Plainly stated, there is no finer resort on Galveston Island than the San Luis Resort and Condominiums. Boasting 10 unique restaurants ranging from the casual and kid-friendly "Blake's Bistro" to high-end 5-star dining at "The Steakhouse".... the San Luis has it all.

Spend your days relaxing at "The Cove", the resort's own tropical oasis featuring a heated pool with swim-up bar, hot tub overlooking the beach, fire pits and private cabanas. Unwind by the fire at the nightly happy hour featuring discounted drinks and appetizers at the poolside lounge.

Our condominium provides your group with all of the amazing amenities of the San Luis resort, while also offering a full kitchen and living room to enjoy during your stay.

Located on the 15th floor, our beachfront condo features two balconies overlooking the Seawall and the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. With a king-size bed plus a fold-out sleeper sofa, we can comfortably sleep four guests in our spacious property. The kitchen features everything you'll need to cook dinner, including a full-size refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. Don't feel like cooking? Simply pick up the phone and order from the extensive gourmet room service menu or just walk downstairs and choose from a wide selection of available dining options on the resort property.

Centrally located on the island, the San Luis is just a short trolley ride away from the Pleasure Pier, great shopping in the historic Strand District or the amazing attractions at Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn. There's simply too much to do in one trip... fishing, museums, helicopter tours, horseback riding, historic home tours, fantastic dining, dolphin boat tours, the BEACH, the aquarium, water parks, the Children's Museum, brewery tours, nightlife and so much more!

Terminal Marítimo do Porto de Galveston e Port of Galveston são duas atrações perfeitas para quem busca diversão. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Robin was so helpful and prompt with questions, the condo was squeaky clean, easy check in and check out process and the San Luis was convenient but also had tons for our kiddos to enjoy. This is why we coming back to the San Luis condos!

Robin was very accommodating and always available. Had a brief delay because front desk attendant did not know how to issue our room keys to condo recipient until checking with manager but all else was great. Resort is beautiful and right across the beach with great views from condo. Sliding doors to balcony were extremely hard to open so did not spend time on our balcony. All and all, we had a lovely time at this property.

A Getaway before School Starts

The room was very clean. We just had a slight problem with checking in, somehow the hotel had us booking through Expedia, but they wanted to be sure we were checked in. Robin, the condo owner took care of the problem for us...otherwise, San Luis is a great place for a weekend getaway, the restaurants are quite good, the pool was clean, very kid friendly. We would stay again.

Great getaway!

We loved our stay! Only negatives: the checkin process was a little tedious and you have to carry around a fob as well as hotel key because they’re used throughout the stay. I have no suggestion to improve that, but it is something to note. Now, ALL the good things! The view was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed using both private balconies. The resort has a great pool and hot tub, as well as games and toys that are on the lawn during the day. The proximity to the beach is fantastic. You do have to cross the 4 lanes of traffic to get there, but there’s a stoplight to allow you to cross safely. There are tons of restaurants and attractions along Seawall, within a few minute drive. We also liked that there was dedicated parking in the garage, with close access to the elevator. We love Galveston for an easy, relaxing vacation, and I can definitely see us staying in these condos again!

Awesome owner. Great condo and resort.

Robin was extremely helpful and the check in process was very easy. The room was excellent as was the resort. We will definitely return and use this particular listing as the check in and check out process is much easier than some of the others that require you to meet somewhere offsite.

My wife, Wendy, and I love Galveston and all that it has to offer our family. We enjoy taking our kids to the beach and exploring new restaurants and attractions on the island. Having young children, we are frequent visitors to The Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens and on the dolphin watching tours at The Strand, but some of our best times are spent splashing in the pool with the kids or relaxing on the balcony after a full day at the beach.

We vacationed at the San Luis for many years before finally buying our condo. The facilities and restaurants are second-to-none and many times we'll spend our entire trip at the hotel without ever leaving the property. With such a great pool area, so many restaurant options, the ice cream & coffee shop, fitness center and spa, it's easy to get swept up in the magic of the place and never leave!
