Stunning 4 bedroom at exceptional Mullins Beach

Located within the exclusive gated Mullins Bay community, this elegant 4-bedroom villa offers luxury accommodation and high quality finishes throughout. Occupants have use of 2 semi private pools located just outside the courtyard gate. There is a lockable gate between the courtyard and the pool to allow peace of mind for parents with young children. The villa is situated opposite the stunning Mullins Beach and guests will have access to the Royal Westmoreland Beach Club. When you arrive at the beach you will be shown to your sun bed by the friendly beach club staff and provided with towels for the day. Anytime you need a refreshing cocktail there is waiter service straight to your bed. In addition, beach club membership gives visitors access to a members sun deck, beach bar and restaurant. , The Indulgence spa pool, gym and spa (extra charge) House keeper service included.

We absolutely loved our stay at Annette and Steve's. The villa was comfortable, spotless, very well equipped and spacious. The fact that the patio opens right onto a pool and outdoor shower, and is right next to a larger pool, and is just a super quick walk to the beach club is just amazing. We would love to return there-- it was perfect for the 5 of us.

Fabulous Stay

We really enjoyed the property on Mullins bay. It was right across from the beach in a perfect location. The grounds were very well kept and there was a lot of space in the house and on the property for our son to wonder around. The house cleaner was a great extra bonus. The beach club had great food and drinks and great place to relax.

A great holiday in Barbardos at Mullins Beach for the adults and childen

A great stay for all, we travelled, late July beginning August 2019 I, mum, travelled with my two sons, age 10 and age 11, my 11 year old son special needs and a care team of 4. Through to the booking process, the host(s) Steve and Annette were extremely patience, helpful and responsive in all of my questions. I was booking for individual adults and the children, including special needs and had lots of questions to ask. Both hosts always responded in a timely fashion and provided help and details. On arrival, we were greeted with the house manager, Shonelle. Shonelle was very helpful on the check in and always on call during the stay. All of what the accommodation offers and location, offers far more than what can be described on one listings. We were comfortable and happy throughout our stay The bedrooms are a good size all ensuite. Beds very comfortable with AC. The accommodation is attractive, clean and all amenities required for a comfortable stay. The pools are 1 min walk and grounds, never over crowded, very well maintained and the security around the complex, helpful and friendly. The beach was just across the road with the very easy to enjoy for all with towels and beds taken care of , helpful staff. The location offered good transport links. As a mum of two children and speaking of behalf of the young adults who joined me. We all had a great holiday and all were very comfortable in our accommodation, Thank you to both Steve/Annette for being great hosts. Annette (London August 2019)

Exceeded our expectations

Our group of 4 couples that stayed at Happy Returns agreed that this was one of the best vacation rentals we have experienced. The communication with Annette was great from the start and she made sure that we even knew where to eat at the airport when we were leaving. The house had everything we needed. The bedrooms fit our 4 couples perfectly and the beds and linens were so cozy and comfortable. Each room had its own AC which allows everyone to sleep at a temp suitable for them. The outdoor area is where we spent most of our time and was enough room for the 8 of us to enjoy dinners and lively card games in the evening. It also was nice for the early risers to be able to sit outside and have coffee without disturbing our sleepyheads-which rooms were dark enough to do! The kitchen is well equipped to cook meals in. The living room had a nice supply of books, games, and the TV selection was more than enough. Annette has put a lot of thought into the home and you really feel like you have everything you need. The gated community is wonderfully landscaped with pools beautiful trees and well manicured shrubs. It is a short 2 min walk to Mullins Beach. The beach was a bit small right across the road due to some rough sea conditions when we first arrived but we found so many nice areas to sit and enjoy the calm sea just a few minutes walk south. My favorite mornings were when the tide was low enough to walk along the beach to Gibbs. The area is great. It is quiet compared to the south of the island. There is a gas station a few minute walk away with essentials. A nice variety of restaurants walking distance and a couple places to grab Banks for cheap. We like to walk and found it easily walkable to Gibbs Beach, Speightstown, and even to Heywoods (which we loved). Sometimes we would walk there and catch the bus back. We had a van for the 8 of us and found our place easy to get to. The best surprise was having Shonnelle come throughout our stay to tidy up after us. We did not expect it but truly appreciated this. We would recommend Happy Returns to anyone looking for a place to be immersed in beautiful surroundings, have quiet beach access close by, and enjoys a bit of home cooking and conveniences of having a house. Hope we can Happily Return someday.

We are Steve and Annette we live in Canada. We love Barbados and fell in love with Happy Returns on a recent visit. After working hard all our lives we purchased the property for our 45th wedding anniversary and as a pre-retirement home. Originally from the UK we made our home across the Atlantic some years ago. We are avid sailors who have sailed in the Caribbean, the Mediterranean. Central America and off the coast of Africa. We have traveled extensively throughout the world and yet have chosen Barbados as our second home.

Why they chose this property

Throughout the years we have returned to Barbados 15 times as we believe it has something for everyone, beautiful beaches, the sun and the sea, the stunning gardens, caves, historical homes and the wild eastern coastline. The people are so friendly, the island easy to navigate even on public transport, many delightful restaurants and the nightlife of the south coast.
we also love that there is a direct flight from many countries.

What makes this property unique

We love the convenience of the house, it is a short stroll through the complex past lush gardens to the beach, and the beach restaurant. The sea is warm and pleasant but if you prefer a pool, we have access to 3, all within seconds of the house. Most days you get the pool and pool deck all to yourself -luxury!
When you do want to go to a restaurant, shop or go to play golf that is just a short drive away.
We offer beach umbrellas, beach chairs, beach towels, wireless internet, tv, bluetooth samsung sound system, games, videos, books, barbeque- everything you need for a holiday in the sun.
