Great Value!

Modern two-bedroom, two-level apartment opposite bay beach and ferry terminal in the heart of Sorrento, walking distance to Sorrento shopping strip. The ground floor offers open plan living with leather lounges, large television/dvd/cd, polished floorboards and split system for cooling and heating, with a sliding door opening to the small front courtyard, dining table to seat 6and modern kitchen with gas cooking and microwave. European laundry with washer and dryer. Wifi is also provided.

Both bedrooms are located upstairs:

Bedroom 1 - 1 x Queen Bed - sliding door opens onto a small balcony with table and 2 chairs
Bedroom 2 - 2 x Sets of Bunks (all single beds - sleeps 4)

Central bathroom with bath/shower/toilet.

Both bedrooms have split systems for cooling and heating.

Access to communal indoor pool and spa* (managed by the Body Corporate at the Koonya complex) .

Park your car and walk to everything - beaches, shops, cafes, and restaurants.

Security carpark under the apartment block with allocated parking for one car (additional parking may be found in the underground carpark, however cannot be guaranteed). Parking for additional cars can also be found in the lane at the back to the Koonya Apartments (this is between the podium and the apartments fronting the beach) .

Rates are inclusive of all linen, towels, and beds will be made up for your arrival.

The pool open hours as follows:

9am – 9pm 7 days.

Also Note: The pool is heated up to 23 degrees only. As the pool is part of the complex and managed by the body corporate, if there are any issues with it throughout your stay, unfortunately compensation cannot be provided to guests.

Lovely, comfy apartment in a great spot!

My daughter and I came from the US to stay in Sorrento for 11 days for a relaxing vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed the Koonya Getaway apartment and the excellent service we received from Miranda. We inquired about an early check-in after our long flight in and were graciously and quickly accommodated! Plus, we were offered a late check-out time, which was also greatly appreciated! Response to our questions was speedy and information provided about the apartment was thorough. Unit was clean and very comfortable - the only thing I would add is a full-length mirror. The location is great for Sorrento shopping and dining. Foxtel worked great the whole time. Would definitely stay here again - thank you so much!

An enjoyable holiday

Pros - Great location, close to the beach and walking distance to everything. Underground car park was very accessible but there’s no lift, only stairs. The accommodation is nicely presented and comfortable with modern appliances and amenities. Air con in every room. The kids loved the pool! Cons - The kitchen was lacking utensils and there wasn’t any containers to use for food storage or to heat anything up in the microwave. The foxtel didn’t work properly. Mice (or rats) were running around in the ceiling at night. A BBQ would be a great addition. Overall we enjoyed our week long stay at Koonya Apartments. Sorrento is a nice quiet area but very expensive and food is overpriced. However, you can shop at the surrounding suburbs which are cheaper.

We appreciate your suggestion for some more utensils and storage containers and will make arrangements for these immediately. We will also investigate the situation regarding the Foxtel and possible need for pest control. Thank you for bringing these items to our attention as this is the first time this has been mentioned and we will have it addressed as quickly as we can. With regard to the suggestion for a BBQ, unfortunately we cannot provide one at this apartment as there is no suitable external space for one, that is not within a communal area, however there are some public ones available down on the bay beach, which is a short stroll from the property and a lovely area for a picnic.

Great spot, comfortable stay

Convenient, comfortable accommodation with attentive, friendly management. Management very kindly contacted us proactively to offer early check-in and late check-out, which really helped us enjoy our very short stay. Parking provided was secure and would have accommodated a trailer (or two cars parked end to end). It is worth knowing that this apartment has stairs to the bedrooms and bathroom - as well as to get into the complex from both the car park and the street. Also note on the Saturday night we could hear the music from the pub up the hill but it stopped by 11pm which was more than reasonable. Caffitaly coffee machine and generous number of pods for our short stay were provided and appreciated. Sofas and beds were all comfortable and shower had good pressure and an adjustable shower head, useful for guests of different heights. Bathroom fittings are starting to age a bit but worked fine and seemed clean. Split system AC downstairs and in both bedrooms. Oh ... Beware the blinds as they are two layers - make sure you draw the blockout at night - the "sheer" one almost seems solid but I'm pretty sure you could see in at night! I hope I didn't flash the neighbours. We had some issues with the Foxtel and the wifi instructions but have informed management and I'm sure they will resolve.

Stayed for two weeks with my family and couldn't have asked for a better location! Perfectly situated across the road from front beach and short walking distance to main shops - ideal for families with young children! Property itself was of a high standard - modern and clean with great laundry facilities.

What a find! Better than anywhere we have ever stayed! Perfectly located - walk to everything with all the creature comforts of home and more... they even provided oil / salt / pepper/ serviettes / vegemite / assortment of tea/ coffee / glad wrap etc. Plenty of quality crockery and cutlery to make cooking a breeze! Beautiful and spotless town house - the linen provided was crisp and clean! Really enjoyed the "community" in the complex and allowed the kids to make plenty of friends! Overall value for money - second to none! The kids enjoyed it so much they cried when we left! This will definitely become a regular on our holiday calendar! Thanks Verve... your attention to detail and customer service has been excellent!

Great Property excellent location

Location was fantastic just steps from restaurants beach and shops . Clean property with everything we needed .Disappointments were the indoor heated pool was COLD. This was the main reason we chose this property over another and kids weren't happy at all. Also was charged more than the advertised price and price I was quoted by buxton real estate .Apparently owner decided to increase as we had given up another property we had no chose but to pay the extra.
