Snowbirds Rest @ Sandy Ridge er vores nyrenoverede fire (4) soveværelse, tre (3) badeværelser (inkluderer 3 fulde bade) bungalow beliggende på det prestigefyldte samfund Sandy Ridge. Indretningen er moderne, behagelig og behagelig for øjet.

Snowbirds Rest @ Sandy Ridge's signaturfunktion er den overdimensionerede opvarmede pool med udsigt over en stor fredelig dam PLUS et Star Wars-tema-spillerum. Spillelokalet indeholder et poolbord, ping pong og fodboldbord i timevis med ekstra underholdning. Nyd at se solen stige, mens du nipper til din kaffe under den overdækkede gårdhave. Alternativt kan du snige dig i en afslappende svømmetur natten efter at børnene er gået i søvn - vores pool er oplyst om natten.

Der er 2 soveværelser med hver deres eget komplette en-suite og 32 'LED HDTV'er. De andre 2 soveværelser har 2 enkeltsenge.

Den åbne konceptvilla inkluderer en kombineret stue og spisestue. Det fuldt udstyrede køkken, hyggelig familieværelse og morgenmadskrog fuldender beboelsesområdet ved at give en behagelig indstilling til at dekomprimere fra dagens begivenheder.

Bungalowen ligger cirka 35 minutter vest for Orlando International Airport. Fra bungalowen er din familie blot 10 minutters motorvejskørsel (kun 1 trafiklys) væk fra Disney World-indgangen. Bungalowen ligger 1 time væk fra Tampa (Golfkysten) og 1. 25 timer væk fra Cocoa Beach (Atlantic Coast).

Det omkringliggende område inkluderer Target og 24 hr Walmart inden for 10 minutters kørsel. Der er et Publix supermarked inden for 2 minutters kørsel. Premium Outlets i kun 20 minutters motorvejskørsel.

Great value and location

We enjoyed our time very much! The pool area and outdoor space was wonderful for meals and relaxing. The garage space was lots of fun. We had plenty of space for our family- would be a good place for more than one family at a time!

Awesome Beautiful Home

We stayed at this place for seven days, and my family cannot stop talking about how amazing it is. Close to parks and businesses. Will return and recommend to families with children and teenagers.

Disney World

I took my children to disney world for spring break and we stayed in this amazing vacation property! Between the game room and the heated pool, I'm not which one my family enjoyed better! The property offers everything you will need to have an amazing stay. I would 100% book again

Nice place that need little upgrades

Over pleased with the home and provided everything that was promised. I do think there is a need of some bathroom updates and more area rugs. I do recommend this place great for the kids

Beautiful home away from home

Stayed in this home for 2 weeks during April 2015 . It is a very spacious and comfortable home . The beds were very comfortable and that's an importabt thing. Home was clean . Only issue we had that didn't get resolved during our stay was the pool light didn't work . I would definitely stay here again . Absolutely love the area ! Check it out I'm sure you will agree :)

Handy for Disney

Lovely house in a great location - especially if you’re going to Disney! Only 20 mins - traffic dependent! House is basic - no frills or extras. Although we had problems with the pool heating (which is being refunded) and the front door, communication with the owner and property manager was excellent.

Amazing spacious house! Will stay again!

Amazing house! This was the perfect place to stay to get away from the excitement of Disney! Quiet neighbourhood to relax and enjoy the great pool. The house was very well laid out and spacious, and the beds were very comfortable! I am a bit extreme when it comes to cleanliness and am happy to say that this house was very clean! The owners were great to deal with. They responded in a very timely manner and were very helpful answering many questions we had. We will definitely recommend this property to others and can't wait to stay there again! Thanks again!

Great location. Nice house- great amenities- minor things…..the information in the binder vs the information in the house were contradicting. Binder still have covid restrictions. Main tv troubleshooting was outdated. Other wise- 100%perfect.

