We had a wonderful stay and views were incredible! Only reason for 4 stars is you can hear everything from other cabins next to you. I specifically asked about privacy. Yes, you can't see your neighbors but you can hear every word they say if out on the decks. Unfortunately we had fighting neighbors for 3 of the nights who loved the F word. Not our place to go over there and say take it inside. We rent private homes to not have to listen to other people. Just wanted people to be aware how close these cabins actually are. If your okay with that, it's really gorgeous view.

I’m glad you enjoyed the beautiful view from our cabin—I’m sorry the noise levels impacted your peace and quiet, and we’ll look into ways to improve sound management, but, having said that, just like the hot tub smell, you said nothing until the night before checkout and you said not a word about a noise issue until now, two weeks after the fact. Reading through all your messages, I find no questions about privacy. No, it isn’t your place to ask the neighbor to “take it inside” but it would have been my place to ask them if you had let me know about it. We pride ourselves in proving great stays for our guests but we can’t fix a problem if we don’t know about it. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back in the future.

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It’s cozy, comfortable and quiet. We never tired of the lake view, enjoying the outdoors at both ends of the day. Lots to do in the area. A pontoon rental on Fontana Lake is strongly recommended in season. Bryson City is a great mountain town with great coffee shops in particular.

View like no other! We arrived in the middle of the night, so were surprised by the gorgeous view in the morning not only do you have that beautiful view from the patio but also from both bedrooms and the living room. Would strongly recommend arriving during the day so that you can see the roads and the driveway. Home was well equipped. The check in and check out process were very easy. The town of Bryson is really cute with shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend visiting the NOC. Bring the bug spray and may want citronella candles for the patio.

The property was just as described and pictured. The surroundings were super peaceful. Sitting on the deck or soaking in the hot tub and taking in that gorgeous view was therapeutic! The bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. Eagle’s Landing is the middle property of three in a row. You can hear (not what’s being said) the occupants on either side when you’re on the deck, but you can’t see them because there are privacy hedges. I only mention this because I don’t recall if it’s clear in the description. Otherwise there is nothing but nature surrounding the place.

Wonderful stay. Beautiful views. Fragrance free appreciated. In our opinion, hot tub location was less than ideal. We would have preferred chairs and table there. Not a big deal though.

We only had one night to stay in this amazing cabin…oh how we would have loved to stay longer! The views were spectacular! The cabin was clean cozy and very comfortable. The fireplace added warmth and charm. The beds were wonderful. And did I mention the hot tub?!

We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It was very clean and updated with a fantastic view. The pictures are accurate and likely don’t do it justice. There are a cluster of three cabins at the top of the mountain but I felt there was plenty of privacy. We saw a bald eagle on our last evening, which felt like a nice end to our stay. We drove about 55 minutes to hike Charlie’s bunion from Newfound Gap. We rode the Smoky Mountain Railroad in an open air car. We visited the Oconaluftee visitor center and walked the short trail and saw a group of elk drinking nearby from the river.We definitely book another stay in the future.

The property was peaceful with breathtaking views! We rented both cabins with our friend group and enjoyed both deck spaces and the fire pit. The cabins were clean, tastefully appointed, and accessible to the marina and the town shops and restaurants. We’d stay here again!

There's a Peace here that we've never felt before. This place is awe - inspiring. It almost forces you to stop in your tracks every time you look outside. We built Eagle's Nest to give our guests the feeling they were floating on water...and sometimes in clouds. From the Living Room and both Bedrooms there are French Doors that open out onto a 728 sq ft (partially covered) deck that extends out over top of Fontana Lake. From the theatrical morning sunrise to the day's last light, and on a clear night you can see the Milky Way, the show this magical place performs is ever changing and always jaw dropping.

We designed and built 'Eagle's Nest' to accommodate anyone. This cabin is wheelchair accessible with a sidewalk and wheelchair ramp. The large master bedroom and master bathroom include enough space to turn a wheelchair within a 5 foot radius. Without much extra time and materials, we've tried to create a thoughtful home, keeping everyone in mind.
We call this cabin Eagle's Nest because Bald Eagles are always near by the cabin. They can be seen flying close to the cabin's deck, playing in the air at eye level, and even diving into the lake after a fish. This year (2025) we witnessed the eagles building a nest on the Hickory Flats Peninsula. This is the closest part of the park projecting out into the lake. Now you can see them year round coming and going from this peninsula! This is an unforgettable experience.
