Welcome to Gold Cove on the private side of Lake Anna! We built our expansive 8000 sq ft home to host large family gatherings and groups of friends! Bring your boat - the community has a private boat launch and we even have our own onsite Non-Ethanol Fuel Tank for your boat! Plenty of room for all with 7 bedrooms, 7 full baths (6 are en suite) and 2 powder rooms. We have beds for 20. Two Owners Suites (king beds), 1 other king bed, 1 queen, 1 twin over full, 3 fulls, and 5 bunks. There are 5 decks plus patios, a sandy beach on a quiet cove, and dock for gathering and water toys. In the basement media room we have a 110" HD projection screen home theatre with 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos Surround, all the Smart TV’s have capability for YouTube TV, Netflix, Amazon, etc. Super fast Starlink internet service ensures hi-speed connections for all. Chef’s kitchen with double ovens, double microwaves, double dishwashers, and double refrigerators! Basement wet bar and fantastic game area including pool table, ping pong and air hockey tables. Huge yard for playing a soccer game or throwing the football around. **Just added Pickle Ball court lines on the driveway!** Adjustable ‘Goalrilla’ Basketball hoop in the driveway and full basketball court and tennis court a block away at the community common area. Let us know if there is anything special you may require, we want to exceed your expectations!

The home was fantastic—well-equipped with everything needed for a perfect getaway. The private lake access and sand play area were wonderful for the kids, while the spacious bedrooms and large living area made it ideal for hosting a big family gathering.

My family and I just had a family reunion here for a week and everything was fantastic. The house and especially the kitchen is very well stocked, clean and organized. The owner is incredibly responsive, helpful and checked in on us throughout our stay. He even ordered us a coffee grinder when I reached out to ask if the home had one. So above and beyond!! I 100% recommend renting this home and would definitely rent here again. Thank you again for an amazing stay!!

We had a great time at Gold Cove! The house had everything we needed, including gas on site! Kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes, tools, gadgets and small appliances - even had a Ninja blender! The water was quite warm - spa like - on the private side, public side was a bit nicer temp. The only downside was a boat rental and not being able to have it at the dock at the house, but we made do and kept it at the marina which was 5 min away. Adam was always checking in via text to make sure all was good and we didn't need anything else. We played pickleball, volleyball and a little soccer and indoor was a pool table, ping pong and air hockey that the kids loved. Definitely a place to return to :-)

We spent a week with 23 people (13 kids and 10 adults). The house is beautiful and accommodated our large group easily. Adam was a great host; he responded to our texts quickly and was available throughout the week to answer questions. The only downside was the temperature of the lake was very warm, which affected the amount of time we swam.

The house was everything and more in its description. Great place for a large family vacation. There were 12 of us and all had plenty of space. Beautiful home, spacious, and comfortable.The week was extremely hot and unfortunately the lake water was close to 90 degrees. Not quite as refreshing as you might expect.Fishing was fun right off the dock with sunnies, catfish and bass caught every day.Over all a great place for vacationing.

Family vacation 2025

This is our familys 2nd visit to Gold Cove. The house fits our family perfectly. Space for the teens and room for all the littles! Property is beautiful. Owner very attentive and helpful. Everything we need in the kitchen.... We love it here!

Great Holiday Getaway!

We had 19 family members ranging in age from 5 to 85. There was plenty of space that everyone enjoyed themselves without being on top of each other. The kitchen was fully equipped to prepare our Thanksgiving Feast. The pickleball court and firepit were fully enjoyed, and my niece even decided to paddleboard- in November- she couldn't resist the calm of the lake and the ease of the dock. My kids loved sitting on the "beach" and playing. Puzzles were built, games were played, and my college nephew was even able to hole up in the office and work on his projects for school without missing out. Truly the perfect space for extended family time. Adam was the perfect host, reaching out several times to check in and make sure we were doing well. It was a wonderful stay and we would love to come again!

Our stay at Gold Cove was excellent. The host was extremely communicative and helpful. Plenty of space and lots of options for activities. The kitchen was well stocked and having two refridgetors and two dishwashers was quite useful when planning meals for a llarge grip

The house was great! The listing is accurate to everything they have to offer! Plenty of room for all 20 of us and great activities for the kids! The house is beautiful and well stocked! And Adam was great at communicating with us the whole week!

Spectacular 2024

What a fantastic week we’ve had at the Gold Cove. This vacation home has been absolutely an awesome experience. Not only was the house beautiful and accommodating, but the location was spectacular. The owner was more than helpful in every way possible. I highly recommend vacationing here.

