Details Make the Difference

Pat is the most gracious host. We had an authentic Hawaiian experience. The stay was private, peaceful, and beautiful (in a great location) with every imaginable amenity, including an outdoor shower. We frequented the heated pool and hot tub, our daughter's favorite. I especially enjoyed the artwork throughout the home, the incredible ocean view, and the lovely Hawaiian quilts on the beds. The kitchen was well appointed with professional grade appliances.

This is ALL you'll need

You won't want or need to leave this absolute gem. The views are forever. The garden/grounds are well manicured, the pool and hot tub perfectly situated taking full advantage of the views. The beds are insanely comfortable. Daily trade-winds kept the house at perfect temperature. Beautifully appointed interiors -- beds so comfy. Did I mention the outdoor shower??! If/when you do leave, location is tucked away yet mere minutes from everything Haleiwa has to offer. So grateful to Pat for making her paradise available, you really need look no further. She goes above and beyond to ensure you're getting the most of your time in paradise. We can't wait to return! #2023GOALS

A Special Relationship with the Pacific

First, the summary - if you stay at this house on the beach for a few weeks or a few months, you will come away with a new, special appreciation for the Pacific Ocean, its power and its splendor, and an appreciation for this beautiful setting. Pat is the most attentive owner you can imagine. She makes you feel a part of her community when you meet her for the first time (or earlier, for that matter, when you communicate on vrbo). Not intrusive, but available, and for more than 'where are the towels?" If you want the guidance, she'll be there and you'll love her for it. The house is a vacation wonder. It has two very independent units. The upstairs has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. (We used it for a couple and two adult children, but it could easily sleep six). The master bedroom has a step in shower. The other two bedrooms shre a bath. The kitchen/dining room/living room are one large area that looks over the ocean. It has a medium-size deck (two lounge chairs and a table with four chairs for afternoon cocktails). It is all just the definition of relaxing. The downstairs is basically a separate one bedroom apartment with a small kitchen. We had a couple staying there. They loved it. It is separate enough if someone wants privacy. It is joined by the outdoor stairs. The outdoor shower fills out the structure. It also has a small pool and hot tub, which we didn't use much with the ocean mere steps away. The area has plenty to offer, even in Covid times. Delivery from most of the restaurants is available, or a short drive to pick up. It is a bit of a hike to walk to any of the stores/restaurants, but a bicycle would be easy. You can pick from many types of food, and we were frequent visitors to coffee stores and the bakery. If you are looking for relaxing, ocean, and a lot less hectic than the big city, this is the right place.

Little Piece of Heaven on the North Shore

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property! We arrived and the owners were there to greet us and personally show us all of the amazing features of this home (pool, hot tub) and answer any questions we might have. It had everything we needed- great kitchen, comfortable bedding and you don’t want to miss the private enclosed outdoor shower and so convenient after snorkeling, swimming in the ocean just steps from the back porch. Incredible views all around and quaint local eateries and shops just a quick car/bike ride away. If you want to skip the touristy feel of Honolulu and REALLY get away you won’t find a better place. We already can’t wait to come back!

Waialua Paradise

Beautiful property off of the beaten path. You can not beat the location - where else can you see spectacular sunrises and sunsets from the same spot? The house was perfectly sized for our party of four.

Magical beach vacation in a gorgeous house!

Fantastic vacation in a perfect spot. We stayed for 6 nights over the week between Christmas and New Years with four teenage kids and my MIL and there was plenty of room for everyone plus great common spaces. The main house has 3 bedrooms and the downstairs apartment has one. The bedrooms are plenty big and bright. The house is very well maintained, clean and bright with the most amazing views. We saw turtles in the water swimming right out front and our last day we saw a Monk Seal sunning itself on the beach. Tons of rainbows too:) Pat, the owner, is wonderful and took time to introduce us to the house, checked in with us periodically and answer any questions we had. The location is great...a quick drive into town but far enough away to feel private. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook for 7 a couple of nights and there was plenty of space to seat everyone. The yard and pool/hot tub were fantastic. The fireworks New Years Eve were amazing right from our deck...Its as if we were part of the show! We have stayed at many VRBO vacation rentals and this one is truly magical.

Perfection

My family and I rented this amazing home and cottage over the Christmas Holiday. What a wonderful place to stay. Pat has everything you could possible need and then some. Pool, hot tub, kayaks, the most amazing views of beach and the most wonderful breezes. The home was immaculate with beautifull decor. Pat had even decorated both house and cottage with Christmas trees ! We traveled the island ,went on a private adventure tour, Ziplined, watched the surfers at the pipeline, I could go on and on. Thanks Pat for a perfect vacation.

Why they chose this property

I split my time between my homes at Diamond Head and the North Shore. The North Shore is my "country" home. I wanted a place that was tranquil, private and secluded with lots of natural beauty and sea life. Because I am not there all the time, I thought it would be nice to share my little slice of paradise with those who hear the call of the ocean.

What makes this property unique

Ocean front heated saline pool, Hot Springs Spa, secluded, tranquil, roomy, fully renovated, high end, tiff lawn, turtles, North Shore without the horrible traffic hassles, Haleiwa is just 10 minutes away for Dining if you don't want to cook or BBQ.
