Extra nice cottage on Crooked Lake with lake views. Has living and kitchen that is open Has NEW VERY LARGE DECK WITH Cathedral, ceiling, and fan Has Lake and dock access. Plenty of parking for boat trailers. Has 2 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths and sleeps 8. Very nicely furnished. Pets allowed with fee. Short walk to lake with optional golf cart. Bennington Tritoon $1200. A week or $250. A day with 3 day min. 115hp Yamaha engine. The boat needs to be rented through the owner. Use of newer pier. Has its own fire pit and gas grill. must furnish own wood. Also has washer and dryer. On 3rd basin which is great for skiing and tubing. WE ALSO RENT THE BOAT SEPARATELY ON CROOKED LAKE If you have a cottage rented on Crooked lake we can bring it to you by water.

Yearly Summer stay with family!

I booked this stay for my yearly stay in the summer with my family in Indiana and my family from Upper Michigan and Wisconsin … We had an awesome time near the lake and also rented the pontoon for a bit and used the kayaks also . Grandkids had a super fun experience as did the adults ! We had some incredible memories! The hosts were awesome and responded to all questions and were right there if we needed them ! Grandkids also swam off the dock on the owners property also ! Fun was had by all ! House was clean and modern and large ! Thank you for our wonderful family vacation!

Rental 4th July

Overall, very clean. Soap dispensers did have just water & soap in them. I will say, the title should be more specific, it is on the lake; however, you can barely see the lake which was very frusterating. I believe the pictures posted are of the owners view and not this house. Host was very easy to talk to and accommodating

A few things to consider when booking

We stayed here in August and overall enjoyed ourselves. The house itself is nicer than the photos show. The first floor has a bedroom, half bath and laundry area. The upstairs is where the living area, kitchen, second bedroom and full bathroom are. It was very clean and had a lot of natural sunlight. There was a nice wrap around 2nd story deck as well. Out back there is also a fire pit. While the house was clean and tidy – some of the details were neglected: - The sliding glass door on the second story would not lock. We notified the owners, who said it had been an issue in the past, but they didn’t provide a solution other than the neighborhood is safe. We took it upon ourselves and found something to secure it at night. - The kitchen faucet was damaged and was set to the high-pressure nozzle, often splattering water all over. - There were 3 wasp nests on the deck. We sprayed them with some wasp spray from the garage, but they pestered us daily, rendering the deck unusable. - The house was not sufficiently stocked (or stocked at all) with garbage bags, toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, or dishwasher tablets. - The firepit is directly underneath a streetlight – the bright light kills the ambiance of a fire. - Vicky, the owner, was difficult to contact – often taking a few days to respond and she didn’t answer every question we asked. - Once we received the address, we were surprised to find that the cottage wasn’t actually on the lake. It’s about 600 feet from the water. Going back and reading the details, I’ll admit the overview mentions “a short walk to lake”, but the title of the property is “On Crooked Lake”. The dock that is photographed is actually a different property of the owners, who are within earshot at all times. I would really consider the dock more of a shared area with the owners. We met Vicky’s husband, Walt while out on the dock. He was very nice and helpful. He even stopped by once to drop off some items that we were short on in the house. - We chose this property over others because of the pontoon availability at a fantastic rate. Unfortunately, we were notified the day before arriving that the pontoon was under repair. We called around to see if we could rent one elsewhere and due to the short notice, we were unable to find a replacement. It took the owner all week to have their boat fixed. We rented it for a discount on our last day because the engine would sputter and die if we pushed it past a few MPH.

very relaxing

Had a great week, short walks to the lake every morning. A quiet neighborhood with many great restaurants close by. The place was clean and amenities were as stated. A great week.

Great Stay

What a wonderful stay! The house was very clean! Vicki and Walt could not have been nicer!! The boat was amazing! We will definitely be back!!!!!

Relaxing Weekend

Owners were friendly and easy to work with. They took us out on the pontoon boat and gave us a tour of the lake. Location was nice!

Crooked Lake

We had a great time. The house is very clean and very comfortable. The pontoon boat being available for a very fair price and the beautiful area to sit by the lake is what sold us on renting here.
