Lovely apartment

We are 2 50+yo adults + 86yo mother/MIL. The apartment was perfect for us. Great location with easy walking along breakwall and within town centre. Quiet location. Lovely views. Spacious with 2 bathrooms. Note MIL stayed in room with single beds as this was facing balcony and easiest access to the 2nd bathroom. But it does share a wall with neighbours so does depend on the noise of the neighbours. The living space was spacious, the kitchen was very well equipped with appliances, dishes and cooking items (eg bowl for microwave etc). 2 car parking spaces provided which meant we didn't need to squeeze the car. wifi excellent. All up lovely and good value for the quality. One thing to check is the main door lock as it did not lock properly. With the lock enabled, it slams shut but is not locked. You can easily push the door open as the latch doesn't catch. You really need to pull the door tight for a little bit of the latch to catch sufficiently to lock. However, we only discovered this by accident because the door otherwise looks closed. This has been reported for urgent attention, so I would expect this to be fixed before next person staying but make sure you check.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: On the top floor on level 9 the views are superb from windows and balconies. Inside the apartment was nice but not very clean. Found bringing own linen was a hassle.

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed 3 times in this apartment this year and although the rates are reasonable for the location and the fact that linen and towels are not supplied we have found the apartment is very tired and needs a good spring clean. The toaster is rusty and didn't work during the last stay, we take our own placemats as those in the kitchen drawer are dirty and the range hood is covered in grease. The bulb fittings in the bedside lamps in the main bedroom are caked in dust and no spare garbage bags are supplied. The garbage bins in the kitchen when we arrived for our second stay had not been washed out properly and there was food all over the inside of the lid.The carpets are dirty as are the lounges which are old and uncomfortable.My wife was not well when we arrived for the last stay and was hoping for some peace and quiet to rest Unfortunately the first day power tools were being used in the apartment below and the vibration and noise was unbearable. We know that people are entitled to renovate but it would have been nice to have been informed beforehand. We only stayed for 3 nights out of the 7 we had paid for. We won't be back.

Loved being in the heart of Port Macquarie

No complaints about anything at all.

Perfect Holiday Apartment in the Heart of Port Macquarie

Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful holiday break for summer in this lovely apartment right in the centre of town and with great ocean views from the balcony. The apartment was spacious and comfortable for our family of 5 and we made good use of the pool and BBQ facilities as well. Wiseberry staff were helpful and courteous throughout the process despite a minor hiccough in the booking process which was not their fault, and overall we would highly recommend this property for other families to enjoy a relaxed holiday.

However disappointed with number of eating options open for business. So many restaurants closed during peak season. Found Port Mac almost impossible to get a dinner booking. Great weather, happy with unit and booing of same, but the town doesn’t want the tourists or the work. We wouldn’t return because it was just too hard to get dinner!

Sad Holiday

we arrived ready for fun .. day 3 we all got Covid .. had to come home 4 days early .. I saved all year for this holiday . my husband has Dementia and I was so excited to get away . No refund they said .. an email told me I broke the Contract .. Heartbroken .. Now I will have to start over to save .. sad .. it wasnt our fault we got Covid .. guess I will have to wait another year ...

Absolutely fantastic time

We have stayed at this apartment building before and I can’t rate it enough! A+ accommodation with everything you possibly need, absolutely spotless and straight forward arrangements through Stayz and the real estate that were of care of the apartment. So many things to do at port Macquarie, never boring. The views are sublime overlooking the ocean and the caravan park. Thank you again ☺️☺️

Excellent spot

Fantastic , secure unit with great views. Fabulous location - coffee shops within a stones throw of building entrance and easy level walk to town , Port Central. Look forward to popping back again !!

Ideal location close to town .

Great location with lots of places to go for walks and close to shops and restaurants. The only negative was the weird noises coming through the ceiling and walls (we were on the top floor ) .

Great Location and Views

Property was as described in listing. Easy walk to beach and all of the CBD, as well as clubs and pubs. Views from the balcony were great.
