Nice apartment, convenient and comfortable.

This apartment was ideal for our stay. Located near the Marmalade District and so close to the Capital and downtown, it allowed us to walk, run and drive around the city with ease. It was great to have a kitchen and washer and dryer.

WONDERFUL stay!!!

Five stars here!!! First time in SLC… Check in was easy and place was just as shown… Spotless…. Bed was nice, not all worn out like at other places we’ve stayed… Everything was provided, even down to coffee pods and extra pillows and blankets… The Guest Guide was a great help in figuring out where / how… Looking forward to staying here again on our return next year!

Could be better

Before I even checked in I had a sour taste in my mouth as I messaged the host Joe at 2:45 and asked if It was okay to check in a hour early at 3:00 PM. He replied promptly and said their would be a $30 charge to check in a hour early which I think is absurd! He said that he would have to change the cleaners schedule lol….mind you it was 2:45 and I was asking to check in at 3:00 PM. First time using VRBO but use their competitors frequently and NEVER been charged for early check in. Felt like a shakedown. Your guest just made a 12 hour drive…let them check in a little early. I also didn’t appreciate a random 9 digit door code that I had to go to my phone to get every time we came back. Never before have I had a rental with a code that was either easy to remember or able to customize myself. Neighborhood was just okay. Saw some homeless walking through the neighborhood. Was worried my vehicle would be broken into but all went fine with that. Is a short distance from downtown SLC. I won’t stay here again when I return to SLC!

Staycation in the City

We wanted to get away from our lives for awhile, but needed to stay close to my work in the city, so this was a great solution for us. The property was in an older neighborhood with easy access from the freeway and very close to the city center, bus routes, and (if the weather had been better) very walkable. The inside of the property was beautiful. I was worried that the pictures were staged, but they were exactly as promised. We enjoyed our time "staying in" cooking ourselves breakfast in the well-appointed kitchen, reading by the fire, Netflix and chill, and going out to a few of the local amazing eating establishments for dinner. We had a guest join us one evening, and the extra bed and bedding was easy to find and a nice touch for our friend. We would stay here again.

Cozy and Comfortable

Beautiful place , Great location walkable to restaurants, capital building and many other spots of interest. Very comfortable bed and nice kitchen. A few issues with internet but owner was very quick to respond and promised to take care of it .

Didn't want to leave!

The apartment was easy to find and open. Sparkling clean, fresh decor. We were pleased that it was a fully-equiped rental. Lovely area and close to the Capital and downtown. Quiet. Apartment was immaculate and great neighborhood. Would move in if I could gorgeous decor close to everything. Quiet beautiful neighborhood. Plenty of parking and awesome patio and deck to relax outside. Highly recommend. Will be back whenever possible. A steal for the value.

Clean space, watch closely for mischarges

Clean little place, perfect for what we needed. This one charges a security deposit, which is refundable if the property is left as it should be, no problem other than its quite an amount and refundable two weeks after your stay. I paid the nights stay and deposit amount together, check my bank, and they charged me another separate security deposit. The host said it had something to do with the new system their using. So double in security deposit plus the nights stay, the refundable deposit has still not been refunded and its been two weeks. Mistakes happen but thats a lot of money for some. They released the hold of the mistake charge two days after I contacted them about it. It is a nice place but make sure to watch your statements.

Beautiful little spot!

Really nice place with everything you need. Close to downtown yet quiet with a really beautiful view of the hillside behind you. Nicely decorated, great fireplace! And spacious.

Even better than last time!

This place is so comfortable and looks to be updated again with a few touches. It’s so clean and perfect! There are little touches like the filtered water, the Keurig and pods and the laundry pods! It’s so appreciated! Whenever we are in SLC, this is our choice to stay! It’s a nice, quick drive to the airport too! Oh and we love California Burger & Deli within 5 minute walking distance. The Bulgogi bowl (with chicken) is amazing!

Clean quiet apartment as described.

Was a great property for 2 retirees. Minimal steps to get inside apartment and then everything on one level. Quiet neighborhood close to freeway, restaurants and shops. Very clean. We highly recommend.

Very comfortable and clean!

The rental is very comfortable and clean. The check in process was seamless and managers responded quickly to messages. Several walkable coffee shops. It was helpful to have a car for access to downtown restaurants and shops, as well as any hikes.

Perfect Lil Gem in SLC

Husband and I were in town for a fitness convention and elected to do a VRBO instead of a local hotel. So glad we did! This place was clean, quiet and very inviting! Owners were on top of emails from booking to check-in! Home included a Welcome Binder with answers to any questions we might have had and suggestions for local hot spots to visit! Definitely recommend this lil gem to anyone visiting the area!

Nice and...

This is a lovely place in a great spot. We loved the look and the spaciousness. However, the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes, the kitchen towels were stained and old, and the fridge exterior was very grimy looking. Also, despite an extra cleaning fee, we had to run the dishwasher (ours and the previous tenant's), strip the beds, get all the linens into the washer and start it, and take out the trash and recycle. When we got everything clean, we found there were only three forks and three wine glasses. We like VRBOs because they are homey and a kitchen is more flexible, but not if it's not stocked. When I told the company halfway through our stay, they said they would fix it for the next tenant. Sigh. Great close coffee shops in all directions!

Would shower, sleep and do laundry here again.

We started our trip in Zion and traveled across southern Utah to numerous state and national parks. We ended our trip here - in Salt Lake!! It is about 3.5 hours from Moab and in all a nice drive up. We loved the location of this property. Basically within walking distance to all downtown (so long as you don’t mind walking). State street was about a 2 mile walk and we enjoyed the walk very much. To be honest, the biggest selling factor when we booked this property was the proximity to the airport and the washer and dryer!! It is about 10 mins from SLC airport and we got all of our vacation laundry clean before returning home. Talk about a relief! The property is absolutely beautiful and has everything you will need… they even had laundry pods and dryer sheets already there!! Talk about another selling factor. Finally, after our long trip it was great to sleep in the large, comfy bed. We are big on getting a good night sleep on vacation. Who wants to walk around or ride on an airplane with neck pain? No one! Not a problem here. If we are ever in SLC again, we would stay here again - 1000x yes.

My stay was great! House was perfect!

My stay was great! The house was super clean, nicely decorated without the clutter, comfy bed and living room, safe neighborhood with a coffee place across the street. Loved walking around the Capitol and through City Creek Canyon. The owner (or maybe Joe was the manager) was very responsive. I asked him lots of questions and he got back to me right away with all the answers. I will stay here again for sure! Thanks for a good stay, Joe.

Our favorite Salt Lake City place

We've taken multiple trips to SLC this last year to visit our son at the University of Utah, and this place is, hands-down, our favorite place to stay. The location is close to everything. The neighborhood is quiet. The off-street parking is steps from the front door, and keeps our rental car nice and safe. The kitchen is well-stocked. We especially love the bagel-friendly toaster and tea kettle that make breakfast a breeze.
