“Brookside” is a place for friends and family to gather and enjoy each other’s company while experiencing the best that “Mother Nature” has to offer.



Our home is warm, inviting and nicely decorated with an outdoorsy country theme. A beautiful, multi-level home with a stone fireplace located in the sunken living room on wooded mountainside lot overlooking a small creek. The home features multi-tiered decking with an outdoor hot tub.



After an exhilarating day of playing in the white powder, curl up with a good book and a hot cup of cocoa in the loft overlooking the living room. If hiking is your thing the community borders the Monongahela National Forest.

We will be back. Had a great time and loved our stay in the cabin. We loved having the movies, board games,and books available for us to use. We played board games all evening one day. Great Idea! Also loved the hot tub! They were very friendly and helpful to explain the area to us.

Loved the location of this property, situated between both parks.

Loved the location of this property, situated between both parks. The deck was great for porch sitting (the only downside was that you could hear the passing traffic on the main road) but we did have deer in the yard each day. The house was very clean and well stocked - kitchen was stocked with very nice dishes and lots of pots & pans. The bathrooms had plenty of towels. Nice washer and dryer that worked well, too. We enjoyed our time sitting on the deck, the location of the property is great, and the hot tub was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, inquired about our stay during key drop off.

The need to pay the pet fee in cash or check was frustrating.

The need to pay the pet fee in cash or check was frustrating. It was made more frustrating when the person checking us out explained that the cash or check requirement was so Mountaintop Realty could avoid credit card fees. If Mountaintop Realty needs the additional $0.50 (1.51% + $0.10), consider increasing the pet fee, and not inconveniencing people by requiring different payment methods for different portions of the rental.

Good stay

House was a little worn, but not too bad. Hot tub worked but made ENORMOUS amount of noise that could be heard everywhere in the house 24/7. Upstairs toilet required constant plunging. 4PM check-in is a little late.

Cute place neighborhood

The place is cute and quaint, but pretty spartan. We didn’t need many frills, our children loved the place and we had many cozy meals and plenty of family time. The neighborhood is close to the mountains, state park, and town.

Romantic weekend getaway.

We enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub. Nice, clean spacious cabin. Very secluded in the woods yet other cabins in the area. Nice for a getaway from the city to the mountains. Having 2 bathrooms was nice.
