This is the second time we have stayed in this beautiful home.

This is a special place. Pool is perfect. Home is well appointed. Kitchen is fabulous. Proximity to Palm Beach is good. Neighborhood is adorable. Dog loved it here! Great space amd perfect for family and friends

Great escape - comfortable home, room to spread out, convenient location

Our family of 5 had a great time staying here. The property was clean and extremely comfortable. We all had room to spread out and relax. The outdoor and pool area were private and beautiful. The property owner was very responsive whenever we had any questions. And the location was extremely convenient - easy walk into main area of Northwood, quick drive to grocery, Whole Foods, great restaurants, Palm Beach, beaches, golf, highway north and south to see friends.

The property was as advertised. I it was a good location to enjoy Palm Beach . The weather was a bit cool and rainy so we did not get the chance to enjoy the beautiful pool.Jerome was always very responsive and very nice.

The House is spacious and relaxing. The area is calm and quite. Easy access to shops and several beaches all within a very simple drive of the property. Jerome our host is very helpful and accommodating, easy to contact and very quick to respond to any issues, we only had minor things needing a little assistance. We had a great stay at this home, our family of two adult sons and their sister and partner joined us during the stay and all had nice times and fun together. This house is a great base to explore the area.

LOVELY HOME in Northwood

First the location -- Historic Northwood is a small, quiet, old neighborhood in West Palm Beach. It is a community where you may get to know neighbors even if you are only staying for 4 weeks. Second the house – the house is about 50 years old, but it has been well maintained – new mattresses, cotton sheets, good kitchen. It is spacious and easy to live in. The garden and pool are lovely. We had a terrific month here and found our host to be responsive to any needs we had – where to shop, best areas to walk, best beaches to visit.

Great pool; could be a really cute place

We stayed a month and asked to leave early because the house was not clean and many things were falling apart. It was priced as “luxury”, but feels more like a friend let you stay at their lived-in place. The outside areas and neighborhood are very nice, but plan to hire your own cleaning service to feel more comfortable. When we arrived, there were hair and crumbs on floors and surfaces. The manager re-sent the same cleaner who does not clean thoroughly, so we hired our own service. The manager was friendly and responsive and as helpful as could be, but we had 12 repair-related visits in the first 18 days (not including ongoing correspondence or regular services like yard/pool maintenance). These include: replacing the broken dishwasher, patio furniture, toilet seat and a moldy shower curtain; repairing the AC, door handles and toilet handles that broke off in our hands, etc. It’s a spacious house in a nice location, and the pool and grounds are beautiful. The manager gave us a bottle of Champagne and refunded the first night, but would not credit us any days if we left early (so we ultimately stayed, as we had to be in the area for the month and had paid a lot). In the first-night-refund process, he accidentally refunded two nights; we asked how to return the extra amount, but he said we could keep it in exchange for not writing a poor review. With some updates and a more in-depth cleaning process, the house could be really nice.

I completely disagree with you. Our house is very comfortable and clean. You can see our other reviews and everybody where very happy. As well as the cleaning. I am sorry our house was not to your re convenience. We tried everything humanly possible to accommodate you re every request. It is not a new home but we did a major renovation 2 years ago and all the decoration and furniture where new. Our cleaning lady that we have in our family for a long time is impeccable. And we do a complete deep clean between our guests as we mostly accept only 1 month at a time. And may I remind you it is a large home, not a tiny hotel room. When you asked to leave early I propose to you to put it back for rent and reimburse you the days that were rented and u declined. It would have rented extremely fast as it is high season. It is one of our family vacation homes that we renovated and decorated ourselves. The price you paid in the highest season was a deal as those types of homes is generally 4 times the price. I think it is not honorable of you to write a review like this and still take the free nights we gave you to make you happy even if we didn't have to.
