Great View and Centrally Located
The cabin was very clean and was as advertised and Joel and Brandy were quick to reply to any questions we had . Many positives include the fireplace, view from the balcony, hot tub, Jacuzzi tube . I would recommend to a friend and would stay here again in the future.
Beautiful view. Accommodations were the absolute best. We will definitely make this our get away destination. Very clean and well kept. Thanks for making this the best romantic get away EVER.
Excellent cabin, very clean.
We really enjoyed staying at Sugar Bear. Brandy (Owner) was nice, very responsive and great to work with. Upon arrival, the cabin smelled very clean and everything was as described. Nice quiet area with good views of the mountains.
The cabin and views were amazing!! However, it was col, rainy, and late when we got there and the first thing I did was go to turn on the gas fireplace to warm up, it didn’t work. The next
Morning I called the owner and was told it would be taken care re of. That night no propane, and there was none by Tim we get it home Saturday. I spoke with the owner again and was offered a free weekend, that was generous I realize, but due to my work schedule and distance, we couldn’t take it. The next morning I contacted the owner and asked instead of the weekend could we just have a refund for two nights, he said no, the fireplace didn’t have to be operational until December! Needless to say I got NOTHIG! Also the shower curtain was molded and the shower was antiquated . While the cabin was nice and the views are amazing, I cannot recomend this cabin due to the manage, or lack thereof. I’m a property owner myself of several rental homes, and when there’s a problem, it get fixed ASAP!
I’m really glad you enjoyed the cabin and it’s amazing views. I’m sorry that you weren’t happy about the fireplace. It clearly states on our website that the fireplace is only optional during the winter months(December-March). However, after speaking with you we were willing to try to get the propane filled so you would have use of it. Unfortunately, the propane company was already overbooked and could not make that happen. We desire our guests to enjoy their stay and we do everything we can within our power to make that happen. But not all things are within our power. We have actually decided to make to make the fireplace functional for a larger portion of the year to accommodate guests such as yourselves that really desire to use it (even though it’s not cold out and there is heat). We did offer you a free weekend, but were unwilling to return more than half of your money to you. We didn’t feel that was fair. So sorry to hear that you won’t be referring our cabin. We did the very best we could to answer all of your many calls and texts in a timely manner, responding to your rage with kindness and grace.
Beautiful cabin in a great location. Amazing views of the skyline meeting the mountain tops. Overall the cabin was really clean and spacious. The hot tub was amazing! Only downfall was they were out of propane and couldn’t use the fireplace (which was something I was really looking forward to). They were quick to respond to all of my questions before and during my stay. I would definitely come back to this cabin.
Peace, beautiful, and tranquil
We loved our stay at Sugar Bear. It was everything we could have asked for, and everything we needed. The peace we found during our week rejuvenated us more than we knew we needed. Its nice to get away and get back to nature. We highly recommend staying at Sugar Bear for anyone looking for the moments that matter the most in life. Time is the most valuable asset we have, and I can say that our time was well spent at Sugar Bear.
Only minutes from dollywood, pigeon forge, gatlinburg, and the great smoky mountain national park.
