We go to Destin every summer and this will be our go to hone from now on. Close to crab island, restaurants, and the beach. The dock out back and porches made this place in my opinion. I loved drinking my coffee and having my boat right out my back door! It was exactly as stated.

Was perfect location for us bringing our boat with us, dock on canal would accommodate 30’+ easily and right across the canal from the boardwalk where all the restaurants etc was for a short trip back at night on the water

Great Location

Perfect location within the main areas of Destin. Especially if you're bringing a boat. Dock area was big enough for my 23' Center Console. Fresh water hoses and power outlets are at the dock as well. No lift is available, so your boat will sit in the water. Wasn't an issue for me. Inside the property was clean and well maintained, master bedroom, kitchen, and living room were very spacious. Would stay again!

Perfect for boaters

We typically visit Destin twice a year. This location is perfect for boaters. You are able to dock your boat at the back door after a day at Crab Island. For the evening, you are just across the harbor from Boshamps!

Property on picture is not where we ended up staying. But the penthouse they switched us to was very clean and considering it was during COVID was hard to go anywhere so we enjoyed the pool on the premises.

Definitely not worth the price. Pictures are deceiving.

The outside if this property looks nothing like the pictures. The deck is rotten, the sandy area and flower beds are full of weeds. The gas grill was so disgusting it was unusable. We stay in Destin every year. We paid more for this property than we've ever paid. It was by far in the worst condition. The tile floor down stairs crumbles when you walk on it. The upstairs has carpet which isn't the greatest for a pet friendly home. The bathrooms have never been updated. The railing on the top deck is loose. It is like the owner has done no maintenance at all. I reached out to the property management company before we left two days ago and haven't gotten a response. This property is maybe worth half the price. I will say the layout and location worked good for us. I was happy to be able to bring my dog and overall the property was clean. It is just in major need of maintenance. The listing needs to update the pictures to the current status of the property. I wish I was able to upload what I took so future renters can see what they are actually getting. We stayed in a super nice condo last year that was alot cheaper than this. For this price point you expect a high end rental and that is not what you are getting here.

Pictures did not reflect current condition of condo. Furniture/sofa needed cleaning or really needed to be replaced. Cushions sagged. Rugs dirty. Deck was close to being rotten.

Property Mgmt Company Difficult

I called and requested early check in a week ahead of our arrival. The mgmt company put me on the list for the cleaners and said to call the day of check in at noon. I called the day of check in and they said we were still on the list and they would notify me when the cleaners were finished. We launched the boat and arrived to the property as the cleaners were leaving at 1:00 pm. I called the mgmt company again and they still would not let us enter the property until the inspector came to check the cleaners work and they would call me when that happened. We waited around until normal check in time, 4:00 pm, with still no call that we could check in. First, do not tell customers they can check in early when you know realistically it isn’t feasible. Second, you should trust your cleaning team to do their job and not have to have an inspector double check their work.

Pictures of property are very misleading

The townhouse has a nice layout, however the maintenance and cleanliness are not what you would expect of a high dollar rental. The bathrooms were dirty. The first floor substrate is failing and the back deck is rotting. AND Do Not try to enter the property at 3:50pm!! The electronic door leaves you locked out until exactly 4:00pm central time (we came from ET). No help from the property management folks. They don't care because all monies are due a month before checkin. There are lots of really nice places in Destin. Don't stop at this one.

Comfortable stay.

We enjoyed our first stay in this location. Loved the access to water. Could have used some response from management when asking some general questions (never got a response)but overall it worked for us!

November 2019 Stay

I truly enjoyed coming down after thanksgiving. This place was a little piece of heaven. The view is very peaceful and relaxing. I enjoyed watching boats pass by while enjoying grilled cuisine. My boyfriend and I went to 'Boshamps' just around the corner and enjoyed cocktails. We cooked, ate, watched movies and played with our Fur babies in the sand. The Neighborhood was friendly. People jogging and dog walking. The amenities were all very nice. Smooth check in and directions. I was a little disappointed the master bedroom did not have a tv but I adjusted. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to order a few grocery items thru 'Shipt'. They came right to the front door. I'd definitely come back.