Family Vacation

House was clean, pool area was great. The house wasn’t as stocked as stated in the description. Game room was hot due to it being in the garage, (fan doesn’t work, remote was broken and missing batteries) the games were missing some pieces Over all the house is in a great location and we had a great time (For future guests, bring a fire stick for one of the bedrooms, it’s just a TV with no cable and extra dishes/wine/drinking glasses if you have a big family, kitchen isn’t stocked much)

Guests are encouraged to contact our property manager should issues arise (low on battery, items not working, etc). The home is equipped for 8 people - there are items provided to accommodate, and extra plates/bowls, etc are stored on the higher kitchen shelves, above the “everyday” items. There are 3 smart TVs in the home, 2 have cable and 1 has “streaming” capabilities.

Good for the price!

Lots of ants around outside patio / pool area. It was hot at times in the house as you couldn’t change the thermostat below 73. It is very spacious and the pond was an added bonus. Overall it was nice for the price. Game room was cool but Very hot in garage where the games were, even with garage door open. Muggy with a lot of flies in it. Lots of stores wicked nearby, which was great and convenient!

Cute but needs work

Nice house. Needs lots of updates. Furniture needs updating and repairs. Game room was a disappointment. All the games minus the pool table are in desperate need of replacement and falling apart. The thermostat states not to be put below a set number but is set and controlled by a system.

Guests are always encouraged to contact property manager if things arise during stay so that it can be addressed right away. Unfortunately, we cannot make it right if we are not aware… Findings at post-checkout: one side of table tennis net is ripped at the top so the net isn’t as taut and a nut had come out of one of the leg supports - this has now been fixed. The thermostat is preset but it can always be manually adjusted if necessary.

Great getaway

The home is located about 20 minutes from Disney and 25 from Universal (factoring in traffic). Not a bad commute. The home itself is in a decent subdivision, and is clean and well laid out. The game room in the garage can get a bit toasty, but is a lot of fun and a good way to wind down from the day. The pool is a good size and the view of the pond is soothing, much better than looking into someone else's back door! There was a 4 foot alligator in residence at the pond, so keep an eye on little ones. The kitchen was decently stocked with pots/pans, mixing bowls and utinsels. Other than small containers of salt and pepper, there were no other staples like oil, etc. Make sure to stock up on paper products and things like soap: but a trip to Publix is only a couple of miles a way. Over all a very nice place!

We don't keep a supply of staples like paper goods, detergents, etc as we have found that not all guests like what is provided and prefer to have their own personal choice of items like that to use. Not happy with that

The house is not clean, some rooms is duty, in the furniture a lot dusty , the dryer machine make a lotttttt noises , no have any supply’s like , dish soap , trash bags , body wash , we stay 9 days , the towers is too old , the bathrooms rugs is to duty , and we need wash and dry the sheets before living but we left 2:30am , how we make this ? We pay for the pool heat and never get , still wailing for money back , but the space is good and location is good ,I hope the next guest being our supplier

We are sorry to see this. We strive to provide exceptional customer service however if we are not aware of issues, we cannot address them. We provide basic items (ie. dish detergent, sponge, toilet paper, hand soap, etc) however, unlike a traditional hotel, guests who stay for a longer period of time do bring along their own supplies. It was never reported to us that guests found rooms or furniture dirty - if we had known, this would have been addressed immediately. The pool heat was reported to have been an issue and we did refund the guests. Guests did not report to us that the dryer was making noise that bothered them. We have since discovered that there was an issue. UPDATE: dryer has been replaced.

No more Sandy ridge

The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was no sun protection on the terrace and it was sunny until midday. There were no sunbeds, just 2 plastic chairs with the seat slanting backwards! In response to a complaint, the owner replied that if we wanted something extra, we would have to pay $80 for 12 days. We would not book this unfriendly house again. The dryer was unnaturally loud, tenants before us complained about this and it was not repaired. The comment was that you should go shopping or to the pool during this time. However, you could also hear the dryer by the pool. The lake is drying up more and more every day and is no longer a pretty sight.

