Situated in the highly sought after Smith street precinct, no more than 5 minutes walk to the beach and shops, this traditional beach house has one of the best locations in Lorne.

Set over two stories, Bay Vista features an open plan kitchen dining area boasting stunning main beach and ocean views, separate lounge with open fire and a separately accessed kids retreat/rumpus below.

The downstairs retreat is a real feature of the property and includes sleeping for 4 (2 x bunk beds), en suite bathroom, lounges, pool table, 50 inch 3D LCD television, Foosball and darts.

Upstairs, all bedrooms are well appointed and bathrooms have all been recently renovated to offer a modern edge to the home. The property is fully fenced and grounds feature established and secluded gardens, outdoor BBQ area with Chiminea and a spacious driveway with parking for up to 4 cars.

Whilst Bay Vista offers a long list of great features, none offer more than the comfort and ease of parking your car and walking everywhere. Come see for yourself.

It is important to understand this property is a holiday rental, not a shared space or principle place of residence, which ensures you privacy and quiet enjoyment. It is also professionally managed, giving you peace of mind of 24/7 support by a local, just around the corner.

Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ā€˜Pets Welcomeā€™ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.

All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the ā€œHouse Rulesā€. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

Dark and dirty

Location great ! View great ! Lots of room for everyone ! BUT this house is very dark, very cluttered and simply dirty. Each room had its own smell -acrid fireplace to musty, animal droppings, cob webs and dead flies and moths. Sorry but it looked like no one had been in it for months. Dusty Knick knacks everywhere- we were constantly sneezing. Laundry in the washing machine, lights kept turning the power off. 1 toilet upstairs, then outside and down stairs to 2nd toilet- which I didnā€™t quite understand from the property description. So many throw cushions and blankets (no one uses these) so these just piled up in every corner (bc the cupboards were full of storage or animal droppings) Needs a de-clutter and a spring clean.

Cosy with a great view

A great space for 8 of us including a 3 week old baby, the space down stairs was perfect for the little one. The view was beautiful, so tranquil to watch the waves come onto shore. The fireplace was a great spot to gather around in the evening after a day of adventuring.

Perfect for group of friends

Our group of ten mates have an annual getaway which we always look forward to. The house was perfect. Beautiful views overlooking the beach, 2mins walk into the town, and a well-equipped house with seperate downstairs lounge area that has pool table and big TV.

Wonderful location and superb view - very well appointed

Older style property but it was very cosy and warm with a wonderful view. Only fault was one bathroom upstairs for all the bedrooms. The family/games room is not accessible from upstairs which was only a problem because we had a toddler who was in bed upstairs.

Brilliant house to rent

Fabulous house

This house was absolutely gorgeous. Better than the photos. Excellent location. All amenities were great. Comfortable and homely with fabulous views. I would recommend this house to anyone and hopefully will come back again!

The property is in a fabulous location

Fabulous location just up the hill from Movida restaurant and a hop, skip and jump from the beach. The property was great for two families with the kids loving the pool table downstairs. The kitchen had heaps of platters, pots and cooking utensils. Overall the property was a bit dusty and quite a few cobwebs were in the downstairs rumpus room. The property was also extremely dark inside, even with the lights on. The lights in the kitchen area flickered on and off quite a bit and would sometimes completely fade in and out. The view from the kitchen area is great and looks over the Lorne front beach.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay as it was comfortable and the room down stairs is very good for entertainment. Their were a lot of comfortable seats to sut and look at the stunning views. The only things that were a problem was that the house itself was very dark and the downstairs isnt connected to the rest of the house. But other than that it was a great place to stay and would highly recommend it.

Great old school beach house, amazing views. Clean, well renovated bathrooms. Perfect for 2 families with a huge games area downstairs. Short walk down the hill to the beach, pub, shops. Highly recommended and good value for money.

Fantastic Location

We booked the house as a group of adults for a cycling weekend. View was fantastic from the balcony and could have sat there all weekend! Location was perfect for being in the hub of activity but far enough away you didn't get disturbed by the noise. There was plenty of crockery, cutlery and an huge assortment of platters etc for group catering. My only criticism would be that I wasn't aware you could not get to the downstairs room from inside the house. You had to go out and down the outside to access the bunk room. This house would also suit 2 families as it had two "master" bedrooms and two areas for kids to sleep.
