Large Beach Front Home

Welcome to Breach Break a large house with room for everyone. Located between Takaka and Pohara. It is a spacious house with a soul in a beautiful location, directly on the beach. The kitchen is very well equipped and makes cooking fun. There are six different sized bedrooms three bathrooms and two living rooms inside, plus a large deck looking out on the ocean. Perfect for a relaxed holiday with direct access to Rototai beach, excellent fishing spots a bonus.
Lots of lawn for children to play and plenty of parking for cars and boats.
Takaka with its many cafes, shops and galleries is only a few minutes drive or a 15 minute bike ride away.
Enjoy being away from home in this fantastic house!

A cleaning charge of $125 will be added to the price to allow for supply and washing of linen and cleaning of the house after your stay.

Special conditions:
There is a second smaller house 'The bach' at the back of the section which is rented out. Please be mindful that there could be guests at the back of the property and keep away from this area. There is still plenty of room at the front of the property along with direct beach access.
No tents or campers without prior arrangement.
No parties allowed as this is a residential area.
No quad or motorbikes to be ridden around property or on the beach.

Fabulous house! Very family friendly with loads of space for the kids to run around and right on the beach. Beds are comfortable and the outside deck area is amazing! It's our second time here and would definitely stay again.

What a fabulous time we all had. The property was ideal for our needs. Bags of space, wonderful setting and plenty of activities for all ages. The property was spotlessly clean and Toni was the perfect hostess. The snapper was exceptional, by the way. Great to have all the family under one roof - and what an impressive roof it was too. Every need catered for, from kitchen equipment to books and games. We were sad to leave.

Perfect Spot for a Family Holiday

We had a wonderful weekend away for a big family getaway. The house was perfect—spacious, comfy, and really well set up for a group. We especially loved the cosy fireplaces, relaxing on the sunny deck, and making the most of the big front yard. The beach is right there too, which made for some lovely walks. It’s a great spot for families to unwind and enjoy time together!

Such a great spot - plenty of space!

A really awesome home. Lots of space and a real classic kiwi bach vibe but with all the modern conveniences. Amazing location, super peaceful and close to the water. Everything a family could want and plenty more.

Fabulous holiday house

Huge areas everywhere, brilliant kitchen, beds so comfortable, incredibly clean, and all facilities superb for holiday relaxation!! The lawn leading to the beach was so inviting though we were so busy exploring and playing golf we didn’t make full use of it!! The house and grounds were marvellous for our group of 10. We thoroughly enjoyed our time, and the weather played its part. It would’ve been nice to top it off with the Sky Sports channels, but we managed to get around this by streaming it through the devices.

Great house for family vacation

The house could easily accommodate a larger group than our 7. It gave us plenty of room for all we wanted to do. The living area was good for movies, the table was great for games and there were places to read and enjoy the setting. The setting was wonderful - large yard, privacy and beach out the back door. The house helped to make our 7 day family holiday very memorable.

A very special haven

Loved this house sooo much. What a spot. The house is amazing with beautiful space all around. Comfiest beds and well equipped kitchen. Lovely having 3 + spots/nooks to go to through the day to relax (we were a small group of friends). It was a dream of a weekend.

Great stay

Property is one that makes you feel on holiday straight away. Big kitchen and large table to gather at and be together, and areas to escape for a chill out, great decking area to relax on. Everyone was impressed. Close to town and all the attractions & walks. Could of easily stayed for longer. Thanks

Terrific for an extended family holiday

We all loved staying here. The house was equipped with everything we needed and more = from pots to games. We loved the wide expanse of lawn which allowed lots of outside games and the ready access to the water. We also did a number of lovely walks - ideal for children as well, that were within a 10 to 15 minute radius, Unlikde most on-line photos of houses, this house was even better than the photos!

Rototai Getaway

We had a great time at the Beach Break! Todd built a ramp to make access easy for our wheelchair bound son, and the very roomy nature of the house meant there was plenty of space for him to get around without having to move anything. The kitchen and bathrooms were awesome. We played baseball on the lawn when the weather allowed, walked on the beach, played Jenga on the deck and cards inside when it rained. We totally recommend this house to anyone wanting a lovely place to stay in the Bay.

This is an amazing house in a beautiful location. Thank you for supplying everything we needed and more besides from super large chopping boards to games and dvds - (that we never did get around to watching). The beds were comfortable and there was room enough for everyone to spread out. It was a lovely few days, just what we needed after walking the Abel Tasman track. Loved the peace and quiet, the expansive space and the lovely long low tide that went on forever. A very special place.

Relaxation and Recreation

It was the best accommodation for our family with children and age differences where different needs could be met. To stay close to an Estuary for Birdobservation is certainly a highlight, the big lawn perfect for restless teenagers and little children alike. The house meets all needs that one wants, modern kitchen and amenities, a lay out that works. The open fire place brings a cosiness to the whole place and one can relax on any of the multiple seating areas in the open plan living area. One little corner was perfect for morning tea and observing the sunrise. Another area was perfect to do some puzzles while others had a chat around the big table. Kinds loved the attic and ladder to a hide a way in one of the bedrooms. DVD collection is enormous, no time to get bored. No doubt we will be back

Perfect family get together

This property was perfect for our large three generation family group. Great selection of bedroom options and plenty of space for groups to seperate in warm cosy spaces. We stayed in the middle of winter and we’re expecting it to take a while to warm up but it was very warm, light and airy and easy to heat despite the gloom and rain. Beds warm and comfortable with simple sufficient bathrooms. The kitchen was really well equiped for our large family group - plenty of good quality pots, pans, appliances, knives etc and plenty of plates cups glasses etc too. Very accommodating kitchen table to fit everybody. Great communication with Toni the owner - all in all we would fully recommend this property and can only imagine it would be amazing in the summer with the beach on the doorstep. Really enjoyed seeing the resident NZ falcon and spoonbills too - such a treat! Thank you!

Family Easter Beach Holiday

We all loved the bach and would like to holiday there again. In particular, it was super clean with a large well equipped kitchen/ dining room. Huge flat grass area for the children to play and beyond that a quiet, safe shallow beach. The bach is in a perfect, quiet location between Pohara and Takaka. Thank you….. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
