Clean and cool vintage feel!
Loved everything about the experience, except the deposit which is $5,000!! We did get the full deposit refunded after our stay but it really requires a leap of faith to hand over that kind of money to someone you don't know.
I have to say that I really love the building and it’s location to so many popular places in St. Lou
My visit to St. Louis, my home town and my stay at Marlene’s property was perfect. I love the feel of the apartment and the old architecture. So much nicer than staying in a hotel room. Sitting out on the porch and watching the neighborhood was very relaxing.
Perfect accommodations for our needs.
Marlene is a terrific host, very responsive. We had everything we needed. This is our second stay in this building.
Charming, historic, Craftsmen
This house was not only charming, but was the perfect location, as it was in safe neighborhood with very close proximity to downtown. The owner left everything needed for our stay and was very accommodating and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend staying at this historic gem!
Very nice apartment with an excellent location to Forest Park, freeways etc.
We spent a week here the place was very good size and nice. When we got there a remote was missing and Marlene went out of her way to replace the Roku. Marlene was very helpful. The kitchen was well stocked. The washer and dryer were all new and worked great. There was also a garage that we used, worked out well. Only thing we would have liked different is to have the TV in the living area instead of a bed room. Internet worked great. Weather was very mild upper 60s and 80s the Air Conditioners worked very well.
All in all we had a great time there. Will go back next year if available.
Cure place. Great value. Clean!
It was warm outside during our stay, and it was challenging to get the inside temp consistent. Otherwise, no complaints. Our hostess was so kind to bring an iron right over when I mentioned it. Great location--near zoo and Wash U.
Hi-Pointe neighborhood within half mile of Forest Park, Washington University and Clayton. One mile south of Highway 40 off MacCausland. Approx. 10-15 minutes to downtown.
