This charming cape cottage is located in heart of Old Village. The property has a long rental history with most clients returning year after year ( some for 25 years ! ) There is abundant outdoor space for your enjoyment. Stroll down the driveway to the Holway Street beach. Meander around the light house and quaint Old Village. It is less than a ten minute walk to town with shopping, restaurants, band concerts, etc.
The main living area includes a large sunroom with sensational views of Chatham Harbor. There are windows and sliders on three sides. You can watch the boating activities in Chatham Harbor or enjoy the large flat screen tv and sound system. This is the perfect room for family activities or even a small party. Adjacent to the sunroom and accessible via French Doors is the living room and dining area with easy open flow. A Sonos system and new Smart Tv are here as well. The fully equipped kitchen with new appliances opens to the dining area.

Access to the sensational roof deck is via the south facing upstairs bedroom. The views from this deck are equal to any on Cape Cod. The deck is equipped with a full size round teak table with chairs as well as chaise lounges and side tables. You are guaranteed to spend many memorable hours here viewing the sunrise, observing boating activities, watching the sunset and viewing the moon over Chatham Harbor.
Off the dining area on first floor is a flagstone deck equipped with a gas grill and two dining tables for eating alfresco. During the high season preference is given to weekly rentals on a Saturday to Saturday basis. The rate schedule explains the details.The listing price is highly competitive for area and the house itself. From 1 May until 22 June and again from 7 September to 4 December rentals with a 3 day minimum are possible. Cleaning fees are applied for all rentals. Any low season rental for a week or longer is granted a fifteen percent discount.
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts and town of Chatham are now enforcing a short term rental tax on all properties rented for less than 30 days after 1 July 2019. This tax is 12.45% and payable by tenant to the owner who in turn is responsible to convey the tax to MA and Chatham. A five hundred dollar potentially returnable damage waiver is to be paid at time of final rental payment. The tenant may also wish to secure Accidental Damage Waiver (ADW).
Pets may be welcomed. The tenant should inquire with the owner as to whether a pet will be allowed.
