The place was spacious and perfect for our family get-together — plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The host and property manager were wonderful and very accommodating, making check-in and communication smooth. One small tip for future guests: if you need extra blankets, it’s best to bring your own since the provided ones mainly cover the rooms. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the home was wonderful. We had a family reunion including young kids to teenagers and everyone had a fantastic time. The property is beautiful, we enjoyed climbing out to the rocks to watch the sunset each day. The home was well equipped with everything we needed. It had plenty of workout equipment that we didn’t end up using, but the kitchen was stocked and the big table on the patio was amazing, we ate every meal outside. Would happily return again!

Great house, very secluded.

Loved the house, the amenities, the basement floor game room. Very secluded which is great, but it also means it’s a drive to everything. Ice maker doesn’t work for a home that size. I would consider getting a separate one for the home.

Family summer vacation

Our multigenerational family had a fantastic time staying at the Hacienda. Everything was well equipped with all the essentials for a home away from home. The grandkids loved the bunk room and play area upstairs as well as the fort and exploring outside. Plenty of room for our adult children spread out and have some privacy too. We utilized the hot tub and cold plunge most days. We cooked breakfast every morning and dinner a couple of nights. The kitchen had everything we needed. The management was quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. I would definitely recommend this home for family, large groups or team building events . We had a fabulous time .

Excellent huge cabin with sauna and cold plunge!

It was one of the best places we have stayed at Tahoe and we have stayed at many places! The Sauna and cold plunge were a treat especially after a day of boarding! All the equipments worked. Property manager was super easy to communicate with throughout the stay. We will definitely stay here if the opportunities arises again!

Amazing stay

This is our second time staying in this beautiful home. It has an amazing fireplace, spacious living room, dining space and kitchen. All the bedrooms have comfortable beds and sheets and pillows. The hot tub, sauna and cold plunge are wonderful amenities. The outdoor space is perfect for kids to play in the snow and just run around. Rachel, the property manager is the best, super friendly and accommodating.

Wonderful Family Getaway

We had 3 families, 7 adults and 7 kids from ages 3 to 13. It was a dream vacation. The house has large common areas and a great kitchen. The property is secluded and hilly -- a perfect place for kids to spend hours sledding every day.The house was large enough for some of the kids to have some quiet time while others watched movies or played pool.The whole experience was a treat and I'm looking forward to the next time we visit.

Tremendous Truckee Lodge

Large cabin lodge easily fitting our 15 people with toddler. Wonderful cabin atmosphere, many things to do. We used the hot tube, cold plunge and sauna the most. Large open areas and the kitchen has just about any utensil one woone would need.

Amazing Property and Great Amenities

My friends and I stayed here and it's one of the best properties we've stayed at. The owners and property managers are extremely helpful and made sure our stay was smooth and comfortable. The house has a game room and spa amenities and kept us entertained throughout the trip. I'd definitely come back here!

Everything you could need and more

This place was amazing. We had 12 guys for a golf trip and had no need to leave. I wish we had a few more days at the house. Well equipped, plenty of space, game room, and the host was super easy to work with. Highly recommend for a larger group of friends or big family getaways.

We were married back in July 2019 in the Napa Valley and our one true love is travel and bringing people together. Hacienda de Leyenda is our dream and vision of creating beautiful, curated spaces for gatherings, whether it be families, friends, a small corporate retreat, small intimate wedding or a wellness retreat. We plan on creating new retreats in Ibiza (Spain), Byron Bay hinterland (NSW Australia), Hokkaido region (Japan), San Miguel de Allende (Mexico) as well as expanding in the US beyond Woodstock, NY and Truckee, CA.

Its location heading towards Martis Peak is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of life that we are sometimes weighed down by. Surrounded by nature and with stunning sunsets, our home has been designed with all the modern amenities for a premium and very private experience, unparalleled in the north Tahoe region.

We are geographically located conveniently to the ski mountains, the north and west side of Lake Tahoe, the beautiful town of Truckee and a short 30 minutes drive to Reno International airport.

We have extended our property by adding a sauna, cold plunge, fire pit and we also put up two large lotus belle tents in the summer months which are fully styled in a Moroccan Bedouin feel. Each Lotus Belle tent has a full king bed, chill out area and a day bed too. Please ask for more details on the tents as they are used to support larger group bookings for our property but do incur an additional charge for rental and cleaning.

We have two large paved terraces on two different levels that lend themselves perfectly for outdoor dining and banquets, a small reception or a wellness program including yoga, pilates or meditation.
