Everything about this place was great, but the best of all was the view, enjoyed in all weathers around the cosy fire.

Superb house, we had such a lovely time! But please fix the fridge that beeps every time you open it. Also, It took us a few days to find the cupboard with the vacuum cleaner, consider marking the cupboard or mention where it is on the Wi-Fi information sheet or check-in information. Thanks so much for a fantastic stay!!!

Very spacious and clean. Well equiped kitchen. Beautiful panoramic ocean views. Walking distance to the shops but a significantly steep road to get back up to the property (totally fine for us but may require driving rather than walking for those less mobile). Host Jack was lovely to deal with and very responsive. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Perfect for a family holiday

We had a wonderful stay at Wye Solace. A great house with lots of space and comfort for a family holiday. We loved the location, the view, the spacious deck, and everything the house had to offer. We even spotted koalas in the nearby trees. Thank you!

Great communication with the host. The house was spotlessly clean. It’s an amazing house with incredible views of the ocean and a sensible layout. The appliances were high quality and the location was stunning. We saw kangaroos, king parrots, cockatoos and crimson rosellas all from the huge deck. We’d love to stay there again but next time for a bit longer.

Great house

Large house, really good view and very good amenities in the house. We had some rain whilst we were there, so the garage was amazing for getting kids/stuff out of car.

Wye Solace " Regional Excellence"

Superb ocean view location, well appointed and maintained property. A remarkable experience, amplified by extraordinary weather, surf and local choice of cuisine. A big thanks to the property management team for making our stay so easy. Looking forward to our return in 2024!

Wedding Weekend

Our family stayed in this beautiful home for our son’s wedding weekend at Wye River. The house was beautiful, wonderful views and easily accommodated our grown family of four children and parents. The groom and groomsmen used the house for pre wedding dressing and preparation and it was perfect.

Stunning!

Very comfortable house worked perfectly for our family Christmas. The views are stunning and it was a great place to reconnect. I had read other comments on a lack of amenities but we found the house well stocked with kitchen supplies. Jack was a great host and was very accommodating when it took us a bit longer to check out which I was very grateful for. We loved it.

Very enjoyable stay

The family stayed here for a weekend. Could not fault anything. Only issue was getting check in information. Not a real issue as we received it on the day we arrived. Would have felt more comfortable if we knew the day before. Stunning property with a magnificent view.

Beautiful family home with amazing views

The house is in a beautiful location, high up over Wye River, with most rooms having ocean views and some even having access to the huge terrace. Well equipped and maintained with everything you might need for a family holiday, from outdoor shower to games and books and a great BBQ on the terrace.Only slight problem is that you can’t access the property without climbing some stairs or steps. We are sure to return

Easter at Wye Solace

Beautiful house in a superb location - peaceful and private, stunning views, walking distance to beach, general store and hotel. The house was very spacious, clean and well equipped - perfect for a multigeneration family holiday. If you like hiking there is a fantastic bush walk that starts almost opposite the driveway and takes you through to Kennett River. Excellent communication with host, all instructions clear, offered a late checkout. Cant wait for an opportunity to rebook!
