ABOUT THE CHALET
Completely remodeled in 2013 with new floors, cabinets, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, furniture, beds, dishes and linens. Enjoy the sunny backyard with room for making snowmen in the winter and a large deck with plenty of space for your summer BBQ. Close to the meadow for sledding and great hiking; 1.5 miles to the beach. Envision modern comfort with classic cabin character; the deluxe kitchen and breakfast bar open onto a living area with leather sofas, 42” flat screen Smart HDTV, and wood burning stove. Bring your group together for meals at the handsome wood dining table with bench seating for eight (plus seating for two more at the bar).
The chalet sleeps five guests in four bedrooms. The master boasts a queen-sized bed and views of an evergreen backyard. A second downstairs bedroom offers a queen bed and twin-over-twin bunk bed. Two additional bedrooms are perfect for families, with a queen and a twin bed in each.
The deck is where you’ll do much of your relaxing in the warmer months. Fully equipped with Adirondack chairs, a gas BBQ, and a picnic table - it’ll be your place for enjoying breakfast among the tall pines before a day of excitement, or where you’ll regroup for grilling hamburgers after hitting the trails.
You’ll be located just minutes from Heavenly Mountain Resort, known for its 97 runs, many of which overlook the spectacular blue waters of Tahoe. Plus you are only 1 mile from the lake.
Put on your hiking boots and set out on the Tahoe Rim Trail; take in unforgettable views of the lake from granite-edged trails.
Visit the many restaurants along Lake Tahoe Boulevard. Freshies Restaurant serves up Hawaiian-inspired tacos in a laidback setting, while Riva Grill offers famous cocktails and creative cuisine in a classy lakeside establishment.
THE FINE PRINT
Strict ordinances govern Tahoe vacation rentals. This home cannot be used for parties/weddings/receptions. Maximum allowable occupancy is 5 people and 2 cars, enforced/patrolled 24 hours/day (meaning even an afternoon BBQ with too many people is subject to citation/fine). Over-occupancy, excess vehicles, or excessive noise any time of day will result in guest fine up to $2,000 (in addition to fines assessed against the homeowner by local authorities). Failure to observe the NO PARTY policy may result in eviction. If there is a hot tub, no use after 10 PM. This home is in a sound-sensitive neighborhood and is not suitable for large/noisy groups.
