Vasse Easter Break

Nice big house, very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Minimal yard but parks and playgrounds close by. Poor internet connection and no wifi provided unfortunately otherwise very good place to stay

The house was a great size and set up well. Didn't think it would matter but clearly it did for us - having no back yard. We thought being winter it wouldn't matter as much but it did. Other than the little nook to sit in it was lacking in that aspect. Also the mold in the primary bathroom/on suite was not appealing and also more important not ideal for people with health conditions. So that was a big negative for us. My daughter is an auditor with the Health Department and was horrified that this house is offered for rent to holiday makers with mold in the house. You or the host should have made us aware of this. We would not have stayed here if we knew about the mold.

I'm sorry to hear the lack of an enclosed backyard impacted your stay more than you had anticipated. While the property listing and photos accurately reflect the outdoor areas, I appreciate that it wasn't quite what you were hoping for. In regard to the mould in the ensuite, I sincerely apologise for your concerns. We take reports like this very seriously. The affected area has been treated with a vinegar solution, which is an effective method of killing mould spores. The marks that remain are cosmetic staining rather than active mould growth. We understand that the appearance is still not ideal, and we are currently working with the property owner to have the cosmetic staining rectified as soon as possible. Prior to your stay, we had not received any reports that indicated there was an active mould issue requiring attention. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. Guest comfort and safety are very important to us, and your feedback has helped ensure the issue is addressed promptly.

Relaxing family break

This property was conveniently located to shops and a short drive to Busselton, Dunsborough and Margaret River. 5 minute drive to the beach. The house had everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable and relaxing. We will definitely stay there again and recommend the property to family and friends.

Looks can be deceiving

On first arrival at the property, it was hard to see which house was ours, as there is no exact number clearly marked on the street front that correlates with the address provided at booking. There was also a car already parked in the driveway of someone who appears to live in an attached granny flat with private access. There was a child's bike on the front lawn also not belonging to our group. Once inside the house presents nicely at first glance however it quickly became apparent that the house had barely been cleaned. There were food crumbs in almost every room, bedrooms included, sticky substances on the coffee table and kitchen bench, hair in sheets and showers and a large brown spill in the bottom of the freezer. The kitchen floors had multiple stains and marks and looked like it hadn't been vacuumed, let alone mopped for some time. Unfortunately would not recommend this property.
