Great place to relax

It was a lovely well presented Cottage. Just the perfect place to relax after completing a couple of hiking trips. We had a beautiful day, enjoying the garden and walking down to The Store.

Beautiful country cottage

We loved the property, so peaceful and quaint. Very nice to have an espresso machine, milk eggs, jams and butter in the fridge added to the lovely country feel. Very well through out to make our stay comfortable also forgot to mention the amazing bath, deep and relaxing oils . 👌

Idyllic!

Perfect home, gorgeous property, beautiful views, magnificent starry sky, lovely rural location. This was everything we imagined for New Zealand. Close enough to Ohua Point (seals!) and Kaikōura (whale watching!), but lovely in its own right! Sarah was a delightful host. Had all sorts of gifts and provisions waiting for us, and checked in during the cyclone (yup) and the tremor (whoa!). We cannot recommend this opportunity more highly!

Fabulous Stay

This was possibly the most gorgeous bach we have stayed in. The location was breathtaking, the house was the perfect mix of luxurious but practical. Had everything we required. Host was extremely helpful and great communication. Am already planning to visit again soon

Fabulous stay

This is a gorgeous rural property set amongst the rolling hills. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need. If we had known that it was to be such a treat, we would have loved to stay a bit longer. The setting is very relaxing and you can’t help but slow down. Beautiful gardens, outlooks and relaxing spaces.

Incredible spot!

Was worried driving to the property with the gravel roads, but once I got to the property - the views, immaculate gardens and fruit farm were such a pleasant surprise. The house itself is awesome and with a very nice kitchen. I enjoyed making my own bread and my pup enjoyed having a run around the property as it is fully fenced. If you need to completely unwind after a long drive from the North, this is one of the better places out there so don't miss it!

Peaceful haven for the weekend.

A perfect farm cottage with everything provided to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay. High quality appliances, fanatstic telescope on a stunning starry night, beautiful homemade jams and amazing garden views to the coast were only some of the highlights. Great comfortable beds, quality lines and towels. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic All Around Experience with Beautiful Views

This is a hidden gem. Sarah, our host has a beautiful home. As it is far away from a township she provided many extras that were very unexpected and really generous. The house was immaculate as was the grounds. The views were amazing and it is very private. We will definitely be recommending this to our friends. Book this place, you will be really pleased you did. We will be back. We also enjoyed visiting Flaxbourne Olive Oil and Ward Beach.

Perfect for a relaxing break

We loved our stay at this cottage... it was exceptionally well set up, with generous touches by the host that made it stand out above other similar properties we have stayed at. Lovely gardens and sea view, with different spots to sit and relax. The kitchen is well supplied with equipment and cookbooks, perfect for foodies, and lots of magazines and books in the lounge. A perfect spot to get away from it all. Would love to come back again.

Peaceful and relaxing stay

The cottage is well equipped and have everything we need and nothing we don't. The garden is huge and flat just perfect for our 2 dogs to play in without worrying them running away as the whole property is fully fenced. Perfect for a short getaway holiday. Thank you.

The perfect place for peace and tranquillity

I stayed here with my 89 year old Mum and my daughter for 3 nights. The directions were easy to follow and we were quickly in and set up. The only sounds were the sea and the birds, So peaceful. Was just a short drive to The Store and the beach. Our hime for the weekend was very clean and comfortable. We loved the wood burner, it kept us lovely and warm. I recommend stating here and would return again.

What a fantastic place, just excellent.

This is just the perfect place to relax. The beautiful surroundings, gardens and views. The cottage is like straight out of book, with all the charm but with no shortcuts of any luxuries. Very peaceful spot with just the distant roar of the ocean, the odd farm animal and birds.

This little piece of rural NZ countryside is remote but not far off the beaten track allowing isolation if wanted or easy travel to Blenheim or Kaikoura. Sarah the amazing hostess goes above and beyond to ensure you have everything you could ever need to make your stay enjoyable.

PERFECT HIDEAWAY TO RE CHARGE

A get away holiday you could only dream about, set in the most beautiful terrain, mountain and sea views. Sarah presents the property immaculately. Our 11 month old spoodle did not want to leave, nor did we!! Sarah was a gem sorting our flat battery on departure day, not one but two locals turned up to help A+++++++++

Is this heaven on earth?

Our stay here was just magic and the setting of the property is breathtaking. The property is stocked with every comfort with many considered touches that immediately made us feel at home. We could have stayed forever. Communication from Sarah was wonderful and informative. Have already booked our return trip. Highly recommended.
