Fun on the Farm

This farm was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the home and a little of the outdoors (it was quite hot). Close to Lake Geneva and an excellent ice cream store. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of room for the 6 of us. Nice large kitchen table for meals. Host was very responsive and pro active.

Beautiful house!

We spent a weekend there recently and had a wonderful time! The house is much larger than you see in the pictures. A nice mixture between rustic and modern. Gorgeous view! I only spoke to the owner once but he was very nice and offered to help if we needed anything. Love the fact that pets are allowed. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful views of country fields!

Mike was great! He was friendly, helpful with firewood and kindling, and guided us on what to feed Robin Hood, the horse. The house was perfect for our family. My son used the big bedroom for his two large dog crates. We enjoyed the big sofa and the fireplace. The kitchen was well-stocked and even had local eggs in the refrigerator. We were there when it was about 0 degrees and the house was warm and cozy. We enjoyed walking on the property and in the area. We would love to come back in the summer and do some fishing in Mike's deep pond.

Is a very special place with many great features. The layout of the home worked great for three couples. Two rooms and bath on one side and one room and bath other side of home. I personally thought that a lot of the owners "stuff" was everywhere. Even in the refrigerator there was a lot of items belonging to owner. Not a lot of shelf room for our food. A suggestion would be to remove the extra, not necessary items so not so cluttered. All the "stuff" took away from the uniqueness and charm of the home.

Amazing property

Country side property with amazing view. This property owner had a horse which was very friendly. My 2yrs old son enjoyed looking at the horse. Property had a pond with lot of fishes. Overall stay was great!

Eclectic Getaway

We were looking for a peaceful place to getaway for a short time that would be close to home We found it here! Quiet, tranquil location near a quaint town. The property was colorful and eclectic. Lots of room to spread out and relax. We enjoyed the fireplace and large living area with views of the farm. We hope to come back in the summer to take advantage of fishing in the pond and sitting on the deck.

Mike was super friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful, the horse was very friendly. We took our dog and he loved the property. The kitchen is very well stocked! We will return for sure!

Just wonderful!

We were in town for a wedding. My Dad and my 2 daughters stayed here and we had a very wonderful time! Everything was simple and easy :) It was so relaxing waking up to the animals and we especially loved the horse - she was so sweet and we were able to pet her and interact with her! The sunrises were gorgeous! Would definitely come back!! Thank you SO much for opening your home - we really appreciate it!!!

Was the perfect spot for our mom getaway!

We loved our stay. Everything was exactly how we visualized our mom getaway to be. Big windows that looked out to beautiful, snowy farmland. Comfy spots to read or watch tv. We thought there was not a tv on site at first, but were please to find that was incorrect. We got to enjoy our favorite shows! Mike is a wonderful and attentive host. Farm fresh eggs just for us in the fridge and fresh flowers on the table with a kind welcome note. He brought us wood for the fireplace and made sure we felt safe before checking out to drive home in the snow storm. It was so quiet and the beds are comfy. The kitchen was very accommodating for the meals we cooked each day. We’d loved to stay again. Thank you, Mike!

Weekend getaway

We had a lovely stay. The property was very pretty, meeting Robin-hood, the horse, was so fun and the property manager was very welcoming and great to work with. We enjoyed our visit and would recommend the cabin!

Quiet farm home.

it's a secluded farm home that is nice and quiet. The serenity and scene of the land is beautiful and relaxing. The home is big for everyone and the family. Everything you mainly need is on the property. The owner made sure if we needed anything and allowed us to use anything we may need. The home is clean and beds were good to sleep in. We fell in love with the home and area and got super comfortable.

Burlington Farmhouse

Such a great property and the owner Mike is a great guy. The view of the farmland is amazing, and we got treated to a beautiful thunderstorm one night to watch out of the big windows. Really close to everything, and the house has everything you need. Will definitely be making a trip back here at some point. Thanks Mike!

So relaxing

The cabin is quite large and, if there were to be a large group staying there, each would have their space without being on top of one another. The kitchen is very well stocked and has lots of cookware. The owner got us wood and kindling for the fireplace. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. There were some minor cleanliness and other issues which the owner was informed about and he took immediate action to address the issues. We are considering staying here again.

Great getaway in beautiful area

Very nice cabin with great owners. Great for dog owners. However, please communicate with owners as they have a very friendly dog they allow to run on the farm. Not a problem with our dogs and they met a good friend, but some dogs may not welcome the friendly companion.

Mike was an absolutely amazing host! A group of 6 of us came in to see Phish at Alpine Valley, and from the start we were greeted and made to feel right at home! We were so fortunate to stay here! Highly recommend this place to anyone!
