Only one bedroom on the main level, stairs up and down are really steep. Not really any parking for a full sized truck. No A/C. However, the house has a beautiful view from the main level deck, and is clean, TV in living room, books, games, cooking utensils, spices, dishes, etc. fully stocked. We enjoyed the stay very much!

The cabin was spacious, clean and well stocked with everything you'd expect to find. I already miss the beautiful views of Donner Lake and the fresh mountain air. The location is a close to Lake Tahoe and even closer to downtown Truckee but far enough away from the summer crown to enjoy some serenity. Norma and Bill were very accommodating to a special need that I had for which I am very grateful. It's on my short list of places I'd be very happy to return to.

Another great trip to the Markley cabin. Everything was clean, well appointed and comfortable. I struggle with the TV remotes, but that's a 73 year old man trying to navigate a system with multiple remotes. Probably not going to happen in 4-5 days, By the time I start to get it figured out it's time to go home. We did miss the deck lights coming on at night.

Oh my..we took off the 4th of July deck ligjts and didn't think to put up the plain white ones. We will have to do better, since we know the deck lights are appreciated.

We had a great stay in this wonderful home right across from Donner Lake. Clean and comfortable. Perfect location for skiing Sugar Bowl, with quick and easy access to Truckee. Nancy and Bill were communicative and helpful. We'd love to stay here again. Thanks!

I rented the cabin to celebrate my 60th birthday with a group of girlfriends and had a wonderful time. Cute little cabin, great views, easy access, and lots to do in the vicinity. As a light sleeper, it was just a little tough sleeping downstairs because the floors are super creaky.
