Fabulous location

This lovely little cottage is walking distance to the main street of Sorrento and the beach. It was a beautiful spot for our anniversary weekend away and we would definitely recommend it 😁

Convenient comfort

Great location 5 to 10 minutes walk to shops, restaurants and beach. Secure, spotless and well equipped property. Excellent for a couple. One of the best we have stayed in. Highly recommended.

Handy getaway

The apartment was perfect for our stay in Sorrento. The location was ideal and meant we could leave the car and walk to beach, shops and restaurants. The unit itself was efficiently appointed and had a brilliant sense of space indoors and out.

Great property close to town

The property was clean and tidy and the owner contacted us in the morning to confirm he was leaving the heater on which was a great surprise. There was so much room and made the stay very comfortable and great peace of mind as well to be able to park the car within a secured car parking space.

Amazing location and very comfortable.

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The unit has a casual, beach hut vibe. New bathroom with a great shower, galley kitchen, comfortable bed and comfy sofa. The unit feels larger and brighter than the photos with several sky lights. Private carport at the front of the unit behind a secure roller door. Unit is separated from the main house by a tall wall and feels nice and private. The location is fantastic - 3 minute walk to the centre of town and main shopping strip. Highly recommended.

A quiet getaway in great location

A small, private but adequate place to stay for a couple of nights. It's best feature is that it is within walking distance to beach and main street of Sorrento It has had an upmarket large bathroom renovation and although very nice didn't quite fit in with the casual feel of the place A portable electric hot plate is provided and microwave for reheating purposes rather than cooking a meal Towels ( well washed ) and bed linen provided but no top sheet for the bed Probably better if guests bring their own The outdoor area would benefit from an umbrella in warm weather The host was friendly, easy to communicate with and kindly offered us a late check out

Good Budget stay

Check in easy and off street parking under roller door. Odd layout inside. Bed very creaky and firm. TV reception not working due to Ariel being moved by contruction next door. Towels very poor, no hand towels. Short walk to shops and cafes make it very accessible. Definitely a budget stay.

Uplifting Happy Vibes!

My wife and I found this beautiful place to be perfect for her weekend birthday getaway. It had everything we needed and more. Relaxing spaces with good positive vibes throughout in a very private setting. It was a massive bonus to find how close in a short walk this place was to the Sorrento shopping district. Our host Daryl made everything so perfect with instructions, codes inc wifi and directions for check in/out so that all we had to do was arrive. Beautifully presented and spotlessly clean with a thoughtful approach in its design and supply of items to cater for all our needs during our stay. We have stayed in many places in recent times and although some have been 2-3 times the cost, this lovely place is our best pick so far and we will definitely be back. We love coming to gorgeous Sorrento and there is no better place for us than Darling retreat.

Our accommodation was very comfortable and clean and in a perfect location with off street parking.We walked to the Searoad ferry for our night out and explored Point Nepean the next day. One tiny thing - I would have liked to see tissues and a variety of teabags supplied. I would highly recommend this apartment and would very happily return.

Great place

The place was lovely and cosy. It was very clean and there was a nice lounge, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The outdoor section was nice too, even though we didn’t use it. It had a lovely feeling. Shower was awesome and the bed was comfy. Daryl was great at replying to messages and he allowed us to change our weekend without a charge. Thanks Daryl. Your place is awesome. Will definitely come back and tell everyone about how great it was.
