The main level of the home will be the hub for entertaining with a spacious living area and a fully equipped kitchen just waiting for the chef of the group to show off their skills. Enjoy spectacular sunsets, fireworks, boat parades, and more year-round without ever leaving your back deck! That's not even the best of what this Waterfront Home has to offer, as you can fish from your backyard or jump in your boat from the dock and make your way to the Pass, Gulf of Mexico, and Crab Island in five minutes! You'll also find a separate living area on the main level with its own private entrance utilizing a Kaba lock. Would Stay again

Great place especially if you have Littles. We loved exploring the shallow Waters just to the left of the boat docks. We found sea urchins, hermit, crabs, snails, crabs, small fish of all kinds, and loved watching the red fish and large black drum and schools of the mullet swing by.

Amazing Location

We just spent 5 nights at salty daze and had an amazing time! The properties location is amazing and you really never have to leave if you don’t want to. The home was perfect for us with two bedrooms upstairs and then a separate little apartment area downstairs. We were able to see dolphins in the harbor and a sea turtle even swam up to shallow water right in front of us! There are lots of activities provided by the owner (kayaks, paddle boards and bikes). Would definitely recommend!

Perfect location and great condo

Three friends and I came up here for a weekend of fishing in Destin. The location on the water, and the building itself could not have worked out better. There are beautiful views from multiple decks. We really enjoyed ourselves. It would definitely stay again.

Relaxing stay

We had a great stay. My husband fished directly off the back porch and I enjoyed the lounge chairs. Views of beautiful boats and the water. Everything we needed. A little dated but being renovated and in a perfect location. We will definitely return to this rental. Thank you.

Loved having a boat dock!!

We really enjoyed our stay. Having a place to keep the boat in the water was awesome!! It was very clean and the check in process was smooth. Something to note is that the “3rd bedroom” is on the lower level and NOT connected to the rest of the house. You have to go outside to get to the rest of the house which was a bit of a let down for our group.

Convient

This place would have been a 5 except for two major factors. 1) even though in the fine print, I found this out, initially looking at the pictures you would never guess that you have no access to the downstairs room. You have to go outside and around the back of the property to access the extra living space the upstairs unit really only sleeps at the most six people. Do not allow yourself to believe more than six people will all be together. The downstairs separate apartment is very hot.2) You have no place to put your boat trailer. This is an HOA property. If you only have 4 to 6 people, I would highly recommend this if you're not using the boat dock.

Lower your expectations

This property is was not to the standards that the pictures made it out to be. The front door was all rusted, garage door full of dirt and mildew, front porch full of dirt and mud and the trash bags (not in a can) from the previous tenant were still there in the hot sun. We were ready to leave before even opening the door. Upon entering the rusted door, the stairs to the main level were sticky and flooring throughout the house. We felt like we were walking in a bar that hadn’t cleaned their floors from the night before. Needless to say, we wore shoes the entire time in the house. The rest of the home inside was pretty clean. The upper deck off the master bedroom had a ton of mildew stains on the walls and on the furniture that it wasn’t used at all. The grill was also unusable because the igniter and the lighter didn’t work, so we ended up having to cook our steak in the frying pan. Be prepared to get everything at the store because they don’t provide any extras…salt/pepper, tin foil, cleaning supplies, xtra paper towels. The kayaks are basically unusable unless maybe your a kid with a good back and bum. I did use the paddle board, one was full of water, but the other was ok. Also bring your own safety gear because they’re aren’t any life jackets or bike helmets. The old tenant trash finally got picked up on the 3rd day. No trash can was provided even through we asked twice about it. The extra linens in the closet were just gross, pillows with yellow stains all over them.
