The condo was perfect for me and my husband. We really appreciated the cooler, umbrella and beach chairs! The unit does not have a washer/dryer but the laundry room is next door which is convenient. You have to download the WASH-connect app and load money to pay. There were plenty of bath towels and 4 beach towels in the unit. The bathroom had extras such as a hair dryer with a diffuser, sunscreen and hair products. There is a light in the hallway right outside the front door that shines through the window by the front door into the bedroom; we shut the bedroom door so this was no big deal. However, if someone is sleeping on the couch bed, it might bother them. The condo was clean and quiet, the pool area is clean and quiet as well. We appreciated the outdoor shower in the pool area. There is also a nice picnic table/grill area by the pool. We walked the 3-4 minute walk to the beach almost every morning to watch the sunrise. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Location!

Very pleased with our stay. The condo was clean & well kept. The air conditioning & the laundry facilities were a big plus. We were close shopping & centrally located to heading north or south for exploring the Island. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay for family of 4

The unit had everything we needed; kitchen very well stocked for cooking; also had beach chairs/umbrella which was great. The location is excellent, a short walk to the beach and restaurants or the Coconut marketplace. The beach is not very swimmable in the winter (but good for stargazing, strolls or sand play) so we drove 7-10 min to the nearby Lydgate beach or 25 min to Poipu beach in the south or Anini beach in the north. There is a pool but we did not use it. Our family loved the place. Mahalo!

Beware of homeless camps located near this property

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is located approximately 300 yds from the beach. There were several homeless camps set up on the beachfront and on 3 occasions police activity was noted on the beach and other adjacent commercial properties where public restrooms were offered. I asked the security guard stationed at the Plantation Hale property about the safety of using the beach, and I was advised that night time use should be avoided. We also observed one homeless person bathing in an irrigation spigot adjacent to the access road for the property. We avoided using this area altogether.

Comfortable Unit

One bedroom unit is upgraded and spacious for 2 people. Has a large bedroom closet and dresser which is very useful. Location is close to shopping and dining.

Clean, reasonably priced condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was fully equipped as advertised and as the photos showed. Condo was clean and well maintained, as well as the entire Plantation Hale resort. We appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler bag that were available for use. We checked in after hours at 3 am local time, and security was available within a couple minutes to check us in. We had no issues with anything in the condo, so we did not need to contact the front desk.Kapaa is a great central location on the island, with lots of amenities within a few minutes, and lots of restaurants, shops and food trucks within the area. The beaches on the east side of the island have big waves at this time of the year and not really able to swim in them, but Lyngate Beach Park is only 5 minutes away and it has a closed in area that makes it great to swim even with small kids. We also went to the Poipu and the Hanalei Bay area for beach time.The booking process through Garden Island Properties was easy and they kept us updated with all the details we needed leading up to our arrival and until we checked out. We would recommend this unit and would definitely book again.

Vacation rental

Nice location. Rooms were clean and maintained. Walking distance from market it was nice just to walk over to get snacks or dinner without driving. Needs more towels for family of 3 for 1 week stay 3 towels were not enough for week. Needed to take trash out every day but trash was locked majority of time prior to leaving to activities .

Loved everything about this place!

I feel like the reviews I read about this place didn’t do it justice. Soon as I walked in I fell in love with this place. It’s nothing over the top but I thought it was such a cute cozy spot. It was so clean and had everything we needed! and the location can’t be beat. Me and my bf went to the coconut marketplace everyday! And I love the customer service. Soon as I texted about a problem or question they got back to me within a minute! Definitely recommend staying here. Thank you for everything!

Everything we needed and close to beach and shopping

Nice, clean little VRBO that is conveniently located near the beach and a shopping center with a grocery store. Easy access to the highway to get to both hanalei and waimea canyon. They provide you with beach towels and chairs for use and we even used the jacuzzi. AC works well. We would return.

Nice place great location pretty much as advertised. The grill at my end did not work so I asked them to fix. Had to ask twice. It worked one day then same issues. Would not reach temperature so I used the oven. Other than that, nice place
