fell in love with this house because of the water views from all rooms and the amazing fishing. They often catch mangrove snapper and trout off the dock and snook and redfish from their boat. It is also located at the end of a cul-de-sac so their kids can easily ride their bikes.

"Second verse same as the first"
This was our second summer in a row to enjoy this house. The view from each level is excellent, the floor plan extremely well thought out and the condition is excellent. The best part are the owners who could not be nicer nor more responsive to issues that might arise with their property. We have found them to be consistent and caring owners who communicate effectively.
We are going back next year!!! That should tell you something.
Can’t Wait Until Next Year
Our family has been vacationing in the area for years but this was our first time staying in this house and it couldn’t have been better! The home is absolutely beautiful and thoughtfully decorated. My daughters loved the bunk beds! We fished off the dock every day for 2 weeks and caught tons of fish, my husband took the kayak out several times and fished in the tide pools when the tide went out and we swam every day. The owners were super responsive when the A/C went out and had someone out the same day for repairs. It honestly was the highlight of our summer. We can’t wait to come back next summer - we’ll never stay anywhere else again!
Thank you for taking the time to write a review! It means a lot! We can’t wait for you to come back. :)
The sunsets where astonishing the area was amazing the small little restaurants where incredible and very well priced for family’s.
Fishing , boating was great.
Sorry I’m boosting this so much but I just cannot help it.
Sad we had to leave.
Heather was great and answered all my ? We needed and helped when asked.
2nd Time Around!
This is our second time staying at Eagle's Nest and we enjoyed it just as much as our first time. Our four year old played in the pool EVERY SINGLE DAY and we spent a few days at Pine Island beach, which is so close and nice and small for the younger kids. The beach is more enjoyable for the kids at low tide, more room to play in the sand and walk along the beach. We got to see dolphins right off of the dock a few of the days this time which was so cool, definitely one of the highlights. As others have mentioned the views cannot be beaten, and certainly, the sunset is the show stealer! There is a WalMart about 10-15 minutes away that we did all of our shopping at and also picked up a few collapsable fishing polls (so we could send home in our suitcases). The whole group enjoyed fishing off the dock every day, it was fun to even do a little bit of night fishing. One evening it was so clear out you could see stars as far as the eye could see...so we took beach towels down to the dock and laid on our backs and watched the stars. As it was before, the house was very clean, beautifully decorated and very easy to feel right at home. It is nice to have the small kids table and other small toys and books, it kept our daughter entertained. Heather has always been very quick to respond to any questions I had prior to and during our trip. I think we have found our annual vacation spot, we will definitely be back again!
Wow!!! The best time ever!
We had friends from Corpus, Dallas and Florida! We had more than enough room for 6 of us and then some! Everyone was so impressed with the house! Even our Florida team can asked about renting it in a weekend! We will definitely be back again and again. Heather was also so very responsive! Highly recommend for team building or family get away!
5 star, outstanding property!
We stayed at Eagle Nest this Labor Day weekend with 2 couples and 4 children, 3 of them under age 2! The house was spacious and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and rooms were big enough to easily accommodate portable cribs for the babies. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, and it was so nice to be able to float or get a little sun within easy reach of the baby monitor! The views from the decks and the pool were absolutely breathtaking, especially the sunsets. We took a few kayak trips around the mangroves in the bay and loved seeing all of the wildlife and enjoyed being right on the water. Warning, this is NOT easy beginner kayaking because of the currents so I wouldn't recommend allowing a child to paddle solo. One cloudy morning we had a pair of dolphins swimming and feeding right on the dock, so we could stand and look down and watch them for several minutes, which was an amazing experience for us all! Weekie Wachie springs was close by and we enjoyed the water park for part of one morning and the Mermaid show was a hit with the kiddos. If you go, get there when the park opens because it filled up fast!
Heather, the owner, was very responsive and helpful when we had a couple questions both before and during our stay. This was our first time to this part of Florida and we would definitely stay here again!

If you just want to stay at the house and play, Eagle Nest vacationers will have access to 2 on site beach cruiser bikes, 2 kayaks, and 1 stand-up paddle board. There is a private pool with views of the gulf along with a large dock for great fishing and or docking your boat. (Guests need to provide their own fishing equipment.)