Good for Peers to Co-work by the Lake

The house was great for co-workers to spend a week together co-working from the lake. We enjoyed the theater room and the individual suites for each person. Bring your own toilet paper and paper towels just in case, the host starts you with some but you may need more. The home next door was going through a full remodel so some construction sounds weren't ideal but it was outside of the hosts control. Highly recommend!

Lovely!

We rented this for 5 nights for our daughters wedding weekend. Perfect location for Avonlea Farms wedding venue. Home was beautiful and clean. Would definitely like to return when we can have a more leisurely stay :)

"Elders" Sibling Reunion

Our stay was Sunday to Saturday with boat rental part time. We gave all 5 star ratings for each category except 4 stars for "Accuracy of on-line listing" because we found the house to be nicer than the website showed. Our family has been having reunions (“big family ~ 37 of us”, individual families and sibling - us 7 elders) for over 5 decades. Looking back we've had numerous reunions on lakes in MN when our kids were younger. Now our kids, and grandkids, always want the beach or golf resorts and, even though we elders grew-up in MN, we were shocked at how nice it was to be on Lake Anna. We've already suggested to the larger family that we consider this home on the lake. This house is among the best we've experienced and they’ve done a great job making it a welcoming vacation place for families. Adam helped us with our preparations and stayed in contact with us during the week to make sure everything was as we needed. The continuing contact made us feel special and a look at other reviews indicates Adam treats all of his guests well.

My family rented this property for our annual vaccation. We were beyond happy from start to finish. Adam was very accomodating throughout the whole visit, staying in contact and providing support as needed. The house and property are stunning both inside and out. We were happy to find a recent addition of pickleball which kept us occupied. The house was definitely equipt to handle such a large group with countless bathrooms & bedrooms for everyone. We had an amazing time!

2023 Family Vaca

We had to wait about 40 minutes after check-in for the cleaning crew to finish up. But once we were in all was great!! Owner Adam was there to answer every question we had. The house was spacious and accommodating. The kids loved the ping pong, air hockey, and pool table. Kitchen is equipped with everything we needed along with a great sized pantry to hold all the groceries for our large family. Water temp was perfect for all our water fun! We will be back!!!

An absolutely superb house

This was our second year renting this amazing house and we’ve already booked again for next year. The space is wonderfully flexible, and the amenities are fantastic. New, beautiful throughout, and all the equipment you could need. The direct waterfront access is great for swimming and/or boating and the kids in our group felt like they always wanted to be outside. Adam is a great manager, incredibly responsive, and just wonderful to work with.

Gorgeous home and amazing stay!

Book immediately!

Our family of 15 spend an entire week here in August and was NOT disappointed. Here are some of the highlights: *The house is beautiful & very clean. *Is on the private side of the lake which was supper quiet & peaceful. *2nd floor laundry where most of us were. *3 car garage was perfect since it was raining when we arrived. *Huge kitchen allowed us to enjoy our meals together. *The back yard is flat which allowed for some fun games of football & soccer. *Full house speaker system with volume controls for multiple areas. *Alex our host communicated well before, during, and after our stay. There was an issue with a section of the AC system that was Immediately handled & done in a way that was satisfactory to us. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent Family Vacation

First, the property owner is amazing and very responsive! He will ensure everything is perfect for you. Our extended family of 20 had a wonderful time here. The house is so large, with so much to do, that it is easy to have space if you need it, or hang out with enough room for everyone. We rented kayaks for a day, fished nonstop, and hung out on the porch looking at the lake most of the day. Highly recommended!!

Paradise by the lake

This property is just as beautiful in person as it is online. When we walked in, we could instantly tell it was very clean. The owner is a great communicator and everything was handled professionally. We had five families and kids raging from 6-14; every family had plenty of space inside and we loved the basement and backyard. When we weren’t in the lake we were playing games in the backyard. This house is in a great neighborhood; perfect for walks and bike rides. There’s also a neighborhood basketball court! The kitchen is very spacious and we never felt crowded. This property really is perfect for families and is paradise by the lake.

If there is one thing we truly enjoy, it’s getting together with our family and friends. When the idea of building this lake house came about, we knew that to make it special, we'd need to make sure there would be room for everyone to be together - and also room for everyone to have their own space. The property is ideally located on almost 2 acres of usable land for walking, exploring, or playing games in the yard. Additionally, the cove is perfect for our young kids to get into the water and play around. We will love using it when we can, but we also want to share it with you. Enjoy!

Being just 80 miles from the DC area, we love getting in the car and being at the lake in no time at all. The stress of travel that so often comes with vacations just doesn't exist. We chose this lot because it is on the warm side of the lake which means there is limited boat traffic, and the cove is also an added level of protection. The water is always calm enough for the kids to run and play without the parents having any concerns. It's also in a planned community that is not over built and has great amenities!