We are sad to hear guests were not 100% satisfied. Any issues brought to our attention are taken seriously and dealt with immediately by the property manager or owner. We understand guests are on vacation and we will do our best to accommodate. The pool deck area has a lanai which helps provide shade during certain parts of the day. There is an outdoor table with chairs plus 2 Adirondack/Muskoka chairs for guests in the pool area. For additional items guests wish to have, it is possible to rent them (additional fee applies). The dryer was admittedly making noise and we did reach out to ask if we can send someone in, keeping in mind it may inconvenience the guests however we never received a response. UPDATE: the dryer has since been replaced. As for the lake drying up…unfortunately, this is beyond our control as Florida was experiencing a draught. We hope this helps

Loved the house

We loved this house, the pool was a huge hit with all my kids. They really spent a lot of time in there. Very clean house, and I loved the availability of towels! One thing I cant say enough is to read the guest book on the coffee table. You need to know a few things that are not told to you! The pond view was amazing, it was super easy to find the house, the neighborhood was quiet, and friendly. It did get hot at night when sleeping so you may want to turn down the thermostat a few notches before bed. Not problem there. My only complaint was messaging owner I felt like the response I got was a tad rude, or "per my last emailish". When it said grill can be rented i assumed from them it was from a rental place. Not a big deal i was confused on that so now i know. I did love my stay and really hated going back home. If we travel to the area again We would stay in this home again!

Fair for the price, but extensive house rules

Owner requires that you start your own load of laundry of used sheets/ towels upon leaving. Please bring your own dish soap, laundry soap, garbage bags, and hand soap as tiny 1 inch soaps are all that are provided (we left excess of all three upon leaving)... Towels smelled of mildew (as i presume last renters were the ones washing them). You are also not permitted to keep thermostat lower than 74 degrees at any time. We saw roaches crawling out of dishwasher when we washed all dishes used during our stay (also required by property management)... not a bad location but in our opinion, too many rules/requirements for renters who are on vacation and expect to not be doing home maintenance while relaxing.

We ask guests to refrain from turning the thermostat below 74* as that will prevent the pipes from freezing...if the pipes freeze, it will result in no AC for our guests which would be a bigger problem in and of itself in the hot Florida heat. As for loading the dishes and/or the bedding and towels for a wash cycle - this is not a requirement. We simply suggest that if guests had time to help with that, it would be a nice gesture rather than leaving a big mess for the cleaning crew. We schedule pest control on a monthly basis as bugs in Florida are unavoidable.

Lots of good but lots of not so good

Firstly, the location is great for Disney, it’s on a nice estate and the house itself backs onto a really nice pond. AC and wifi work very well. However, the house is well used and needs a lot of maintenance work. The lanai gate at the back is broken and constantly came open letting bugs into the pool area, kettle didn’t work within a day of arrival. There’s an issue with ants inside and outside (I know it’s Florida but never had this issue in rented houses before) and most of all, we ended up locked out one night when the battery on the door lock gave up and we couldn’t get in. Maintenance sorted this and I suppose we could have reported the rest of the issues but who wants to do this or has time to do this whilst on holiday?

It is unfortunately that reports were not made immediately to our property managers as that is the quickest and best way to get things sorted out right away. Sorry to hear about the door lock/battery failure but happy to hear maintenance sorted this out for you.

Universal Vacation

Had a few bumps with property management but owners helped and got everything taken care of. Kids loved having a pool to swim in even though we didn’t have a lot of down time. Property is around 30 mins from Universal and you can google to stay off toll roads.

Graduation Trip

We stayed here with our son who just graduated high school. It was a perfect house for us! We had one side while my son was able to get his space after a full day of family time. (teenagers get that way!) We loved the pool and spent almost every night just talking and floating. The pool table and ping pond table in the garage were put to good use as well. The location was perfect. Grocery stores, restaurants, attractions are just a quick drive away. I think I longest drive was Kennedy Space Center with was a little over an hour. All in all, we were very happy and really enjoyed our stay! Things to note: Bring a bar of soap for each bathroom, the ones provided aren't very good. As they mention, bring bath tissue and paper towels. If you are going to do laundry (great machines), you will need detergent. We were there in 95 degree days, it stayed nice and cool. We did not need to adjust the thermostat to where they had it. The ceiling fans do their job well.
