About this property

The Black Shack Quindalup a brand new Hamptons style designer home on the beach

This home is located directly opposite Geographe Bay where the ocean is pristine and calm with beautiful white sand, ideal for children. We are close enough to Dunsborough township (3km) for great cafes, fashion and gift stores but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of a beachside holiday.

The Black Shack is two story.

UPSTAIRS: there is two master bedrooms with new comfy King size beds, full length mirrors, bedside tables, built in robes, chair, reverse cycle air conditioning and french doors leading onto the balcony.
There is a massive bathroom with dual sinks, deep designer bath and generous walk in shower with separate powder room.

DOWNSTAIRS: we have a third bedroom with two king size single beds, chest of draws and built in robes. There is a rumpus room at the back of the house with a TV and Netflix, two queen sized sofa beds and books and games to enjoy. The living area is at the front of the house comprising of Designer kitchen with huge upright stove, gas hotplate, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, extra large toaster, kettle, rice cooker, sandwich press and everything you will need to run a kitchen and dine for up to 10 people. We supply coffee, tea, sugar, cereal and milk more than enough for your first day or two. There is a TV with Netflix a wood fire, air conditioner, super comfy sofa and chairs with dining for 8 guests. The laundry has front loader washer, separate dryer iron and ironing board and clothes line just outside the laundry door.

OUTSIDE:The front verandah offers a shady spot to chill and we have a extra large pergola area with table and chairs for up to 10 with a BBQ and equipment. The front has a self closing gate and 1.5 metre high fence to keep the children safe.
We supply all bedlinen, towels for up to 8 people.
There is an outside hot & cold shower.
There is off street parking for up to 3 cars.
We supply free wifi.
There is a shady bike/pedestrian path out the front which runs along the edge of the bay.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

3rd time we have stayed there and loved it! You might want to remind guests to lock their car doors because one of ours was unlocked and had a laptop stolen out of it.

Perfect Escape

What a gorgeous space to enjoy a trip away with friends! The home is spacious, clean, well appointed and set out so well for families with children. The location was terrific as it felt far enough away yet still just a short drive or bike ride into Dunsborough. We loved the cycle paths and beach access straight across the road. We would love to visit again!

Nice location...cleaning needs improvement

Its a very a very house at a central location (5 mins to town). Host was very responsive as well. Check in was easy. 2 x parking spots outside the house. I booked the place because I liked the balcony but sadly we couldn't use the balcony as it just way too dirty. I can see that the balcony was never used, table and chairs and the decking were covered by dust and spider web..so can't even get a nice photo of it. The inside of the house was not clean too.. I spent the first hour in the house wiping down surfaces. There were food crumb on the dishes, and dust on glasses. We also found crocaches in the house.... I can tell the house is not very well maintained and some of the door locks (bedroom, bathroom) can't lock.

Perfect summer holiday house

We had an amazing time again at this perfect summer holiday house. The location the shortest of walks to the beach, and the wonderful layout of the house, make for a great stay. We hope the house is maintained into the future so that we can keep coming back for the same experience. Thanks again.

This house was amazing and perfect for getting ready in. Myself and my 3 bridesmaids got ready at this house and the photos turned out amazing. Also helped with having aircon as it was very hot! Loved our stay!

Amazing!

I have only positive things to say about our stay. The house was perfect and so accommodating. Everything you needed for a comfortable stay was provided such as toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc. The pantry and was even stocked! There were plenty of games for the kids to play and were kept entertained in the huge back room while the adult could relax in the living room. The house was spotless and was definitely a home away from home. A highlight was how close the beach was to the front door. A 1-2 minute walk and you are there! We will definitely be staying again!

Hampton’s Happiness

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen and roaring fireplace. It is the first home we’ve really enjoyed just staying in and relaxing while down south. A day spent, enjoying the fire, making gnocchi and drinking local wine was great! Thank you Fi, for sharing a beautiful home and making my 40th getaway a memorable one.
