My family, and I actually didn't end up staying at this resort- Upon arrival there was NO paperwork/keys to check-in prompting us to have to call the on-call for assistance(was then 12:00AM), shortly after a woman called rudely stating I will be ATLEAST 30minutes, abruptly hanging up. The lady whom arrived then handed me an envelope, keys, and stated "the unit was last occupied on 5-26, and hasn't been cleaned go look to see if it is okay for tonight or I will have to call the cleaner." Upon further entering the building to see he unit I noticed windows that didn't seal in the halls- allowing hot humid air/bugs in, and the elevator/corridor was VERY outdated. Once opening the door to the unit, and turning on the light there were NUMEROUS bugs scurrying quickly for hiding/shelter, one of which was a large cockroach that'd flipped on it's back, and remained there. The ad stayed oceanview, and there is NO view(direct/non-direct) of water at ALL. Needless to say my family and I did NOT stay here, by the time we left it was then 1am. They've refused me a refund thus far!
Guest booked and checked-in same day after 5 pm (closing hours), which is why keys weren't available for pick-up upon her 12 am arrival so guest had to phone the emergency contact. Tara, (the emergency contact / lady who arrived with the keys), told guest to check on the unit first to make sure everything was good before she departed. Tara waited for guest to return, which then guest gave her the ok. The next morning when Tara arrived at the SunGlow front office, she phoned us stating the keys from the guest were left at front desk and was inquiring if we knew what happened with guest. That same morning our office discovered an email from guest with her said claims, which we then informed Tara about. Tara immediately investigated the unit herself and found the unit to be cleaned and untouched. She did find one dead palmetto bug near the entry of the unit, but no further issues. Tara took pictures of the untouched and perfectly fine unit, which she provided to our office. We're still uncertain what truly happened to this guest and what her reasoning was behind the unnecessary drama. By the way, this unit's back door/balcony faces the south providing views of the ocean and the intracoastal waterway, which neither can be seen at night.
Très bel endroit confortable malgré quelques petits inconvénients.Proximité de la plage, piscine vraiment chauffée et endroit sécuritaire exigeant des clés pour accéder aux installations.
We're pleased that you enjoyed the nice & cozy condo! Thank you for your review!
Sunglow Weekend Stay
The condo was great itself. Didn't realize we got the street side parking view of the beach. This condo overlooking the beach was what we thought we were getting. Lots of onlookers that were coming into the beach and to the restaurant on the pier. Over all it was a very relaxing stay and what my wife and I needed. Everything we needed we had, the condo itself great. Location it was not so great.
Thank you for your review! We're sorry that you were not happy with the location. Our pictures in the property description accurately denotes the property showing that you can see the parking lot as well as the ocean from the balcony. We are glad that you enjoyed the condo and had a very relaxing stay!
