Expensive

With used needles on kitchen counter not good. Bloody bandages also. Property hadnt been mowed. Couldnt get pizza delivered because of blackout zone. It was 3 miles away. Bottom line it was way too expensive. I fill like i deserve a refund of some kind.

Very enjoyable home

Very nice house! Plenty of space for our party of 11, and very well stocked. Neighborhood was very quiet and lovely, with mule deer sightings very nearby (in the back yard, even!), and good for taking a family walk. The only negative could have been avoided by host providing description of the whole-house exhaust -- for a couple of days the air temp was not well-controlled and eventually a hot water heater went out because of that issue. The concern was addressed quickly.

Colorado High

This home is beautiful and centrally located to so many things. Tons of room for 5 of us. It was a girls trip and we thoroughly enjoyed staying there. Jane responded quickly whenever I had a question. I would highly recommend this home.

Colorado Springs - Christmas Vacation

The house was beautiful. Honestly, the pictures do not give it the credit is deserves! We were traveling with our kids and grandkids ahead of the Christmas holiday and it was great for our group. The kids loved the basement and the setup was perfect for us.

Colorado Springs

Family gathering for 11 of us, and the location for getting around Colorado Springs was fantastic! The house comfortably slept us all, and the neighborhood was convenient to all of our "must-see" places: Flying W, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs, and even Cripple Creek.

The property was occupied when we arrived. The owners gave us another property for the night It was not adequate for our group but. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The labor of dragging things in and out was labor intensive. Definitely took away from our time there. Once we arrived the next day at the house it was beautiful. It was clean and the property was outstanding!!!! Beautiful views from the upstairs balcony and backyard and deck accommodated our large group. Everyone enjoyed the game room.

Location, location, location

This beautiful property is located near many of the highlighted attractions of Colorado Springs such as the Garden of the Gods and the Flying W Ranch. The home is spacious and beautifully appointed. Every person had ample space and a comfy bed to sleep in while enjoying a bathroom that was located nearby each room. Couples had their own room/bathroom and children used theirs. There were deer and rabbits every morning/afternoon in the yard and the nighttime views were grand of the city below. We had a wonderful Christmas together in this house.

Great stay in Colorado Springs!

Awesome house that sits above Colorado Springs. Huge house with plenty of room for everyone. Kids had fun in the basement with theater, Ping-Pong table and pool table. House was just perfect for everyone. Mule deer walked around the house everyday. Excellent communication with the owner during the stay. Will be staying again!

Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity Reunion

This was an incredible place for seven of us to get together and relive great college and fraternity memories. Everything about this property was outstanding, including the location, the amenities, the communication, and the overall condition. These hosts go above and beyond to make their guests’ stay and outstanding experience!

Great location

This Beautiful home is located in a perfect location. Short drive to Pikes Peak, Cave of the Winds, and Garden of the Gods to name a few. It’s a spacious house with plenty of room for my extended family of 13 people. We enjoyed seeing the deer in the backyard every morning. 😁

Perfect for family of 12

It is close to good hiking and biking for the big kids and the North Pole and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo are 20-30 minutes away for the little kids! Good fun in the house with games and projection TV was a hit.

Excellent accommodations for large family

We really enjoyed our stay in Mountain Shadows. Big house, well-designed, well-equipped, nice neighborhood. We (extended family) were in town for a week for a wedding, and this really worked out well for us. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

Family vacation

the property was ok. the back yard was kind of a mess with small branches, etc. The grill was very dirty and had to be cleaned before we used it. It seemed that only the rooms that had been used before we came had been cleaned. We did some cleaning when we got there and everything was ok. The whole group enjoyed the deer walking around the neighborhood. Thank you for the experience.

Perfect place for our 3 family getaway!

We had 6 adults and 15 children in the house! Each family was able to have their own room with bathroom. The basement was perfect for the kids! The large projector was a hit for evening calming time with a movie, and video game play! The bunk beds and pull out couch ensured the kids could sleep together and wake up without disrupting the adults. The views were amazing!!!! We got snow near the end of our stay and the driveway was a perfect hill for sledding down!!! Each level was insulated from sound allowing early sleepers to get rest while things continued through the night. The beds were soft and comfy and there were pillows for all preferences. Each day different wildlife would pass through the back yard to everyone's delight!

Great property!

Great property! There were 12 of us from age 5 and up. We were all very comfortable and plenty to keep everyone entertained. We stayed over Christmas and cooked a lot. The kitchen was great. Property was clean and location was fabulous. The grocery store just down the hill was perfectly located to purchase the items we didn't bring along. Several in our group asked to stay at this location again. Thanks!

Great House for Family Get Away

This property is great! We had our children/spouses and grandchildren so all together there were 7 adults and 6 kids ages 0-5. We met here to vacation and take the grandchildren to some local attractions. The house was bigger than we expected and plenty of room for each family to have their own space and own full bath. We enjoyed the mornings sitting out on the back deck with the kids playing in the yard. The deer showed up, just as the owner had mentioned, to the grandkids delight. There were plenty of dishes and cookware that you would need along with a cabinet full of spices. Plenty of toiletries and towels also. It was very hot when we were there so the theater area in the basement, the ping pong table and foosball/pool table came in handy. The owner was easy to contact and always responsive when we needed it but we rarely needed it. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. Grocery stores, coffee shops, drug stores, etc. were within a few miles. Laundry room was very nice and necessary with the kiddos. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic home in absolutely beautiful neighborhood. Very clean and super comfortable.
