Great Property for adult family

This property was excellent for group that require multiple on-suite bedrooms. Each bed room comes with a King bed - no twins. The only reason I rated this property a 4 instead of a 5 were the towels provided for the bathrooms and pool. They were very poor quality, which detracked from the property.

Great Place to Stay!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the entire experience of staying in this home with Margaritaville! We never really had to leave the resort area. Our home was clean and had everything we needed for our stay! This house is close to the resort pool with only a short walk. The pool alarm at the house was annoying but we understood the reasoning so we just had to deal with it. Would definitely stay here again!

Location was great

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The resort is very nice even though it was difficult to get a lounge available. Had to search for two together The location of the cottage we rented was ideal The cottage was quite nice but certainly had some disadvantages for older people There were two flights of stairs and the main floor bedroom was small and a very tiny bathroom with no tub. The bedrooms upstairs were wonderful. And spacious The dishwasher leaked all over the floor. We reported it first day and they brought us towels to put in front when we put it in. No one repaired. The floors in the cottage were so dirty that our feet were black. Also the tvs were difficult to turn in. The one in bedroom never did work properly.

if anyone wants to go outside, the pool alarm beeps. Even if you press the button like the directions say to. It’s extremely loud and the infants with us didn’t nap. The smell of the cleaner they used was very strong and gave me a headache all weekend. The main pool was fun and had good food.

Drunken Parrot review

Place was as advertised with ample beds and baths for the whole crowd. Kitchen well appointed and we loved sitting by the pool and hot tub at the end of the day. The buzzer took some getting used to but we figured it out (appreciate the safety of it). For an even more enjoyable stay, it would have been nice to have access to a skimmer for the pool (filter/pump was not working well). Also the kitchen could have had a couple more basic items like sugar packets and foil/plastic wrap. We walked around the resort some and liked the pool areas. We never took advantage however as we stayed at our own private pool! Would definitely consider coming back.

Nice home!

Home was clean and in overall good condition. Nice lake views from the balconies. Can’t beat the location - shopping, dining and some activities within walking distance. Check in was quick and easy and prompt responses to any questions. Only have 2 small complaints - 1. The button near the back French doors to disarm the pool alarm wasn’t working so any time we went out the door to the pool, we had to listen to that obnoxious noise. 2. There’s a cute little Margaritaville themed bar stand out by the pool. One of us just put our foot on the foot rest on the bottom of the bar stool and it snapped right off - the wood is dry rotted. The management company was notified of these issues when we checked out. Other than those minor things, we very much enjoyed staying in this house!

Loved the pool and hot tub in the back.Would have been nice if there were a few spices to use, such as salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, etc. things that wouldn’t expire. Need better explanation on how to use tv in gathering room. We had to call maintenance for help. They got it working. The tv’s in the bedrooms all worked fine.

The only issue I had was when I arrived on Saturday the pool was not cleaned and I had to wait until Monday at 4pm for HOA person to come and clean it. Pool should be cleaned when new rental comes.

Great property, bad experience

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great property but the master suite had no electricity for the entire stay. Multiple visits from onsite maintenance determined it required more work to fix. While the property management offered to move us to another location, it was past 8pm, raining, and we had 12 people to move. Food was in the oven to feed said 12 people. These things happen but the handling of the situation and the attitude of the property management representatives made this a no-go for us in the future. We’d stayed at this resort before but booked that villa/cottage via another company with no issues. We will opt to return using the other company, not this one.

Good size for two families, with almost everything we needed for our stay, but there were deferred maintenance issues: the living room TV was broke, and maintenance said it will be until the owner decides to replace it. The ice machine was also broke which was a bummer. The dryer we thought was broke, but you just have to slam the door shut very hard to get it to start. The pool area was a bonus, but there wasn’t a skimmer for us to clean it up and it got very dirty after a storm rolled through. Great value and place other than those minor issues.

Bad Experience

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hot tub had no hot water. No pool net to clean pool. Outside Pool alarm didn't work. Ice maker didn't work. Pool towels were small bath towels. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, not enough for 10 people for a week. No pot holders or kitchen towels. Only 2 tall kitchen garbage bags had to use grocery bags for trash. Washer only had one packet of detergent. Child wet the bed and was going to wash the bedding but it didn't fit in the washer. Asked for additional bedding and was told no. Requested the hot tub be repaired and they said your on a wait list. Said they couldn't fix the pool alarm problem. They couldn't fix anything. The management rep was rude and talked over me when I tried to comment. I have never before rented a vacation home with so many issues. All other rentals would have enough toilet paper/paper towels/ kitchen supplies or would provide additional if requested. Do not rent from them.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was disappointed with the house I expected that, for the amount paid the house would be very luxurious which it was not. The towels were very thin and small. The duvets were cheap looking with no covers. There was no iron in the property. The dishwasher was full of sludge and broken glass when we arrived and took over 24 hours for someone to come out so we tried to clean it out without success After a visit from maintenance the dishwasher leaked and we had to call maintenance back and again a long wait. We could not get the TV in the lounge to connect to the internet so called maintenance. The lady came swiftly but told us that this TV was not able to connect and the owners had been told but said they were not prepared to change the TV. As this was the only TV where we could all sit together to watch a film we were very disappointed. The lounge was quite dark and so we had to have the lights on all of the time. There was a surround sound system which also did not work. There was a pole by the pool but no net head on the pole so we could not remove insects from the pool. I do not give adverse reviews without a lot of thought but considering what we paid I feel justified in giving a bad review I certainly would not go back there

It was Ok

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was clean and comfortable but there were little issues. The remotes were missing the back piece so the batteries were constantly falling out. The tv in the living isn’t connected to internet and we (5 young adults) couldn’t get the cable to come on. We had to call maintenance and it took that guy 10 minutes to get it on. The normal pool alarm was broken so they’ve installed a temporary one. The temporary one is very annoying. It goes off the entire time you have a back door open. The normal alarm in other houses I’ve stayed in have a button to push to mute the alarm for a few seconds while you walk in and out. We had a baby in the house so we couldn’t open the back door at all when she was sleeping because the loud alarm would wake her. It’s very disruptive and had it been disclosed I would have chosen at different house.
